About: My Experience 🐾 I have experience caring for dogs in a home environment, including looking after dogs while their owners are at work, taking dogs on walks and staying overnight at people’s homes while they are away on holiday. Although I haven’t worked professionally as a pet sitter before, I have been trusted by friends, family and people I know to look after their dogs, and I have been paid for some of these stays and visits. I really enjoy spending time with dogs and have experience making sure they are happy, comfortable and well cared for while their owners are away. I understand that every dog is different, so I’m happy to follow their usual routine, including walks, feeding, playtime, company and any other care they need. I also know how important it is for owners to feel reassured when they’re away, so I’m always happy to keep you updated with photos and messages. I’m now looking forward to offering this service more regularly through Rover and building relationships with new dogs and their owners. 🐶❤️ Hi, I’m Zoe! I’m a friendly, caring and reliable person who has always loved being around animals. I’m naturally patient and affectionate, and I really enjoy getting to know each dog’s individual personality — whether they’re energetic and playful, or prefer a quieter day filled with cuddles and attention. Although I’m new to Rover, I’m not new to caring for dogs. I’ve looked after dogs for people I know while their owners have been at work or away on holiday, including staying in people’s homes to look after their pets. I’ve also regularly walked dogs and been trusted to make sure they’re happy, safe and well cared for while their owners are busy. These experiences have given me a good understanding of how important it is to follow a dog’s usual routine and make them feel comfortable and settled. I currently work from home full-time, which makes pet care a great fit for my lifestyle. Your dog will have plenty of company throughout the day, with time for toilet breaks, walks, playtime, cuddles and lots of attention around my working hours. I’m also available outside of work and at weekends, depending on the service and booking. I can offer dog walking, drop-in visits, doggy day care and boarding, and I’m happy to work around your dog’s individual routine and needs. I’ll always make sure I understand their feeding, walking, sleeping and general routine before looking after them. I know leaving your pet with someone else requires a lot of trust, so I’ll treat every dog in my care as if they were my own. I’ll keep you updated while they’re with me and will always prioritise their safety, happiness and comfort. I’m really looking forward to meeting some new four-legged friends and hopefully becoming someone you and your dog can rely on! 🐶❤️ Your dog’s safety and happiness will always be my priority. I want every dog in my care to feel comfortable, relaxed and at home, with plenty of love, attention and reassurance. I’ll take the time to get to know your dog, their personality, routine and individual needs, and I’ll always follow any instructions you leave for me. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, so I’ll keep you updated and make sure you know how they’re getting on while they’re in my care. As I work from home, your dog will have lots of company throughout the day, as well as plenty of opportunities for walks, playtime and cuddles. I’ll always treat your dog as I would want someone to treat my own — with patience, kindness and lots of care. ❤️🐶

About: I have taken care of many dogs since I was about 7, when we got our first rescue dog (King Charles Cavalier x Cocker Spaniel). I have always loved dogs and wanted to be involved in taking care of our pets. Later on we got two more rescues (Border Collies) and I had to learn how to make them feel safe and happy. Over the years I have spent lots of time taking care of them and taking them on walks. I have also fostered a dog while looking for its new home and taken care of my neighbours and friend’s dogs while they are away. I am currently working part time but I am looking to make this my full time job so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. My current job is also very flexible so I am able to work around it easily. Everyone has their own rules for their pets and I would like to help you stick to those rules or training for your dog so whatever your pet needs let me know and I’m happy to help.
About: I have always had a passion for animals, which has led me to gain extensive experience caring for dogs of all ages, breeds and personalities. I currently have 6 dogs of my own, with a variety of breeds and ages. I have raised each of them from puppies, giving me first-hand experience of caring for dogs throughout all stages of their lives. This includes puppy care, socialisation, training, adolescence, adult dogs and older dogs. Having multiple dogs with different personalities has also taught me how important it is to understand each individual dog and adapt their care to suit their specific needs. I run my own dog walking and training business Sophie’s Canines & Co, so caring for animals is my career and something I am genuinely passionate about. Through my business, I work with a wide range of dogs on a daily basis and provide dog walking, training walks, 1:1 training sessions, pet sitting and drop-in visits. I regularly work on areas including recall, loose-lead walking, obedience, impulse control, socialisation and gundog training. I also have experience working with dogs with different behaviours, confidence levels and training needs, allowing me to adapt my approach to suit each individual dog. I have plenty of experience providing care in dogs’ own homes, allowing them to remain in a familiar environment and maintain their normal routines while their owners are away. Alongside my practical experience, I have a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management, which I achieved with a Distinction. My studies gave me a strong understanding of animal biology, behaviour, welfare, health, nutrition, handling and husbandry. I am also DBS checked, fully insured, Level 3 First Aid at Work trained and a higher distinction in Level 4 Canine First Aid. I understand that every pet is different, and I pride myself on providing patient, reliable and individualised care. Whether your dog needs long walks and enrichment, a consistent routine, extra support or simply lots of company and cuddles, I will always put their welfare and happiness first. ❤️🐶 Pet sitting is a big part of my everyday life as it is part of my full-time job. I own and run my own business, Sophie’s Canines & Co., where I provide dog walking, training and pet care services. Because working with animals is my full-time career, I’m able to fit pet sitting around my regular schedule and dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets I care for. I’m used to planning my days around the needs of the animals in my care and ensuring they receive the attention, exercise and companionship they need. For house sitting, I’m able to stay in your home and work around your pets’ usual routines, helping them feel comfortable and settled while you’re away. When caring for pets in their owner’s home, I always aim to keep their routine as normal and consistent as possible. Before any booking, I always offer a free consultation so I can meet you and your pets, get to know them and understand their individual needs and routine. This also gives you the opportunity to ask any questions and make sure you feel completely comfortable leaving your pets in my care. I take the time to understand everything your pet needs, including their feeding times, exercise routine, medication, behaviour, preferences and any specific instructions you have. I’m happy to provide walks, playtime, training, feeding, cuddles and companionship, as well as giving pets space when they need it. I understand that staying in their own home can be much less stressful for pets, as they are surrounded by familiar sights, smells and routines. I’ll also make sure your home is kept clean and treated with respect throughout my stay. Most importantly, I provide regular care, attention and reassurance so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pets are safe, happy and well cared for. 🐾❤️

About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for a wide range of pets. I studied Animal Care at college, completing both Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications, which gave me a solid understanding of animal welfare, behaviour, health, and handling. I also spent four years working at Redwings Horse Sanctuary, where I cared for horses and donkeys, where I learned the importance of providing consistent, compassionate care tailored to each animal's individual needs. This experience strengthened my confidence in handling animals, recognising signs of illness or stress, and maintaining high welfare standards. Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up and into adulthood, I've cared for dogs, cats, rats, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs, so I'm comfortable looking after pets with all kinds of personalities, needs, and routines. While I don't currently have pets of my own, I regularly spend time with my best friend's adorable sausage dogs, Dolly and Flossy, and her ragdoll cat, Nancy. I help care for them whenever needed, whether that's feeding, walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping them company while my bestie is away. One of the reasons I've joined Rover is because there's definitely a pet-shaped hole in my life! I genuinely love being around animals and understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. I'll treat your pets with the same care, patience, and affection that I would my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I work full-time Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:30pm, which means I can provide care before and after work during the week. I'm available for morning visits before work for feeding, toilet breaks, walks, and companionship, and then have plenty of time in the evenings for longer walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, and any other care your pet needs. My weekends are generally much more flexible, allowing me to dedicate even more time to pet care and ensuring your pets receive plenty of attention and company. I'm organised, reliable, and committed to sticking to your pet's usual routine as closely as possible, helping them feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I understand that trusting someone with both your beloved pet and your home is a big decision, and I take that responsibility very seriously. My priority is always to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away by following their usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication (if required), and plenty of affection. When caring for pets in an owner's home, I will always treat your property with the same respect and care that I would my own. I'm reliable, tidy, and considerate, and I'll make sure your home is kept secure and left exactly as I found it. I believe good communication is important, so I'm happy to provide regular updates, photos, and messages for extra peace of mind while you're away. With my Animal Care qualifications, four years of experience at Redwings Horse Sanctuary, and a lifetime spent caring for animals, you can be confident that your pet will be in caring, capable hands. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel relaxed, happy, and reassured throughout the entire experience.
