About: I've worked with animals in a variety of settings, including hospitals, kennels, rescues and zoological collections, and I hold qualifications in Animal Care, Animal Management and Animal Welfare. Over the years I've cared for dogs with a wide range of personalities, energy levels and needs. I understand that every dog is different, and I focus on providing safe, reliable and enriching care tailored to the individual dog. As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to trust the person looking after your pet. Whether your dog needs a fun walk, companionship while you're away, or a little extra patience and understanding, I'll treat them with the same care and attention I'd want for my own. I'm happy to arrange a meet-and-greet before any booking so that you and your dog can get to know me and feel comfortable. Before any booking, I like to arrange a meet-and-greet so I can learn about your pet's routine, personality, likes, dislikes and any specific requirements. When caring for pets in their own home, I aim to keep their normal routine as consistent as possible. I follow your instructions carefully for feeding, medication (where appropriate), exercise, enrichment and any household preferences. I treat every home and pet with respect, keeping safety and wellbeing as my priority. I provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away. With my background in Animal Care and Animal Welfare, I understand the importance of recognising stress signals, maintaining a safe environment and providing positive, compassionate care for every animal.

Since we have two indoor cats, we keep guest dogs in our main living areas and can use secure separation when needed to ensure everyone feels entirely safe and relaxed. When caring for your pets in your own home, my absolute priority is maintaining their normal, comforting routine. I will follow your exact instructions for feeding, medication, and sleep setups. For dogs, I love taking them out for their favourite local walks and ensuring they get plenty of outdoor exercise and stimulation. For cats and smaller pets, I dedicate focused time to interactive play or quiet companionship, depending on their personality. About: I have taken care of many dogs since I was about 7, when we got our first rescue dog (King Charles Cavalier x Cocker Spaniel). I have always loved dogs and wanted to be involved in taking care of our pets. Later on we got two more rescues (Border Collies) and I had to learn how to make them feel safe and happy. Because of this, I am not offering boarding services at this time, but I am committed to providing exceptional in-home pet care and reliable dog walking services. Due to a recent change in life circumstances I now find myself able to revisit one of my passions and one I undertook for a number of years of walking and caring for your dog. Since 2009 I have walked, cared for and boarded dogs for a large number of family members and friends. Breeds I have cared for and walked over a significant period of time include Bull Mastiff, GSD, Golden Retriever, Working Cocker Spaniel, Daschunds and Patterdale Terrier. Between 2011 and 2015 I was a volunteer dog walker for my local RSPCA Branch near Dereham in Norfolk and was lucky enough to walk a huge variety of breeds regularly including huskies, mixed breed rescues, Staffies, Labradors, puppies and many more! I have home boarded Daschunds and a Patterdale Terrier for family members. I love the outdoors and am happy to brave it in all weathers to keep your furry family member happy! I love dogs but am sadly in a situation where I cannot own one of my own but will love your pet like it belongs to me. I am currently working part-time building a business so can dog walk flexibly depending on yours and your beautiful furry family member's needs during the week.
