“I would 100% recommend Gemma and her family. Gemma responded really quickly to my request, invited us over, listened and understood our tricky spaniel and his anxieties. They were not phased at all and Chester loved their dog straight away and they were off in the garden running around. They took him on adventures to the park and also for a lovely beach day, and sent lots of photos. I honestly could not have felt happier leaving him anywhere. Such a lovely friendly family and their children loved Chester and made a fuss of him too.”

“Sylvia and her husband did a fantastic job of looking after my Pointer Hudson and put my mind at rest before leaving him with them for 12 days. Sylvia obviously loves dogs and done everything possible to make sure Hudson was happy and settled during his stay, I received twice daily pictures and updates of them having walks and fun together, Sylvia even contacted me if she was unsure whether Hudson would be happy to do certain activities like go to the small lake area close by. If you are looking for a loving and truly caring person to look after your pet I honestly don’t think you will find anyone better that Sylvia and I shall definitely book her next time I have to go away. 10 stars from us.”

Mosby is a high-needs cat who takes pills, insulin jabs, and was recovering from an oral operation. Lauren came over twice to learn Mosbys routine and gave plenty of updates throughout her stay. Mosby tends to get separation anxiety and can be a difficult cat to care for, but Lauren was a pro and I was so happy to come home and find Mosby so at peace :) Lauren is by far the best pet sitter we have had in Norwich and I would absolutely recommend her services”

My husband and I both work from home full time, meaning dogs in our care are rarely left alone and enjoy consistent company throughout the day. During the week, our home is particularly calm as our two children (aged 6 and 8) are at school. About: I have grown up with dogs especially my whole life. From the ages of 3-12 I assisted my mum with her dog kennels. Even now I assist my boyfriend (gay) with his 50 dogs as and when I stay over. I also have experience with cats, my mother currently has 3 cats 1 of which does belong to me and I adore her. I know the strain it can place when at work or if you're looking to go away for a couple of days. I am not a trainer or a vet, but I do have extensive experience and I’m more than happy to take any pups on walks or look after them in your absence. I am currently working full time in the city, however my firm are very flexible about working from home. I only ever go into the office when it is absolutely necessary or something needs doing. Even if it is something that needed to be done urgently, I work in a dog friendly office so can always pop into office with a pup and there will not be any issues. Having dogs at my place is quite difficult at the moment as I am renting in a share house. This is due to change in the next few months. However, I can have smaller dogs and cats for the time being until I move. I enjoy walking and going to the park myself, so it’s nice to also take a dog so I’m not alone while doing this. I tend to be very tidy so if I’m staying at your house I will ensure it is kept clean whilst also having fun with your pet. I'm not really that strict when it comes to my own place, so quite happy to have pets sleeping on my bed with me but I understand rules are rules if not, and don't want to introduce any bad habits.

About: Hello! I’m a life long animal lover living in Norwich with my dog and 2 cats. I looked after friends and neighbours dogs and cats throughout my childhood. My dog was challenging at first as she had very severe separation anxiety and then we found out she had epilepsy! We’ve been very lucky as through training she can now be left alone just fine and she outgrew her epilepsy. We’ve definitely gained some experience in dog training and care through this though. I have I now work from home so I have the flexibility to provide whatever care your pets need whether that be staying in your house with them, boarding them at my home or drop in visits (within close proximity to NR2 if during the day) if you’re only out for the day. My house has a large and fully fenced garden and while we may be in the city we are within walking distance from Sloughbottom Park and Sweet Briar Marsh, the latter of which you’d have no idea you’re so near Norwich! Please get in touch with any questions and I look forward to speaking with you! I’m work remotely with very occasional travel to the office so dates can be arranged around this. I already walk my dog twice a day so any adjustments to fit another dog into our routine would be minimal and my dog would be happy to go on a 3rd walk if that’s what yours needs! I have a fenced large (for the city centre) garden, an incredibly friendly female dog and a cat that pays no notice of dogs and another who loves them. The former is skittish so your dog would need to be the sort who will ignore or be nice to cats and not play/chase, even if it is in a friendly way, she won’t see it like that!

Everything in Charlotte’s home and garden is set up to be dog friendly and she was very flexible about delivery and pick up times. During his stay, Charlotte sent me regular updates and pictures- he was clearly having a fab time. Duggie came home a very chilled and happy boy and a lovely touch was that Charlotte sent him home with a little diary of his holiday with her. I stick to their usual routine as much as possible and take note of any specific needs, whether that’s a nervous dog who needs a bit more patience or a high-energy dog that needs proper handling on walks. In an owner’s home, I’m respectful of their space and follow all instructions around feeding, exercise, and care. I make sure pets are secure at all times—checking leads, gates, and surroundings. At my home on the farm, there’s plenty of space, but pets are always supervised in a safe environment, I am very aware of the ability dogs and cats may have as I’ve seen my puppy jump a big gate . Overall, I just aim to keep pets comfortable and well looked after while and for their owners to feel comfortable and confident their pets will be safe

About: I’ve looked after dogs all my life!! I’ve grown up around dogs and I love them!! I’ve looked after a variety of different dogs from big to little!! I love walking as well so this fits in well!! I have learnt how to play, feed and look after dogs! I’m currently in my third year of university and work part time (Saturdays only) so have a lot of spare time! I’d love to help out wherever I can so with my spare time I’d love to look after pets!! I know how to feed dogs and I know how to crate a dog if needed. Anything like a postman that can make a dog bark I can distract them with play! I’ve grown up with animals so know the fundamentals of looking after them in a home environment!!
About: I love a long walk, and run a lot in my spare time so have the energy for energetic dogs that need a good distance covered each day. I work from home for a software company remotely mon-fri, and my hours are flexible here. So I'll be able to fit my work around when you need a sitter. Weekends are also available, please enquire. I have 2 cats at home, so would not be able to bring a dog or cat here, but caged animals would be OK. We don't let out cats upstairs, so we can keep other animals up there with me whilst I'm working in their cage, out of reach of the cats.

“Sylvia and her husband did a fantastic job of looking after my Pointer Hudson and put my mind at rest before leaving him with them for 12 days. Sylvia obviously loves dogs and done everything possible to make sure Hudson was happy and settled during his stay, I received twice daily pictures and updates of them having walks and fun together, Sylvia even contacted me if she was unsure whether Hudson would be happy to do certain activities like go to the small lake area close by. If you are looking for a loving and truly caring person to look after your pet I honestly don’t think you will find anyone better that Sylvia and I shall definitely book her next time I have to go away. 10 stars from us.”
