“Heather is an absolute pleasure. You can really see how much she loves dogs and always makes such a fuss of my Teddy, he loves seeing her already and it’s only been a few days!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

About: I can look after or care for your dog when you are at work. I used to have a couple of Jack Russells and some years ago a couple of border collies. All from puppies. I work from home now and live by myself and would love some company. I have a garden. My son has a dog Luna, Pixie is my twin sister’s dog and Tomaquet & Moocher were my Jack Russells. I am flexible on days as I am home every day including evenings and weekends. Able to take out for walks. I have a fenced garden. Happy to have 2 dogs from the same family. Also doggy day care is available. I have a Chi-Poo (Chihuahua mixed with a toy poodle). I started to use Rover myself as a customer last year as occasionally I have to go to Nottingham for a day with work, but started to care for other people's dogs earlier this year. I am getting really booked up so if you could confirm your booking as soon as you are able to after the meet and greet so that I can guarantee the booking for your doggie woggie that would be great. I like to arrange a meet and greet first though anyway and do that at my house in Woodsmoor so that your pooch can get used to a new environment and feel more familiar. I have looked after a variety of dogs including rescue dogs who need socialising with other dogs, taller dogs who can open door handles, greedy dogs who need to be given only the right amount of food so I have to watch that they don’t pinch other dogs food, down to the real, cheeky, sweet ones who are mischievous but you can’t help loving them as they are furiously wagging their tail 😂😂😂 I have looked after puppies, dogs with attitudes and the ones who like do things on their terms but I know what I can handle with boundaries. If I or Minnie are not happy with a dog I will say so but to be honest this has only happened a couple of times. I need to know your furbaby will be comfortable too xx I work from home so can care for dogs in my house. I don’t put my dog in kennels as she is not an outside kennel dog. Minnie shares the bed with me and I am happy for your special pooch to do the same. However if your dog is crate trained I can also accommodate that. I live near Mirlees fields, but also like going to Cale Green Park, Bramhall Park, Bruntwood Park and Vernon Park. I have a fenced in garden and always take dogs out on a lead. I love looking after dogs in my own house. My dog likes running around the garden. I have loads of fields nearby so if your dog is ok off the lead they can have a run around. I use dog seats in my car when travelling to ensure that all the doggies are kept safe!

About: My partner Scott grew up with dogs and I have been caring for family and friends dogs for over 5 years on overnight stays, walks and daycare, and now we have had our own for nearly 3 years since she was a puppy. With our springer spaniel Georgie, we have been through puppy training, Kennel Club training and more recently gundog training so able to cope with dogs of all ages and have knowledge on working breeds. Our springer spaniel absolutely loves to run and play with other dogs but also loves a good nap on the sofa so would be a good companion during the dog’s stay. We love going for walks, to coffee shops and to the pub with the dogs as part of our outings at the weekends as well as cosy nights at home on the sofa to meet as many of your dog’s needs as possible! We both work full time on a hybrid basis, meaning there would always be someone home with the dogs - our dog has a garden to play in and lunchtime walks in the week. At the weekend and in evenings we go for walks and outings to ensure the dog has a good time. We have a fully enclosed garden and plenty of inside space for the dog to play and snooze too. We can accommodate the dog to sleep anywhere overnight, as you wish with a crate, dog bed or wherever they are most comfortable. Our dog sleeps in the kitchen or living room but can be flexible for your dog’s needs.

“Erin took my dog Lilith for daily walks and she was incredibly punctual and gave her exactly what she needed, Lilith is a staffy/boxer and is still in the process of learning and Erin took great care of her and helped walk her perfectly, she took all of my advice and was respectful to the process which we are implementing with our dog and put them into her walks. Erin was also incredibly well mannered and respectful through the messages and was also quick to reply, she also kept me up to date with my dog during the day with photos which was incredibly nice, I could not recommended Erin any more, she was perfect and if you are looking for any services I would highly recommend her.”

About: Hi my name is Maddie I’ve been around different animals and had many pets growing up. I have had dogs, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Over the years, I’ve gained hands on experience caring for pets of all ages and personalities, from playful puppies and kittens to gentle senior dogs and cats who need a little extra support. My first job was working in a local cat rescue and cattery so I gained a lot of experience there and that really helped develop my love of looking after and caring for animals. I’ve raised three dogs from puppies, and also I have cared for my senior dog who had several medical needs, and I’m confident giving medication when required to both dogs and cats. I also have house sitting experience, looking after several dogs and cats while ensuring they felt safe, loved, and comfortable in their own home. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. My priority is to provide the same love, care, and attention your pets are used to, so you can feel at ease while you’re away. I work full time from home and am available to work anywhere remotely. I can do weekend boardings as well. I am unavailable Wednesdays but other than that I am fully available and flexible to meet your needs. I am fully insured and can send over proof if needed. I live with my boyfriend in a large house which has a small fenced back garden. I live within seconds of a big park where I can take your dogs for a walk and for whatever their exercise needs may be. I love all animals big and small and I am confident lead walking all types of dogs. I like to offer a home from home service so am flexible with your requirements. Pet Sitting & Boarding – When I’m in your home, I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine closely: feeding, walks, play, medication, and any special care they need. If they’re staying with me, they’ll enjoy plenty of love, attention, and comfort in a relaxed home setting, whilst keeping to their typical routine. I can send daily updates and send photos/videos as much as you would like. My most important goal is to ensure your pets happiness but also ensuring you are updated frequently so you can rest assured your pet is getting the best care possible.

About: As a part time kennel hand I walk, feed, bathe and administer medications to dogs! I have a small garden ideal for puppies and elderly dogs as well as a local park for the more active ones. Dogs will not be allowed off lead on walks however I do often take long scenic walks (2hrs+) and would be happy to have your pup with me if they are up for the challenge. There will always be a person home with your pet and I can promise a minimum of 3 let outs/walks a day (individual needs can be discussed.) They will have plenty of play time and my sofa is their sofa. I have a fenced garden and a room your pet can have to themselves if they would like a place to hide (I'm looking at you cat owners.) Lots of toys are about and I can accommodate a crate if your pet is accustomed to sleeping in one.

About: I've been surrounded by animals my whole life — dogs, cats, chinchillas, rabbits — you name it! I'm experienced with pets of all ages, from puppies and kittens through to senior companions, and everything in between. I’m a work-from-home software developer with flexible hours, so I can usually accommodate visits at most times of the day—even short notice! For bookings further in advance, I’m happy to arrange a free meet & greet to make sure everyone’s comfortable and everything runs smoothly. I always treat your home and pets with the utmost respect and care, following any specific instructions you provide to keep your pet safe and comfortable. During home visits, I maintain a calm and quiet presence to minimize stress, ensuring your pet’s routine—feeding, play, medication—is followed precisely. I never allow your pet outside without permission, and I’m vigilant about keeping doors and gates secure. About: I have had cats from a very early age I've recently had a dog for 3 years and helped to train him from being a pup he was a cockapoo and very much loved unfortunately due to splitting up from my partner I no longer have him. I love all pets as my own and they are definitely made to be part of the family. I have a 16 Yr old boy who to loves animals. I love walking we have lovely parks close by. My son will not be walking or looking after just me. I work from home whilst my son is at school so always with the animals when needed I have breaks for walks and plenty cuddles. I have a backyard fenced off so door is open when needed to go out, I have no pets of my own so one to one attention always.

“Amy looked after our dog while our regular walker was on holiday, and she was amazing! She was reliable, warm, and clearly experienced with dogs. Our pup adored her and came back from each walk happy and tired. It was such a relief knowing he was in safe, caring hands. We’d happily book Amy again—highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy walker!”

About: Hi, it's Nicole! Growing up as an only child I've always loved dogs and been responsible for looking after a furry pal at home, from Sammy the Toy Poodle to Chocolate the German Shepherd and Lulu the Westie. However, for the last couple of years renting has meant there's been a doggy shaped hole in my heart, but now that I'm moving into my own home I’m ready to welcome dogs back in with open paws. As an experienced pet sitter, I've previously looked after dogs of all ages as well as raised and trained my own whilst growing up. I understand every dog is different and has their own character as well as diet, mannerisms, and therefore needs to be understood and cared for in their own special way. I'd love to open up my home to your furry friend and make sure they receive all the love, attention, and care they need whilst you're away. I know how important it can be to be kept in the loop on how they're settling in, so I'll always make sure to send photo updates during their stay. Since I work from home your pup will slot right into my daily routine. I love a morning and lunch walk so we'll go for at least one potter a day (depending on how far they can walk). At the end of the workday, cuddles on the sofa are a MUST. I'll be available throughout the day for anything your dog needs. I live in a semi-detached spacious house with a fenced back garden and gated corner garden for outdoor time without leaving the house, or toilet breaks. My home is right in front of a park so ideal for walks. I don't take care of other client's pets at the same time — this means my attention will be only on your pet/pets so I can make sure they receive the best care possible.

About: We got our first family dog when I was about 8 years old. When I was about 14 we adopted Mickey, aged 2 - the family dog who sadly passed last year, aged 19. Since then my family had Pablo, an energetic Sprocker Spaniel. And my partner and I have had our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Copper, for 6 years from being a puppy. I regularly care for Pablo when my parents are on holiday, and have looked after friends dogs in the past. I'm working from home typically 2 days a week. On the days I'm in work, my dog will be looked after by friends or parents. My daily routine when working from home consists of a 45 minute walk first thing in the morning to the local park - usually 7.30/8am - and if the dog is up for it, the same in the late afternoon. I have a small secure garden which is padlocked at the back. I don't leave my dog unsupervised outside and just let him out for the toilet. I work upstairs in the spare room - so I just put the dogs bed next to my desk where he likes to sit. He will go down and get water when he needs it.

About: I've grown up with dogs and have years of hands-on experience caring for them, from daily walks to adapting to their unique personalities and needs. Since losing our much-loved family dog last year, I’ve really missed the companionship and joy they bring. I'm calm, kind, and confident handling all sorts of behaviours—nothing surprises me! I’d love to give other dogs the same love, attention, and care I gave my own. I work Monday to Friday, 9:30–5:30, but I work from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays — so I’ve got plenty of flexibility to do drop-ins or have your pet stay with me. I’m happy to work around your needs and routine! I’m also free most weekday evenings, and I can often accommodate weekends, overnight stays, and even longer holiday stays. I have a secure garden for the dogs to use as well as a different walking routes nearby. As well as a car to come and collect/drop off if needed. I always take the time to understand each animal’s routine, preferences, and any specific needs. Whether we’re out on a walk or relaxing at home, I keep a close eye on their behaviour and surroundings, making sure they feel comfortable and secure. I’ll never let a dog off-lead unless I have full permission and trust, and I provide regular updates so you know they’re in safe, caring hands.

About: I love going for walks with dogs. I am a full time nurse that loves to spend her days off outside with four legged friends. I am very caring and patient. Reliable and trustworthy. I work shifts at the hospital so my availability is random but always have 3 days off a week. I can be off during the week or at weekends. I would only care for dogs at my own house on my days off, so the dog will be with me all the time. As is my day off I have full availability on the day

“I would 100% recommend Izzy to care for your pet, she absolutely loves animals and showered her own dog with so much love and care. Izzy is responsible, fun, happy and loyal, everything you would need when trusting someone to care for your pet, I am sure she would pay attention and listen to your requests and needs and deliver the right care.”

Ruth V.
“Ruth has been looking after my dogs for over 20 years. She was actively involved in all aspects of care for my dog Maisey when we were house mates, she was co-owner really. She always took her on much longer and more fun walks than I did! My current dog is a bit of a handful at times. He's a big lad with a very strong pray drive when out and about. I have 100% confidence in Ruth's ability to manage him. Having had dogs all her childhood it shows in her confidence with dogs. She sticks with any rules that you have set. I know lots of other people who have asked Ruth to look after their dogs and feel the same as I do. She often just takes them for walks because she wants to, not because the owners need it. She's 100% a doggy person!”
