I stumbled upon Andrea's services and I can't believe how lucky I got! She treated my dog like her own and went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and well cared for. She sent updates frequently, provided special food, long walks, and lots of affection. ❤️ I was able to completely relax and enjoy a holiday because of how wonderful and ease she made me feel. Can't recommend enough!

Our young dog had a lovely time with ruth. He really enjoyed the company of other dogs. There is a nice sized garden for him to run around and explore and a short walk to the woods where he was walked wvery day. We will be usinf Ruths services again next time we go away.

About: Dan and I have both been dog owners in the past and have been missing the joys of a wagging tail. Experts in snuggles and belly rubs, we always guarantee your doggo will be the centre of our attention. I work from home most days, so have a pretty flexible schedule! With the days getting warmer, I love to work from my garden, so your pet and I can enjoy some sunbathing and fresh air! 🌳 I have a fenced garden and two lovely cats who are the chilliest boys in the world. I keep their nails trimmed so no worries about any accidental scratches either 💅 They are indoor/outdoor so will probably be out keeping your fur baby company outside!

Sylvia and her husband did a fantastic job of looking after my Pointer Hudson and put my mind at rest before leaving him with them for 12 days. Sylvia obviously loves dogs and done everything possible to make sure Hudson was happy and settled during his stay, I received twice daily pictures and updates of them having walks and fun together, Sylvia even contacted me if she was unsure whether Hudson would be happy to do certain activities like go to the small lake area close by. If you are looking for a loving and truly caring person to look after your pet I honestly don’t think you will find anyone better that Sylvia and I shall definitely book her next time I have to go away. 10 stars from us.

This was an emergency booking. Charlotte suggested bringing Molly the day before for a sniff around and to meet us. Molly is an anxious dog and Charlotte gave her the time and space to explore. From the moment I took Molly into Charlotte’s home I felt reassured. She created a little area for Molly with her cushion, blanket and toys. There was also water available. Molly was happy to stay with her which was a relief. I got lots of updates and she clearly had a lovely time. Charlotte was so sensitive to Molly’s needs and didn’t put any pressure on her to do things she didn’t want to do. Over the two days Molly really grew in confidence. Molly has also had pancreatitis and Charlotte both understood and was prepared to give her painkillers if needed. I cannot thank Charlotte enough for the great care she showed Molly and would highly recommend her.

About: Hi! I’m Caitlin, a huge dog lover and proud owner of my Fox Red Labrador, Wesley 🐾 I know how important it is to feel completely comfortable leaving your dog with someone else, so I’d love to provide a safe, loving home away from home environment while you’re away. I’m used to all the fun (and chaos!) that comes with having a dog and understand that every pup has their own personality, routine and needs. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing, cuddles on the sofa or simply having someone around, I’ll make sure they get plenty of attention and feel settled and happy. I’m reliable, caring and would treat your dog exactly as I’d want Wesley to be treated. I’m also happy to keep you updated with photos and messages while you’re away, because I know you’ll probably want to see what they’re getting up to! 🥰 I’d love to get to know you and your dog and hopefully become their favourite home away from home. I work full time from home, so I have plenty of flexibility around caring for your dog. I’m available for boarding throughout weekends and can accommodate weekday bookings depending on my work schedule. I have a secure, fenced garden and a friendly Labrador, Wesley, who loves having other dogs around. I’ll make sure your dog feels safe, comfortable and part of the family. I’m also happy to follow their usual routine, including walks, feeding and crate sleeping if needed. Wesley gets walked 2-3 times a day in the woodlands opposite our estate. He also loves his trips to the park and the beach! 🏝️

Cara was wonderful with Barry. It was clear from the start that she’s a real dog lover, and she did everything she could to keep him settled, safe, and feeling loved. Her communication was great throughout, and it was obvious he was well exercised and nicely socialised during his stay. I’d most definitely send Barry to Cara again for another week of holiday. Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Dog Boarding in Norwich on Rover is £34.5 per night (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Dog Boarding easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Dog Boarding. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of August 2026, there are 249 sitters on Rover offering Dog Boarding across Norwich. Enter your postcode to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Finding the right boarding environment is all about peace of mind. Boarding with a sitter on Rover helps you find a cosy experience in a real home for your dog.

When searching for a host, look for a sitter who:

  • Offers a secure, home-like environment that is clean and welcoming
  • Adheres to your dog’s established routine for meals, activity, and rest
  • Possesses relevant experience with your pet’s specific breed, size, and personality
  • Maintains clear communication regarding the frequency of photo and message updates

Don’t skip the Meet & Greet! The free Meet & Greet is the best way to see where your dog will sleep and who they might play with.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in East of England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
