About: I am an animal lover with over 20 years experience looking after cats and dogs. I have experience looking after both puppies & kittens, as well as more senior dogs and cats. I am a freelance designer running a non-profit and work from home which means I can be really flexible around what your pet needs as I can work from anywhere and on my own schedule. This means I’m able to play with your pet, and take dogs for long walks during the day. As a pet owner myself, I know how difficult it can be to leave them whilst you are away. So I always make sure to send regular updates and photos. In addition to this, I am DBS checked and am fully insured to provide care for your pet. I have worked as a cat sitter on Cat in a Flat for the last year, with numerous repeat customers and very happy reviews. I am also happy to look after other smaller pets such as fish, rabbits, gerbils, hamsters and mice.
5. Sophie S.
“I have two older rescue cats who needed sitting whilst I was on holiday, as well as in the middle of a house move at the same time. So very unsettled pussycats. Sophie was awesome. From the booking, to the meet and greet, and the cat sitting itself, she was kind and very attentive to their needs. All instructions were followed brilliantly, and she kept careful note of how they both seemed every day. I got daily updates following each visit and some rather lovely photos. Sophie dealt with everything without fuss, including having to clear up daily poo from a very stressed Mr Odin cat. She took care of my fur babies as if they were her own.”
6. Olivia M.
“Olivia has looked after our elderly cat very well. Everything was taken care of and regular reports back with photos to set our minds at ease. We came home to a happy cat. Would thoroughly recommended her.”
7. Allison W.
“Allison has looked after my dogs whenever I go away for over 3 years and they always seem happy and healthy when I come home. I always recommend her to and friends or family looking for a pet sitter/walker.”

About: I have a degree in Animal Management, with hands on experience with many animals. I've worked as a dog walker/sitter before, so I have experience with a wide range of dogs from puppies to senior dogs. I now work full time for an animal supply company, where I've gained a qualification as a Animal Health Advisor. At home I have a very lovely 2 year old Labrador retriever and a very sweet 1 year old cat. Happy to help with cats and dogs. I'm available in the mornings before work at 8am and after work from 6pm. I have more flexibility on Wednesdays and Sundays as these are my days off. I have my own dog and two cats. I regularly look after my friends and family's pets as they know I have experience and they know my love for all pets.
9. Marcia W.
About: I've owned a dog since I was 10 years old and have loved dogs from day one. I'm a recent graduate of an MSc in Biodiversity and Conservation, so my passion for animals is deep in all aspects of my life. I have owned a dog, Pogo, up until January of 2018 when he unfortunately passed away, so having the opportunity to be around dogs again is something I'm delighted to be able to do. What I can offer: I make sure to keep up to date on information about behaviour and training so as to keep all the doggies I meet happy and safe! I can also help to teach basic obedience and reinforce positive behaviours. I've trained several rescue/foster dogs and have a good amount of experience. Sit, stay, lie down, leave it, recall, dropping and not jumping up are examples I can help to teach, as well as a few tricks such as shake, roll over, and basic agility training. I can also offer other pet care. I have experience caring for other pets such as cats, birds, and reptiles, so I can pet sit extra pets if required. With a full time job I will be able to do pet care mornings and evenings, as well as on my days off (however these are not regular in a week). This does allow me to house sit for long periods, however, if the dog can be left for a work day. I'll strive to keep your pets comfortable and entertained, making sure their needs are met and that they're getting all the fuss and cuddles they need.
10. Liv G.
“Liv and Amy are a fun, loving duo. I’ve never met a two who love their dog so much! I’d trust them in a heart beat to care for my pets. In fact they have. They really helped us over the festive period and cared for our very nervous cat Misty.”
11. Johann G.
“Johann really came to our rescue with last-minute drop-in visits! Had a pleasant meet & greet on short notice, and he took care of our pets per our requests 🙏😊 Thank you Johann!”
12. Karl K.
“Karl is clearly an experienced dog owner and sitter, and was excellent with my dog Fret, who has a problematic fear of strangers. He knew exactly how to behave with her at first meeting and she very quickly came to trust him. He has helped me enormously during a tricky time having to leave Fret at home, and was always quick to respond to messages—I would trust him with any dog, he really is a pro. Thanks Karl!”
13. Emerald C.
“Emerald has been looking after my dogs (and cats) ever since I can remember, she is incredibly attentive and skilled in what she does. She has a real passion for helping and going above and beyond where possible and has yet to disappoint. Emerald has always tailored her approach around me and my pets needs before her own even at a moments notice she is there willing to help. Pipp and Pat (brother and sister Greyhounds) absolutely love her and their walks, she explores different routes and wilderness with them so that they don't get bored of the same scenery all the time. I truly couldn't recommend Emerald enough. (Except for perhaps selfish reasons as I want her all to myself!)”

About: I have had experience with all types of animals. I own cats, dogs, horses and ponies so nothing fazes me. I have experience dog / cat sitting, as well as dog walking. I’m empathetic and understand reactive dogs as well. I have a full time office job, meaning some days I have long shifts but on the other days I finish early. Free all weekends. I have a large fenced back garden, and 1 friendly cockapoo male called Charlie! We have a large playing field opposite our house to run about on.
15. Liv C.
“Thank you Liv for standing in at very short notice and doing a wonderful job of looking after the cats and chickens...they were all very happy when we came home...will definetly be in touch again - Thanks so much!”
16. Rachel M.
“Rachel has been a pet owner for decades. She helped to raise and train a working red coat Labrador. I have never met such a well behaved, trust worthy dog. He truly is a delight to be around and to walk. A few years ago I was looking after some friends children and their dog, The dog was disobedient, wee'd where it wanted to to and was a nightmare to walk, so I called Rachel for advice. She checked in with me over the next few days, made additional suggestions, and, to my complete astonishment, I had the dog walking to heal, no longer pulling at the leash, wee'ing outdoors, and a 50% improvement in behaviour when called ( he would run and hide under beds). I shared what I had learnt with the family, and a few of them were able to take this on board. Rachel is kind and gentle with animals.”

About: Having grown up on a farm I have loved and cared for dogs in some form for all of my life. I believe I also have a particular affinity with them and am able to read their emotions and energies and act accordingly. I have recently returned to the UK, after living in a rural community in Portugal. Here I was the go-to dog sitter (as seen in pictures) as I got a reputation for caring for the dogs so well. Now I am back in the UK and looking to spread my love to the canine friends living here. I live on my families farm and contribute to work here as it is needed. I also have some online projects that I work on when possible but my schedule is largely very flexible. We have lots of space which is quite a luxury. The main perimeter of the farm is not fenced but there are fields that are fenced and there are large spaces to be on for some engaged play.
18. Dawn M.
“I have known Dawn for many years and during that time, she has looked after my elderly cat countless times. Dawn is very trustworthy and loves giving Smudge lots of fuss and attention meaning I always return home to a very happy cat. Dawn also goes above and beyond by giving me updates and photos of Smudge during my time away which I find is a very nice touch. I would highly recommend Dawn to anybody looking for an animal loving pet sitter.”

About: I have always been a dog lover growing up and, in my teenage years, bought a beautiful cocker spaniel called Maisie. However, since buying my own house and working as a teacher, Maisie is living her older years with my parents. Because we can't have our own dog, my partner and I love to have the company of dogs whenever we can! We have a few dogs who we regularly look after, and love looking after new dogs who we come across on Rover. Being a teacher I have the joy of several weeks off during the year, so during these times I love getting out and taking dogs for long walks on the many walking routes by my house, and love the company during the day. We also care for dogs at weekends and can do during the week too. Our favourite spots spent with our cared for dogs are the beach, the nearby fields and our sofa for cuddles! Please just get in touch if you'd like your dog(s) to stay with us or if you have any questions!
