About: I've been a pet owner my entire life and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, particularly large, high-energy breeds that require plenty of exercise and attention. I'm very active and enjoy long walks, outdoor adventures, and keeping dogs engaged and happy. I provide a high standard of care, treating every pet as if they were my own. I have recently moved back from South Korea where I have been an international school teacher for many years. I currently tutor online and am looking for ways to enjoy time in different cities/ have a change in pace of life! I have lots of time to care for pets during my daily schedule. I currently have no pets so want to use my energy and love to care for others. Due to a adventurous pet dog as a child, I am aware of the challenges that can be faced with energetic, big dogs so I will use this experience to keep your pets safe.

“Imogen was lovely with my cat Taco and made her feel super comfortable. She updated us every day on Taco's progress, and I was grateful to find a very happy cat awaiting me on arrival home! Thank you!”

“Chloe did a 30 min drop in for Maggie at quite last minute! So I’m very grateful she managed to come over and help out without much notice. Maggie has just been spayed two days ago and Chloe was great helping put her onesie back on for her and keeping her company but calm whilst she was here, and sent lots of photos to reassure me too!”

About: [IMPORTANT TO NOTE: I will be unavailable for bookings in Norwich from 25th August 2026, as I am moving back to Cheltenham. I will be available for bookings in Cheltenham from 15th September 2026]. Hi! I’m Zara, a 22-year-old from Cheltenham. I have 10 years of pet experience; I was a dog walker during my undergraduate degree, and I have a dog who lives with my parents (Lily, a 12yo blonde cockapoo). I miss Lily so much and would love a furry friend in the house again. I’m currently completing my Master’s degree in Prose Fiction at UEA, and thought I’d start up my Rover account again for a little extra money towards my studies. I have now completed all my lectures, and the only other responsibility I have will be my dissertation period. Otherwise, I am completely free to look after your friend! I’m free for walks/sitting any time during the day. I don’t currently offer boarding services as I live on-campus; I can walk your dog, or look after them in your home! I live next to multiple absolutely beautiful parks I can take your dog to during the day :)

“Brilliant pet sitter, went above and beyond to look after my cat and the house, flexible to changing plans and just a lovely person. Would definitely recommend and will be rebooking for future trips away. :)”

“Gina is ace ! She took care of our cat Queenie for a week and a half. Excellent communication, and updates daily. Queenie often experiences separation anxiety, but she seemed to adore Gina so much it was like we never left. Whatever she did was magic. Would rebook her in a heartbeat.”

About: I got my first dog when i was 10 and have never been without a pet since and im now 35 - absolutely love animals. Now, as a mum if 3, i have 3 children who carry my love for animals too. Weve had puppies, dogs, guinea pigs and now a tortoise. We are unable to keep animals full time due to work commitments and school so thought we could give our love to your pet. We are a busy family monday to friday day time however evenings and weekends are free and we love helping people and love animals so thought this joined our 2 loves together. We live in a quiet village surrounded by feilds and local walks. We have big parks for dogs to enjoy. We have a tortoise as a pet but hes as simple as can be.

About: With over five years of experience in looking after all kinds of animals as well as growing up in a house full of animals I am now available to look after furry friends whilst back home from university. Whilst my experience is mainly in the realms of dogs, cats, horses, hamsters and guinea pigs I have also looked after rabbits, birds and even a tortoise! I have had plenty of work experience through my degree in veterinary practices allowing me to handle medications as needed and keep an eye on any more senior animals as well, with which I aim to give owners some peace of mind as I completely understand how daunting it can feel when a pet has health issues and to trust someone else to monitor these. I currently work an online job for my university student union, which is part time. This means I have plenty of time to check in on furry friends and keep ontop of their daily schedules! Other than that I would ideally be going to the gym however if one of your furry friends needs 24/7 care it goes without saying that it would always be the priority! I will be able to take your dog out and about to local dog parks or for quieter walks through the lovely Norfolk countryside! With a car and full clean driving licence I would be more than happy to take your pets to safe local areas or walk them from your home. Which ever you would prefer and they would be more comfortable with!
“I was so pleased to have Ann visit and feed my cat whilst I was away for a couple of days. Communication was easy and I felt confident that my cat was left in good hands, which indeed she was. Thank you!”

“Harry was amazing from start to finish looking after my girl lexi. Kept me up to date with walks and pictures which was lovely to see. I can’t thank him enough for the help and time he spent with Lexi. She sure seemed to love the time. Harry will 100% be my first choice for dog care in the future and will be passing his name to any of my friends who require the same. Again thank you Harry been a pleasure!”

Jack has been absolutely amazing! A genuinely lovely guy, my dog instantly warmed to him (not always the case!). I felt totally at ease knowing Jack was dropping in and that he would look after and care for my pup as I would. Jack has gone out of his way to provide excellent service and I really couldn’t praise him enough! From one very happy dog owner and a super contented pup!

Look for sitters who highlight multi-pet expertise or check for verified reviews from other South Norfolk pet parents with similar pet households.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in South Norfolk choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
