Experienced, kind animal carer
I'm an experienced dog owner with a background in caring for dogs as well as cats, gerbils, (and a budgie!) plus fostering for an animal rescue and short-notice dog care. I'm certified in Canine First Aid (2025) and equipped with a full animal first aid kit at home. In previous years I was Team Leader for Norwich RSPCA volunteers, and did several years of conducting home checks - animal welfare has been a priority for me for decades! I'm reliable, compassionate, and adaptable in providing safe, loving care for pets of all kinds I'm fortunate to live 3 minute walk from small woods in Norwich; a lovely place for walks with lots of interest for dogs on their daily walks. I'm happy to take all dogs, including seniors who may need special care.

Marnie was looked after very well by Andrea and had a companionable day with her lovely dog Estelle. And she looked after us very well too. We arrived on her doorstep as two hot sweaty messes after coming on foot in sweltering sunshine to drop Marnie off before heading for our train. Andrea gave us a lift to the station which was exceptionally kind of her. Marnie remembered Andrea’s house as soon as we turned into the road and was thrilled to be returning. She will be our first call whenever we need doggy day care in the future.
Andrea is really lovely and kept me updated all the time on how Bruce was doing. Would highly recommend.
Andrea was warm and welcoming right from the start of his visit. Charlie settled in very quickly and was so at home when we returned that he took himself off to the kitchen and fell asleep. We will be seeing Andrea again very soon. X
I got so lucky when searching for a sitter to take care of my dog while I was on holiday. Andrea was professional, prompt, communicative and went the extra mile in everything- she even provided something I forgot! She treated my dog like her own and made me feel so at ease knowing he was being well taken care of. Can't recommend enough!

Schedule
I'm currently working part time, mostly from home and have lots of flexibility for spending time with pets and walking dogs! Thurs-Sun best days for boarding, but can usually do dog care on other days with enough notice. I walk my dog twice a day.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a fenced back garden with trees, grass and available shade on hot days. My own dog loves the company of others! In the house there are three beds available for all dogs who visit. We have toys and lots of opportunities for play. Dogs are allowed upstairs & are welcome in every room in the house except my bedroom.
Pets
A typical day
We will explore the little woods near my house (a short walk away) and spend time in the garden, playing with a ball or other toys. We can do treats or kibble via Kong for stimulation
