About: I have long experience looking after my own animals over the years, dogs, cats, rabbits, chickens, ducks and guinea fowl. I have lived in remote places and had to adapt as situations arose. Now returning to Oxfordshire I want to broaden to looking after animals when people need the help of someone with common sense and a love for animals. I am currently at home and therefore very flexible, I do work away from home periodically and am looking for a job that takes me outside in the fresh air and don't mind the weather. I am happy to get out and about with your pet as well as be at home. I'm just as happy sitting and keeping company as I am doing food, hygiene, medicines and visits out. I don't have any pets in my current home so am able to be fully focused on yours.

About: I have grown up around pets my whole life. My parents use to train hearing puppies for the blind and I grew up with two dogs, one who sadly passed away at 19 and one who is currently 14 (both border terriers). I work 9-5 during weekdays and have free weekends. I love looking after animals so I am happy to travel to look after your pet/pets! I work remotely so I am available most of the time (except Thursdays). I am more than happy to come and stay for a day, walk at any time or just pop in for a little bit. I look after my own dog and use to dog sit regularly.

“Nyah was friendly and communicative from the beginning. We met briefly before her visit to look after Artemis, and I could instantly tell Nyah cares about animals. She looked after Artemis exactly as we discussed and sent me a message so I would have peace of mind. I will be coming to Nyah again when I need someone to care for Artemis.”

About: I have grown up with dogs and have been looking after dogs since 2020. I can take them overnight, and the longest I had a dog was for 5 weeks when the owners had a family emergency outside the UK. It is now a very normal routine for me. I work from home 5 days a week, and have been looking after dogs since 2020, usually for friends and family. When I am out and about, I take them with me. I have a 2 bed house, and a fenced backyard, and I normally go out for walk, weather depending, 2 - 3 times a day. My daughter (18) loves to play ball and there is a huge park 1 min away from where I am, so that is handy. For pet owners home, I will follow as instructed.

“Lauren went above and beyond to take care of my cat Joey. He was a little poorly during one of the visits and Lauren took fantastic care of him which gave me peace of mind whilst I was away from home. Thank you so much Lauren for your help over the weekend. I would 100% recommend Lauren to everyone considering cat/dog sitting services xx”

About: I have had pets in the family since I was a child, and love being around all breeds of dogs. I have experience volunteering at the local Dogs Trust charity, have been involved in puppy training and looking after various pets of our family & friends. Myself & my husband rescued a mixed breed dog from Hungary in 2021 called Jennifer, after she was found in a park giving birth to 9 puppies. If boarding at our home, your dog will have Jenny as a playmate. However if you prefer, I can offer walks & drop ins solo. I’m currently working as a part-time flight attendant. This means that I won’t have regular availability during the week, however the dates I mark as available will be my rest days from travelling, so will be around for the entire day to care for your dog. We have a completely fenced garden with bi-fold doors which in summer can be left open for your dog to wander in and out of the garden as they choose/to take toilet breaks. Our recuse dog Jennifer will be great company for your dog, providing a play date at the same time as your dog being looked after. Our home routine is already based around dog life, so yours will fit right in!

About: Extensive and secure garden, full access to the house. Great countryside walks in all directions! I spend all day everyday caring for animals and believe in attention to detail and a lot of fun ☺️ Currently having the summer off from university and focusing on looking after lovely dogs! I grew up around animals, and am very proficient in animal care. Walks in the countryside every morning and evening to suit dog's needs. We have great access to rivers, forests and beautiful hills. I have a very large wall garden (photographed) with electric gates. Very secure. Dogs have access to the whole house and access to the garden at all times. Smaller dogs or dogs with different preferences can do less and have constant supervision. Over the past few years I have fostered dogs, had hound puppies in for summer training, cared for elderly and disabled dogs; as well as full time care of my lovely collie.

“Absolutely fantastic, makes having to go to the office much less stressful and my Bertie loves you”

“I have just returned from a 2 night stay away. Alina looked after Malka by drop in visits for 2 days which involved coming by twice a day, feeding the cat, setting up the cat feeder each time, and dealing with any 'messages' in the litter tray. My cat is curious and fairly chilled but does not tolerate affection so all of this had to be done with no reward from the cat I'm afraid. I've come back home to fine a perfectly happy and content Wonderful pusscat;;^well fed, relaxed and happy and fussy (with me - sorry Alina!). Clearly Malka has been well looked after and I can see that Alina has followed all of my instructions regardi ƁVVV ng food and care to the letter. She also sent me lots of photos while I was away! A+ Would definitely hire again, if she would have us ?”

About: Being a veterinary nurse gives me the skill set to care for those pets with additional needs, both medical and behavioural. I have experiance with puppies and kittens, from hand rearing to puppy parties. I enjoy care of senior patients with mobility issues or those needing that extra TLC. I work as a veterinary nurse still but on reduced hours so it will be around my hours. When house sitting I will not be taking on nursing shifts at the same time so I can give your pets my full attention. Emmy kindly agreed to do a meet an greet earlier in the week, which really helped to put our minds at rest as our dogs are both giant and a bit of a handful! But Emmy did a wonderful job keeping them company and relaxed whilst we were away and keeping us informed which we greatly appreciated. From the moment Jessica arrived I could tell she was a genuine animal lover. She followed all of my instructions to the letter ensuring my dog's routine was not disrupted in any way and with them both eating two different types of foods, she was so good with them and making sure they ate separately.
