About: I've grown up with dogs all of my life. I can't remember a time when I didn't have a pet and I've always been available to look after family, neighbours and friends' animals. I'd love the chance to look after your pooch so you can relax and take some time out, knowing they're having a lovely holiday of their own. I've grown up with Rottweilers, German Shepherds, and Spaniels so I'm used to high-energy working dogs but honestly, I love all dogs and will make sure they're well looked after. I've been used to giving medication, dealing with dogs who have separation anxiety or who have issues with other dogs so if your dog needs a specific routine etc, please just let me know. While I do have a dog of my own, he stays with my parents and their dogs when I'm pet-sitting so your pet will have my undivided attention. I work remotely from home so I can be really flexible to ensure I fit around your pet's needs. They will take priority and have my full attention. I have a friendly and sociable cocker spaniel but he will stay with my parents and their dogs while I'm pet sitting. I'm a DBS-checked professional and will treat your home with the utmost care and respect. I'll be sure to follow any instructions set out and make sure your pet feels safe and follows their usual routine.

“I could not have wished for anyone better than Jon and Jennifer. They were very good with Mario, taking him to lots of new places, and sending me photos, videos and messages. Jon is very knowledgeable and also have me some great tips for Mario (he's a rescue). I will absolutely be asking them to care for Mario again, he was so happy, and my home looked like they hadn't been here at all. Thank you both so much, and hope to see you both again.”

About: Hi, I'm a 35-year-old registered nurse with a love for all animals and years of hands-on experience caring for a variety of pets. Over the years, I've looked after or had cats, large dogs, horses, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, and fish. I currently share a three-year-old British Shorthair cat, so I understand how important it is to have a trusted, loving person caring for your pet while you're away. I treat every animal in my care with the same love and attention I give my own. My background in nursing means I'm reliable, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure, caring and compassionate. I've provided pet and house sitting services in both Australia and the UK, and I pride myself on being clean, tidy, conscientious, and respectful of other people's homes. I'm also happy to provide regular photo and video updates so you can relax and enjoy your time away knowing your pets are safe and happy! Please feel free to reach out—I'd love to help Currently I am working bank triage nursing, so this is very flexible and I can work from home if needed, available all times of the day. Currently unable to provide services in my own home, But I am safe and trusted, I have a current DBS check for work and had a police check completed for pet caring in Australia in the last three months.

About: I have looked after many pets in my time from friends to family pets and would like to do it more frequently as a lover of animals. I am out of education and just saving up for Uni in September! I work at a restaurant and a coffee shop but only 16hrs a week so have plenty of free time. As i look after mostly dogs, obviously dependent on the age and breed i will take on daily walks or runs even in parks or beaches near. As my shift schedules are short i spend a lot of time hanging out and playing with pets. I am also extremely active so can made due with whatever needs they may have.

“Ruth is amazing this is the first time we have left our 2 dogs with a sitter as we always have family look after them. Ruth came and met the dogs and was so king and gentle with them they liked her straight away, when we left them Ruth took the time and care with Bailey who is the anxious one and he was absolutely fine without us. Ruth left the house spotless and even done my washing she is a star and I will definitely been asking her to stay with my doggies again Thankyou so much ❤️”

About: I love animals and animals love, me and my mum rescued a swallow once and still have many memories of it. She went from injured as a baby to being able too fly away. Pet care fits in to my weekly routine as I work many different shifts and I only work part-time. I live nearby a massive park and in a neighbourhood full of pets. I care for pets to the clients request and I have always had pets so I would care for my clients pets as if they were my own aswell.

“Sophie stayed for 2 nights to watch my dog Bert. I was a little nervous, not only because I’ve never met her but because Bert has many quirky habits and behaviours 🙈 however Sophie obviously has experience with dogs who are a handful as he seemed well loved and I received regular updates when away. Would love to use her again and would recommend highly.”

“We're really impressed with Karl. He was so calm with our excitable Alfie. He was very thorough and professional in what he needed before house and dog sitting. He sent us the loveliest pictures of Alfie on his walks. He left the house clean and tidy. Would be very happy to use him again”

“Jenna was absolutely amazing!!! can’t recommend Jenna enough for looking after your pets. I am so over protective of my two dogs and always worry leaving them with someone new especially as one of my dogs is nervous and reactive on walks. Jenna sent updates and my dogs looked so happy even my nervous dog was playing with Jenna and looked happy as Larry!! I think this shows how amazing she is with animals how she can get the most anxious of dogs feel comfortable and manage walks that can sometimes be reactive. Both my dogs looked happy as ever with Jenna. I was also late back home due to car issues and Jenna offered to come back in the evening to take the dogs out for their walk which was so helpful. If you’re worried about finding a sitter if you have a dog that is anxious or fearful Jenna is your girl! my dogs toddled to the guest room this morning looking for you so I know you’ll be missed but we will deffo be booking Jenna again for any other trips. An Absolute star. Xx”

“Our dog, Roma, is an anxious rescue who is initially very wary of people. Marcia took this in her stride and knew how help Roma feel at ease. This in turn meant that we enjoyed a full day out in London knowing that Roma wasn’t stressed and was being looked after at our home. Marcia sent us lots of updates including pictures of Roma relaxing which we really appreciated. We also really appreciated the initial ‘meet and greet’ that Marcia suggested. We knew from that moment that Marcia was a responsible pet sitter. We’d highly recommend Marcia, and I’m already looking at her availability for a future sit.”

“Ella was extremely professional and put us as well as our pet at ease. Daisy loved spending her evening with Ella, we will definitely be booking again soon :)”

Kirsty C.
“Kirsty is one of the most dedicated, organised and caring people that I know. We've been using Rover for years and have had some excellent hosts for our dog, and I would absolutely put Kirsty up there with the best of them. She has a wonderful Spaniel called Milo, who gets on great with our border collie whenever they get together, and his training and gentle nature really reflect well on Kirsty as a loving, responsible owner. If we didn't live hundreds of miles away from each other I would book Kirsty as a Rover sitter without a second's hesitation!”

Kathleen T.
“Kate is absolutely wonderful! We have a few days in the week where work and children’s after school clubs mean our days are non stop. Kate is always available to take our very energetic 2 year old Labrador for long walks to keep him happy! Couldn’t ask for more, and Teddy is always shattered in the evenings.”
