About: I've been a pet owner my entire life and have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, particularly large, high-energy breeds that require plenty of exercise and attention. I'm very active and enjoy long walks, outdoor adventures, and keeping dogs engaged and happy. I provide a high standard of care, treating every pet as if they were my own. I have recently moved back from South Korea where I have been an international school teacher for many years. I currently tutor online and am looking for ways to enjoy time in different cities/ have a change in pace of life! I have lots of time to care for pets during my daily schedule. I currently have no pets so want to use my energy and love to care for others. Due to a adventurous pet dog as a child, I am aware of the challenges that can be faced with energetic, big dogs so I will use this experience to keep your pets safe.
About: I have taken care of many dogs since I was about 7, when we got our first rescue dog (King Charles Cavalier x Cocker Spaniel). I have always loved dogs and wanted to be involved in taking care of our pets. Later on we got two more rescues (Border Collies) and I had to learn how to make them feel safe and happy. Over the years I have spent lots of time taking care of them and taking them on walks. I have also fostered a dog while looking for its new home and taken care of my neighbours and friend’s dogs while they are away. I am currently working part time but I am looking to make this my full time job so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets. My current job is also very flexible so I am able to work around it easily. Everyone has their own rules for their pets and I would like to help you stick to those rules or training for your dog so whatever your pet needs let me know and I’m happy to help.
About: Experienced, knowledgeable and mature but fit animal lover. I have grown up with dogs and always had pet dogs from puppies for life. I am experienced with all ages of dogs. I give a reliable, high quality service to clients and a high standard of care to day visiting/boarding pets. I am semi-retired with totally flexible hours and able to work from home. I live in Norwich close to the City with a totally enclosed back garden and enclosed gated front drive/garden. My dog is walked 3-10 miles daily. Pets are accommodated downstairs only, they do not come to bed with me! I have a separate room where I can accommodate sleeping crates if required. I have one dog, a Springer Spaniel and she sleeps in a crate. I can work to any reasonable routine/care plan to ensure that your dog’s routine is kept as normal as possible, this avoids unnecessary anxiety for your pet. I am able to offer a wide range of walks locally in Eaton Park, at Whittlingham, Earlham Park, UEA, Marston Lane etc. For dogs that are happy to travel I can do beach, river and woodland walks.
About: I enjoy seeing other dog owners out and about with their canine friends and as I dont have a dog due to being a cat household I'd like to be with them by default ! I can do weekends and most evenings and some lunchtimes by arrangement so happy to be flexible around my work pattern and pet care needs I am happy to dog or cat sit in other homes but not my own. Am trustworthy and reliable and happy to travel where needed

About: I have been caring for pets for years. My own, as well as those of my family, friends and neighbours. I am an easygoing, easily adaptable and friendly individual who is enjoying working outside no matter the weather. I can also adapt to special requirements your pet may have. I am available every day 9 am to 9 pm. If you require staying with your pet for night I am also open for that. I will accommodate to whatever you and your pet need. Let me know the details about your pet and house and I will make sure for your pet to be happy and well taken care of.

About: With over five years of experience in looking after all kinds of animals as well as growing up in a house full of animals I am now available to look after furry friends whilst back home from university. Whilst my experience is mainly in the realms of dogs, cats, horses, hamsters and guinea pigs I have also looked after rabbits, birds and even a tortoise! I have had plenty of work experience through my degree in veterinary practices allowing me to handle medications as needed and keep an eye on any more senior animals as well, with which I aim to give owners some peace of mind as I completely understand how daunting it can feel when a pet has health issues and to trust someone else to monitor these. I currently work an online job for my university student union, which is part time. This means I have plenty of time to check in on furry friends and keep ontop of their daily schedules! Other than that I would ideally be going to the gym however if one of your furry friends needs 24/7 care it goes without saying that it would always be the priority! I will be able to take your dog out and about to local dog parks or for quieter walks through the lovely Norfolk countryside! With a car and full clean driving licence I would be more than happy to take your pets to safe local areas or walk them from your home. Which ever you would prefer and they would be more comfortable with!
About: I work a 9-5, but have a car and am happy to provide early morning and late afternoon/evening care, as well as being free on the weekends. I would provide excellent care to any pets I visited, making sure that any routines and comforts of theirs are provided for. I am aware that some pets are more sociable and cuddly, and others need their space, and I will be very respectful of their needs. Time management and organisation are key for me, so you wouldn’t need to worry about my time-keeping or forgetting to visit your pet. Our pets are part of our families, and I know how important it is that you trust the person they are being left with.
About: Hi, I’m Dori and I’ve been caring for friends’ and neighbours’ dogs and cats for over 8 years. I love getting to see every animal’s personality, and I’m committed to making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for while you’re away. I’m attentive, patient, and dependable, whether it’s daily walks, playtime, feeding, or giving lots of snuggles, I treat every furry friend like they’re part of my own family. I’m happy to keep you updated with photos, so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. I’m excited to meet and provide the same reliable, caring service that my friends and family have trusted me with for years! ☺️ I’m a Speech and Language Therapy student at UEA- I’m especially reliable for weekday afternoons, evenings for walks. If you require housesitting it’s worth checking in, but October-July I spend long days at uni. I’m a lot more flexible during uni breaks. I treat every pet as if they were my own. I make sure they get plenty of exercise, attention, and mental stimulation. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, medications, and any special instructions from their owners!

“Brilliant pet sitter, went above and beyond to look after my cat and the house, flexible to changing plans and just a lovely person. Would definitely recommend and will be rebooking for future trips away. :)”

I will be available for bookings in Cheltenham from 15th September 2026]. Hi! I’m Zara, a 22-year-old from Cheltenham. I have 10 years of pet experience; I was a dog walker during my undergraduate degree, and I have a dog who lives with my parents (Lily, a 12yo blonde cockapoo). I miss Lily so much and would love a furry friend in the house again. I have now completed all my lectures, and the only other responsibility I have will be my dissertation period. Otherwise, I am completely free to look after your friend! I’m free for walks/sitting any time during the day. I don’t currently offer boarding services as I live on-campus; I can walk your dog, or look after them in your home! I live next to multiple absolutely beautiful parks I can take your dog to during the day :)

Jack has been absolutely amazing! A genuinely lovely guy, my dog instantly warmed to him (not always the case!). I felt totally at ease knowing Jack was dropping in and that he would look after and care for my pup as I would. Jack has gone out of his way to provide excellent service and I really couldn’t praise him enough! From one very happy dog owner and a super contented pup!

Yes, absolutely! Many sitters on Rover are experienced in caring for multiple pets simultaneously, whether you have a pack of dogs, a clowder of cats, or a mix of both.
Look for sitters who highlight multi-pet expertise or check for verified reviews from other South Norfolk pet parents with similar pet households.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in South Norfolk choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
