I absolutely love my job as dog sitter and pet carer in Norwich. I look after many different types of dogs, and cats. I have cared for 35 dogs over the last 4 years and many cats. I listen to you carefully to find out what your dog needs and manage each dog accordingly. I will give your dog lots of love and attention and plenty of exercise according to their age and ability. They are part of our family when they stay. We have one Bengal cat (Tatty) in our house who is very used to different dogs coming in and out. I normally arrange a meet and greet first so you can meet me and see where your dog will be staying. I do have a 6 year-old son, so your dog will need to be good around children, although they would never be left alone. My son is very used to dogs and cats and is gentle with them. Unlike other dog sitters/walkers I usually only have one dog at a time. If for any reason I have another dog I will let you know before you book. This approach also means your dog has more personalised care and attention. I'm happy to take on two dogs from the same household.

Our dog Lana had a week long holiday with Sophie & family, while we were away on holiday. We felt confident that she was being well cared-for. And we really appreciated the reassuring updates and responsive communication while we were away. Sophie is always straightforward to deal with and it feels relaxed. Lana seems relaxed there and likes that she is the only dog there, as she can get nervous around other dogs. We highly recommend Sophie! 🐶
Sophie and her family were amazing in looking after our dog whilst we were on holiday, providing plenty of exercise, a friendly home and daily updates so that we had complete peace of mind. We will not hesitate to request Sophie’s services again - Fenna misses you already!! 🐾
Buddy seemed to have a great time with Sophie. As he is a rescue dog he struggles when first meeting new people but he really seemed to settle in nicely. We will definitely be happy to leave him with Sophie again (that’s if she would have him 🤣!!)
Scout loved his time with Sophie and her family. Sophie kept me updated with photos and texts to show me how Scout was getting on. Very happy.

Schedule
I work flexibly from home so am able to pet sit very easily. Your dog will have up to 3 walks a day - morning, afternoon and evening (if staying with me for the night). I have Eaton Park and Heigham Park nearby but I like to explore new routes and walks in and around Norwich.

Safety, trust & environment
I love walking so your dog would get plenty of long walks. I also have a long garden at home for ball throwing. Customer service is a priority so I will follow your instructions. I do have a Bengal cat so your dog would need to be ok with cats if staying overnight (daytime is fine to keep them separate). My cat is friendly with dogs.

Morning, afternoon and evening walks often going to different parks for new smells and adventures! I have a long garden so we can also play ball.
