Cara took really good care of our puppy Nala for the day. She listened and took into account Nala’s care needs and was really happy when I picked her up, would definitely recommend and consider rebooking in the future.

About: We’re lifelong dog lovers and take a considered, personal approach so each dog receives plenty of individual attention. My husband and I both work from home full time, meaning dogs in our care are rarely left alone and enjoy consistent company throughout the day. During the week, our home is particularly calm as our two children (aged 6 and 8) are at school. We share our home with our own 3-year-old dog, who is relaxed, friendly, and well socialised with other dogs. Our children have grown up around dogs and are gentle and respectful, understanding when a dog needs space. We are best suited to dogs who are comfortable in a family environment and around children. Our home is spacious, with several quiet areas where dogs can rest if they prefer their own space, as well as the option to stay close to us in our home office. We also have a secure, fully fenced garden for safe outdoor time. Sleeping arrangements are flexible and tailored to your dog’s usual routine. We follow a calm, consistent daily routine, including at least one walk a day, and we’re happy to maintain your dog’s normal feeding, medication, and care. Ahead of booking, we ask owners to share any special requirements so we can provide thoughtful, personalised care. We’re always happy to arrange a meet and greet to make sure it’s the right fit for everyone. We both work from home full time with our own rescue dog who we take for daily walks, so always looking for more furry company! As already mentioned, you can rest assured your dog is in safe hands - our garden is fully fenced. We can also go for on-lead walks for your peace of mind.

Ruth done a great job looking after Marley for the day, Normally Marley is very excited to see me when I come home but at Ruths when I went to pick her up she barely took any notice of me as she was so happy where she was. Ruth is very kind and gentle and obviously loves and knows how to look after dogs and I would highly recommend her. I have booked an overnighter already.

About: I absolutely adore animals since I know myself and Rover has been one of the best things I could do for myself and also other people. I have been surrounded by animals since I was a child and I find life empty without them. Being self employed allowed me to meet lots of great pets and that gave me a lot of joy. I currently work from home and I can definitely fit a walk or visit around my schedule. I can also work remotely from any location. I can only have small dogs in my house and because I don’t have a garden they have to be trained or pretty well behaved.

About: Hi, I'm August, a lifelong dog lover with years of experience caring for dogs of all shapes and sizes! I’ve had dogs since I was 12 and welcomed my own pup into my life two years ago. Since then, I’ve been committed to learning more about training and behavior by taking classes, which has deepened my understanding of dogs' needs. In addition to caring for my own dog, I’ve had the pleasure of watching other people's dogs in both my home and theirs. I’m reliable, organized, and always punctual, ensuring your dog gets the attention, love, and care they deserve. I’m an active person who loves spending time outdoors, so whether your dog needs a brisk walk, playtime at the park, or just a little extra company, I’m happy to be there for them. Let’s make sure your dog feels right at home, even when you're away! Pet care easily fits into my daily routine as I work from home, which gives me a lot of flexibility. I’m able to accommodate different schedules for pickup, drop-off, and walks throughout the day. This allows me to spend quality time with your pet, ensuring they get the exercise, attention, and care they need without rushing. Whether it’s regular walks, playtime, or sticking to feeding and medication schedules, I can adapt to what works best for you and your dog. Whether caring for pets in my home or yours, I prioritize their comfort, safety, and well-being. In my home, I create a welcoming, secure environment where your dog is treated like family, ensuring they stick to their normal routines for feeding, walks, and playtime. When I care for pets in your home, I maintain consistency by following your instructions closely, whether it's feeding schedules, medications, or exercise. I make sure your dog gets plenty of attention, outdoor fun, and companionship, while keeping your home clean and respected throughout the stay.

About: Hi there! Thank you for considering me to take care of your beloved pet. Having grown up on a farm, I've been caring for furry friends all of my life and absolutely adore doing so. I have approximately 20 years of experience cat-sitting and 12 years with dog-sitting for friends and family. This includes kittens and puppies so I'm extremely confident caring for both. If you choose me as your sitter, I can guarantee I'll give them 100% of my love and attention, and keep them safe and happy whilst you're away. I understand how hard it can be to leave your pets, but please rest assured that I make it my highest priority to care for, protect and love your furry friend with all of my heart. I'm currently not working so I'm very flexible and have all the time in the world to care for your furry friend. I am happy to board, house-sit and walk your pet. I know how important it is to trust that your home is being looked after too. So, whilst staying with your pet, I will ensure that your home is kept clean and tidy, and promise to leave it the way that I found it. I swear to take extra care of your home and your critter as if they were my own. I'm very used to "puppy-proofing" rooms from years of practice! As for boarding, my flat has a balcony and is on the 4th floor so isn't ideal for pets that are used to outdoor space at home or puppies who haven't been potty-trained yet. It would be perfect for indoor cats! I have ventilators on my windows so can keep them shut for your pet's safety and am currently adding a chicken wire barrier to the balcony to avoid accidents. I also have an electric fan for hot weather. I don't mind having pets on furniture or in my bed if that's what they are used to. Who doesn't love a midnight cuddle with their critter?😸 I am happy to take your pet outside for walks and toilet breaks as often as they need (the stairs are great exercise!)

About: I have grown up with dogs especially my whole life. From the ages of 3-12 I assisted my mum with her dog kennels. Even now I assist my boyfriend (gay) with his 50 dogs as and when I stay over. I also have experience with cats, my mother currently has 3 cats 1 of which does belong to me and I adore her. I know the strain it can place when at work or if you're looking to go away for a couple of days. I am not a trainer or a vet, but I do have extensive experience and I’m more than happy to take any pups on walks or look after them in your absence. I am currently working full time in the city, however my firm are very flexible about working from home. I only ever go into the office when it is absolutely necessary or something needs doing. Even if it is something that needed to be done urgently, I work in a dog friendly office so can always pop into office with a pup and there will not be any issues. Having dogs at my place is quite difficult at the moment as I am renting in a share house. This is due to change in the next few months. However, I can have smaller dogs and cats for the time being until I move. I enjoy walking and going to the park myself, so it’s nice to also take a dog so I’m not alone while doing this. I tend to be very tidy so if I’m staying at your house I will ensure it is kept clean whilst also having fun with your pet. I'm not really that strict when it comes to my own place, so quite happy to have pets sleeping on my bed with me but I understand rules are rules if not, and don't want to introduce any bad habits.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, rabbits, and guinea pigs, giving me hands-on experience. I’m a caring, attentive sitter who ensures pets feel safe, happy, and loved. I’m currently working full time from home, so I am able to be around pets and care for them throughout the day! I live with my girlfriend, Abi, who also is a huge cat and dog lover. I have a supervised fenced garden and multiple parks nearby which are perfect for walking your pets! I typically take pets out for 3 walks per day, morning, lunchtime, and evening and can offer regular comfort breaks.

I came back to a calm pooch which was lovely to see as he has struggles with separation a little from being a rehomed dog. Will be reaching out to Imogen again for future sits.

Lillia and her family were amazing — so friendly, caring, and easy to trust. We’d never left our 1‑year‑old staffy in someone else’s home before, so we were a bit nervous, but the meet‑and‑greet she arranged made all the difference. Blue felt at home right away! We loved receiving regular photo updates, and it really helped us relax knowing he was happy and well looked after. We’d absolutely recommend Lillia and will definitely be returning customers!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Norwich on Rover is £28.75 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 257 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Norwich. About 84% of Norwich sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Norwich commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in East of England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
