Teodora has been absolutely excellent! She very kindly met Daisy beforehand and Daisy was instantly Teodora’s best friend! I cannot thank Teodora enough for dropping in to see Daisy, it has given us real comfort knowing that someone has kind and caring as Teodora was looking after her ☺️ will definitely be booking again.

About: I'm an experienced dog owner with a background in caring for dogs as well as cats, gerbils, (and a budgie!) plus fostering for an animal rescue and short-notice dog care. I'm certified in Canine First Aid (2025) and equipped with a full animal first aid kit at home. In previous years I was Team Leader for Norwich RSPCA volunteers, and did several years of conducting home checks - animal welfare has been a priority for me for decades! I'm reliable, compassionate, and adaptable in providing safe, loving care for pets of all kinds I'm fortunate to live 3 minute walk from small woods in Norwich; a lovely place for walks with lots of interest for dogs on their daily walks. I'm happy to take all dogs, including seniors who may need special care. I'm currently working part time, mostly from home and have lots of flexibility for spending time with pets and walking dogs! Thurs-Sun best days for boarding, but can usually do dog care on other days with enough notice. I walk my dog twice a day. I have a fenced back garden with trees, grass and available shade on hot days. My own dog loves the company of others! In the house there are three beds available for all dogs who visit. We have toys and lots of opportunities for play. Dogs are allowed upstairs & are welcome in every room in the house except my bedroom.

About: Hi! I’m a caring and reliable pet sitter and dog walker with a lifelong love of animals. I grew up surrounded by pets, including dogs, cats, chickens, rabbits, and hamsters, so caring for animals has always been a part of my life. I genuinely enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I’m also passionate about dog training and love incorporating fun brain games, enrichment activities, and positive reinforcement into my time with dogs to keep them happy, engaged, and mentally stimulated. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, companionship, or attentive care at home, I’ll treat them as if they were my own and make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, and care. I am currently studying remotely so I am able to be as flexible as you need, I can fit around your schedule! It's so important that animals have predictability, which is why I'm happy to do whatever your pets need to keep them happy while you're away. I am responsible and will treat your space respectfully, ensuring your animals are kept to their normal routine. Just let me know what you need and I will do it!

My dog Spike is quite nervous and needs a slow, careful introduction to new people. From the very start, Electra knew exactly how to approach him—with patience, calm energy, and experience. It was clear that she understands dogs deeply, especially those like Spike who need a little extra care. Electra has had many rescue dogs of her own, so she’s well aware of the unique challenges they can bring. That experience really showed in how quickly she built trust with Spike. They bonded beautifully, and I could see how happy he was to see her! She’s reliable, kind, and truly someone I feel completely safe leaving Spike with. When I came home, he looked calm, content, and very well cared for. I’m so grateful to have found someone like Electra!

About: I have always been obsessed with dogs from since I can remember and we got a family dog of our our just over 4 years ago. Murphy (the cocker spaniel) is now such a loveable member for our family! He loves long walks in the park/ forests. I grew up having hamsters. And would often look after family and friends dogs for them. Since moving to Norwich for work (and moving out of my family home) I’m missing constantly living with my furry friend. I go back as much as I can to visit him but I thought why not combine a love of mine to care for some more furry friends! I work as a youth mental health worker so I have full DBS and I drive! I am available for boarding, walks and check ins on weekends (Friday to Sunday). Mondays I work from home so I can do drop ins or walks in my lunch break. I can also do any evenings from 5:30pm. Message me for £15 off any booking for new rover customers! I am currently not offering for pets to stay at mine as I rent. But would love to in the future when living arrangements suit it!

About: Hello to all! I've owned pets for more than 15 years. I communicate with pets better than human beings I guess 'Kukku' the Dachshund was with me for 11 years and we had to say goodbye on her 12th birthday. 'Rooney' is Kukku's brother and he still thrives to this day, happy and healthy. 'Whiskey' the Pug is the new addition to the family. He's 2 year old, energetic and naughty little dog boss in my home. I consider my pets my family, so my pet care goal is to always make them at home and look after them as my own with lots and lots of love. My availability will be updated in the calendar Please check it before making any bookings. I'm always happy to help so don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. Will be taking them for walk and love to play with them. I get to be around animals so much and they're my favourite ever!

About: I’ve been caring for my dog beagle for over 7 years and truly love it. I’m also a mum, so being patient, attentive and responsible is just part of who I am. My dog recently had surgery, so I understand how important gentle care, routine and emotional support are. Because of that, I’m especially mindful of dogs who may be sensitive, recovering, older or simply need a calmer approach. I would genuinely love a walking companion for regular strolls. Every dog has their own personality and energy level, and I always adapt to make sure they feel safe and happy. You can expect reliability, clear communication and someone who will treat your dog like family. Currently I’m not working, which gives me flexibility during weekdays and some weekends. I’m available for regular walks, one-off bookings and consistent weekly schedules. I value routine and reliability. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully, including feeding routines, medication if needed and walking preferences. I’m attentive outdoors, avoid unsafe areas and never let dogs off lead without clear permission.

About: I work a 9-5, but have a car and am happy to provide early morning and late afternoon/evening care, as well as being free on the weekends. I would provide excellent care to any pets I visited, making sure that any routines and comforts of theirs are provided for. I am aware that some pets are more sociable and cuddly, and others need their space, and I will be very respectful of their needs. Time management and organisation are key for me, so you wouldn’t need to worry about my time-keeping or forgetting to visit your pet. Our pets are part of our families, and I know how important it is that you trust the person they are being left with.

About: Hi, I'm August, a lifelong dog lover with years of experience caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes! I’ve had dogs since I was 12 and welcomed my own pup into my life two years ago. Since then, I’ve been committed to learning more about training and behavior by taking classes, which has deepened my understanding of dogs' needs. In addition to caring for my own dog, I’ve had the pleasure of watching other people's dogs in both my home and theirs. I’m reliable, organized, and always punctual, ensuring your dog gets the attention, love, and care they deserve. I’m an active person who loves spending time outdoors, so whether your dog needs a brisk walk, playtime at the park, or just a little extra company, I’m happy to be there for them. Let’s make sure your dog feels right at home, even when you're away! Pet care easily fits into my daily routine as I work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility. I’m able to accommodate different schedules for pickup, drop-off, and walks throughout the day. This allows me to spend quality time with your pet, ensuring they get the exercise, attention, and care they need without rushing. Whether it’s regular walks, playtime, or sticking to feeding and medication schedules, I can adapt to what works best for you and your dog. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I prioritize their comfort, safety, and well-being. In my home, I create a welcoming, secure environment where your dog is treated like family, ensuring they stick to their normal routines for feeding, walks, and playtime. When I care for pets in your home, I maintain consistency by following your instructions closely, whether it's feeding schedules, medications, or exercise. I make sure your dog gets plenty of attention, outdoor fun, and companionship, while keeping your home clean and respected throughout the stay.

About: After my dog Lucy (a Patterdale Terrier and Jack Russel cross), who was part of the family for many years, passed away, I still loved dogs but wasn't ready for another dog of my own, so I began to dog sit. First I cared for Buster (2 year old Daschund/Jack Russel cross), then for Alfie (a 4 year old cocker spaniel), Pierre (a 6 year old wire haired Visla), and Betti and Jeff (Bernese mountain dogs). All of these dogs had their own personalities and needs. For example, Buster, who was a lot smaller than Betti and Jeff, needed a very different type of walk (he preferred chasing after sticks). I am used to adapting to the needs of the dogs I am taking care of, and will use this experience to bring the best care for your pets. I have done a mix of dog walking, and house sitting with all of these dogs. I'm currently working part-time while I study for my master's degree (also part time) so, other than the days I'm scheduled to work or go to a seminar, I have plenty of time to give to your dogs. I am always available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays all day, though I am also available on Thursdays until 16:30 and on occasional weekends. Safety and trust are my priority when working with anyone's pet, and I always ensure that I have met the dog, with their owner, in a relaxed environment before I begin the sitting services. My family dog came from a dogs home and carried some nervousness from that, so I know it can be stressful for dogs to have a stranger in their home. To help with that, it is always my goal to preserve your pets routine and keep them engaged and comfortable while I house-sit. I will also always treat your property with respect.

We made the absolute best choice with Clare! The kindness and professionalism that she has shown with our cat is outstanding. She has kept us updated about our cat every day. She spent a good 30 mins feeding him, cleaning his litter and giving him all the attention that he needed. She is very knowledgeable and I would not hesitate to book her again. Clare is the person to book if you would like to have peace of mind while you are away. She is very punctual (and we all now that cats love routine!) and she will take amazing pictures of your cat too!! She is sort of a cat whisperer and our cat adored her. We are looking forward to book her again.

Yes, absolutely! Many sitters on Rover are experienced in caring for multiple pets simultaneously, whether you have a pack of dogs, a clowder of cats, or a mix of both.

Look for sitters who highlight multi-pet expertise or check for verified reviews from other Norwich pet parents with similar pet households.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Norwich choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a key safe. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalised codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in a flat, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or lift etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
