Experts in snuggles and belly rubs, we always guarantee your doggo will be the centre of our attention. I work from home most days, so have a pretty flexible schedule! With the days getting warmer, I love to work from my garden, so your pet and I can enjoy some sunbathing and fresh air! 🌳 I have a fenced garden and two lovely cats who are the chilliest boys in the world. I keep their nails trimmed so no worries about any accidental scratches either 💅 They are indoor/outdoor so will probably be out keeping your fur baby company outside!

“Sylvia and her husband did a fantastic job of looking after my Pointer Hudson and put my mind at rest before leaving him with them for 12 days. Sylvia obviously loves dogs and done everything possible to make sure Hudson was happy and settled during his stay, I received twice daily pictures and updates of them having walks and fun together, Sylvia even contacted me if she was unsure whether Hudson would be happy to do certain activities like go to the small lake area close by. If you are looking for a loving and truly caring person to look after your pet I honestly don’t think you will find anyone better that Sylvia and I shall definitely book her next time I have to go away. 10 stars from us.”

About: I have always been obsessed with dogs from since I can remember and we got a family dog of our our just over 4 years ago. Murphy (the cocker spaniel) is now such a loveable member for our family! He loves long walks in the park/ forests. I grew up having hamsters. And would often look after family and friends dogs for them. Since moving to Norwich for work (and moving out of my family home) I’m missing constantly living with my furry friend. I go back as much as I can to visit him but I thought why not combine a love of mine to care for some more furry friends! I work as a youth mental health worker so I have full DBS and I drive! I am available for boarding, walks and check ins on weekends (Friday to Sunday). Mondays I work from home so I can do drop ins or walks in my lunch break. I can also do any evenings from 5:30pm. As for boarding, my flat has a balcony and is on the 4th floor so isn't ideal for pets that are used to outdoor space at home or puppies who haven't been potty-trained yet. It would be perfect for indoor cats! I have ventilators on my windows so can keep them shut for your pet's safety and am currently adding a chicken wire barrier to the balcony to avoid accidents. I also have an electric fan for hot weather. I don't mind having pets on furniture or in my bed if that's what they are used to. Who doesn't love a midnight cuddle with their critter?😸 I am happy to take your pet outside for walks and toilet breaks as often as they need (the stairs are great exercise!)

About: I have taken care of many dogs since I was about 7, when we got our first rescue dog (King Charles Cavalier x Cocker Spaniel). I have always loved dogs and wanted to be involved in taking care of our pets. Later on we got two more rescues (Border Collies) and I had to learn how to make them feel safe and happy. Over the years I have spent lots of time taking care of them and taking them on walks. About: I've taken care of a variety of different animals since I was a young child. I've looked after animals at all stages of their life. I'm familiar with different temperaments. I enjoy training all animals tricks for treats. I taught my late cat to sit, jump, spin around, and paw on command. I'm in part-time education, which only requires my morning hours. After 12pm I'll be avaliable to give your pet all the cuddles and attention it deserves!:) Whilst I have morning lectures, I enjoy early morning sunrises, which ensures I will be up and awake to feed, walk and chat with your fur baby! Depending on how much alone time your pet enjoys, I would be able to cater my schedule to their needs! My schedule mainly involves uni work, so this would consist of me either working from home to keep your pet company, or going into uni to offer it some space to itself! I enjoy walking, and have a van to travel in, and it would be a privilege to have your furry angel to join me for those walks! I'd be happy to walk any animal, given its comfortable wearing a lead! (And a harness for the feline friends!) I don't have a garden unfortunately, but I am only a 5 minute walk to jeamond dene, and heaton Park, where many zooming can take place!
About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for a wide range of pets. I studied Animal Care at college, completing both Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications, which gave me a solid understanding of animal welfare, behaviour, health, and handling. I also spent four years working at Redwings Horse Sanctuary, where I cared for horses and donkeys, where I learned the importance of providing consistent, compassionate care tailored to each animal's individual needs. This experience strengthened my confidence in handling animals, recognising signs of illness or stress, and maintaining high welfare standards. Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up and into adulthood, I've cared for dogs, cats, rats, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs, so I'm comfortable looking after pets with all kinds of personalities, needs, and routines. While I don't currently have pets of my own, I regularly spend time with my best friend's adorable sausage dogs, Dolly and Flossy, and her ragdoll cat, Nancy. I help care for them whenever needed, whether that's feeding, walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping them company while my bestie is away. One of the reasons I've joined Rover is because there's definitely a pet-shaped hole in my life! I genuinely love being around animals and understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. I work full-time Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:30pm, which means I can provide care before and after work during the week. My weekends are generally much more flexible, allowing me to dedicate even more time to pet care and ensuring your pets receive plenty of attention and company. About: After my dog Lucy (a Patterdale Terrier and Jack Russel cross), who was part of the family for many years, passed away, I still loved dogs but wasn't ready for another dog of my own, so I began to dog sit. First I cared for Buster (2 year old Daschund/Jack Russel cross), then for Alfie (a 4 year old cocker spaniel), Pierre (a 6 year old wire haired Visla), and Betti and Jeff (Bernese mountain dogs). All of these dogs had their own personalities and needs. For example, Buster, who was a lot smaller than Betti and Jeff, needed a very different type of walk (he preferred chasing after sticks). I am used to adapting to the needs of the dogs I am taking care of, and will use this experience to bring the best care for your pets. I have done a mix of dog walking, and house sitting with all of these dogs. I'm currently working part-time while I study for my master's degree (also part time) so, other than the days I'm scheduled to work or go to a seminar, I have plenty of time to give to your dogs. I am always available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays all day, though I am also available on Thursdays until 16:30 and on occasional weekends. Safety and trust are my priority when working with anyone's pet, and I always ensure that I have met the dog, with their owner, in a relaxed environment before I begin the sitting services. My family dog came from a dogs home and carried some nervousness from that, so I know it can be stressful for dogs to have a stranger in their home. To help with that, it is always my goal to preserve your pets routine and keep them engaged and comfortable while I house-sit. I will also always treat your property with respect.
About: I grew up around dogs and cats and always took an opportunity to care for my friend’s/family dogs whenever I could. I absolutely love spending time with animals whether it’s a walk in a forest, coffee in town, cuddle on the sofa, little training session or playing with their toys. I finally got a dog on my own last year from a puppy, cocker spaniel Daisy who is 1.5 years now 🥰 I currently work from home majority of the time, so my schedule is very flexible. I drive and can get to your home if needed, take dogs on a field/forest walk as well! I have a fenced garden in new development, it’s big enough for dogs to have a little play and run outside. It’s a quiet area, with a lot paths to walk, close to lovely fields and small forests for dogs to enjoy. I will always adhere to any specific rules or requirements around your pet’s safety and schedule. If needed I can separate dogs in the house, if they don’t get on with Daisy for any reason.

About: My first dog was a rescue puppy who I trained myself. Since then I’ve become the go to pet sitter for all my friends and family, it’s a genuine pleasure. I currently work part-time, and I’m keen to spend this new found free time looking after animals. “Sylvia and her husband did a fantastic job of looking after my Pointer Hudson and put my mind at rest before leaving him with them for 12 days. Sylvia obviously loves dogs and done everything possible to make sure Hudson was happy and settled during his stay, I received twice daily pictures and updates of them having walks and fun together, Sylvia even contacted me if she was unsure whether Hudson would be happy to do certain activities like go to the small lake area close by. About: Myself and husband Alan were raised with family dogs and once married we got our first family pet Billy who was a golden Labrador. He was loved by all due to his temperament and behaviour around everyone and we were devastated to lose him aged 13. After 18 months we missed the companionship we always had with Billy and chose Mabel the labradoodle who was 12 weeks when she came to live with us. She became our 3rd child and was cherished from the start. Sadly we lost her aged 12 years and 6 months 2 years ago. Both our grown children now have dogs which we regularly look after when they go away. We both love having them for ‘sleepovers’ and love walking with the ‘grand’ dogs as they both fit into our family unit. Due to commitments we now have with 4 grandchildren we are not in a position to have another dog full time but miss the company and regular walks. We would love to have the opportunity to help people out on a short term basis. I work part time and look after grandchildren for one day. Alan works full time. Looking after a dog on a short term basis on the days we can where we are completely free to will mean we can give regular exercise & love. We have an enclosed garden for safety & security. All dogs will have full access to our house at any time they are here with us.
