Duggie loved his stay with Charlotte. After an initial visit, we were very confident that it would work out well. Charlotte is very warm, friendly and knowledgeable about dogs and Duggie was comfortable with her immediately. Everything in Charlotte’s home and garden is set up to be dog friendly and she was very flexible about delivery and pick up times. During his stay, Charlotte sent me regular updates and pictures- he was clearly having a fab time. Duggie came home a very chilled and happy boy and a lovely touch was that Charlotte sent him home with a little diary of his holiday with her. We will definitely send Duggie to Charlotte again in future and would recommend her very highly.

About: We’re lifelong dog lovers and take a considered, personal approach so each dog receives plenty of individual attention. My husband and I both work from home full time, meaning dogs in our care are rarely left alone and enjoy consistent company throughout the day. During the week, our home is particularly calm as our two children (aged 6 and 8) are at school. We share our home with our own 3-year-old dog, who is relaxed, friendly, and well socialised with other dogs. Our children have grown up around dogs and are gentle and respectful, understanding when a dog needs space. We are best suited to dogs who are comfortable in a family environment and around children. Our home is spacious, with several quiet areas where dogs can rest if they prefer their own space, as well as the option to stay close to us in our home office. We also have a secure, fully fenced garden for safe outdoor time. Sleeping arrangements are flexible and tailored to your dog’s usual routine. We follow a calm, consistent daily routine, including at least one walk a day, and we’re happy to maintain your dog’s normal feeding, medication, and care. Ahead of booking, we ask owners to share any special requirements so we can provide thoughtful, personalised care. We’re always happy to arrange a meet and greet to make sure it’s the right fit for everyone. We both work from home full time with our own rescue dog who we take for daily walks, so always looking for more furry company! As already mentioned, you can rest assured your dog is in safe hands - our garden is fully fenced. We can also go for on-lead walks for your peace of mind.

Booked last minute with Ania and was so easy. Dropping Charlie off and she was slightly nervous but Ania was great with her. Sending me photos and updates to let me know how she was and how settled. On picking Charlie up, she had settled in with the family making herself at home. Will absolutely be booking again. Charlie came home relaxed and settled from her busy day.

Pinar has been absolutely wonderful with our puppy, Wesley, and always takes such good care of him. Their dog is lovely and Wesley loves to play with him. Wesley is now excited to be dropped off and loves to see the other dog(s). Pinar is great at sending videos and photos throughout the day of Wesley’s stay and is always very honest about how he has been (e.g. will tell me if he had an accident). They are genuinely lovely people and we always look forward to going back!

Jude was amazing, she made us feel so comfortable leaving Cooper with her, she knew actually how to make Cooper feel welcome and give him space to relax. I was nervous leaving him as I always am, but within the first hour, I got some lovely reassuring pictures and messages and I was able to relax and enjoy my doggie free day. I will definitely use Jude again when we're back in the area. Thank you so much from us and Cooper xxx

Saoirse was absolutely wonderful, from initial contact, to meeting with Woody on the day of looking after him, all the way through to collection. I felt very comfortable leaving him as he was made to feel so welcome at Saoirses' home. When picking him up, he seemed very happy and well exercised (fell asleep in the car on the way home). Fab communication and updates on his stay. We will absolutely be using Saoirse again.

Ruth done a great job looking after Marley for the day, Normally Marley is very excited to see me when I come home but at Ruths when I went to pick her up she barely took any notice of me as she was so happy where she was. Ruth is very kind and gentle and obviously loves and knows how to look after dogs and I would highly recommend her. I have booked an overnighter already.

About: I love dogs. They are family and must be treated as such. I have experience with many puppies up to larger dogs weighing in excess of 30kg. I’ve a sensible head, good common sense and your best friend will get the best care with me. I walk different breed of dogs daily, I adapt the walk to their pace, some older paws need to go a bit slower! I have first aid certificate for dogs and happy to give medication if required. Free most weekends, still have availability all day Wednesday, some on Monday and Friday mornings. Cat drop in morning and late afternoon are free every day. Please contact me to confirm. I will care for your pets on drop in visits as if they were my own. They will have time to play and have cuddles whilst feeding to your schedule and making sure there is fresh water. I do not have a licence to board dogs so not offering this service. Equally I cannot offer sitter services in your home due to having 3 dogs of my own.

This is the first time we have left our dog with anyone and being a puppy we wanted him to have a good experience. We did a meet and greet first so able to meet Chelsea and see where our dog was to stay. We found there was a nice garden to play in, fields to walk the dog at the rear of the house. Chelsea was great with our dog giving him time and space to explore and get comfortable with his surroundings. On drop off and collection everything was calm and he seemed quite happy with his new experience. we will defiantly use the service again and fully confident that we are leaving our dog in good hands. Thank you Peter and Anne

About: I have owned pets since a young child, including horses, dogs and cats. I love animals and have experience cat-sitting for customers. I understand the responsibility of looking after animals, including their different needs and adjusting to their different personalities. I currently work 7:30am-15:30. These hours are flexible and can be altered around your schedule. I can therefore see to pets before work and after work. I am also free on weekends and am happy to work around the needs of your pets. I offer care for pets in the owners home, therefore the pets have all their own comforts. I will work around the needs of your pets at the time of the stay, for example, I'm happy to ensure pets are kept out of certain rooms if the rooms typically get hot during the day. I can be completely flexible around you and your pet as I am on a career break! Just let me know your routine and we can get to it. We have a lovely big fenced garden for your pet to run around and explore. I also love in the country side so there are lots of places to walk and explore!

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - South Norfolk

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in South Norfolk on Rover is £26.45 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 307 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in South Norfolk. About 84% of South Norfolk sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your South Norfolk commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in East of England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
