“Leticia was amazing with our dog, met him before hand and was very reassuring. Kept in touch with plenty of detail at each visit and sent lots of photos. We felt reassured knowing our dog was in safe hands and will definitely be asking her to look after him again. Thank you 😊”

“Rosie looked after my cat while I was on holiday and did an amazing job. She kept me fully informed on how he was and sent lovely pictures in line with pre-agreed plan. Really pleased with the care my cat received”

“Rosie is a great sitter and a safe pair of hands. She helped me looking after Rudi in a difficult time and with very short notice. I'm grateful for her help and would recommend her to anybody needing high quality and attentive pet care. Thank you so much Rosie.”

About: I have many years of experience as guardian of my own dogs, cats as well as small pets, but I also previously worked for a dog walking company doing solo walks, cat and small pet visits and I helped out with puppy classes. I now offer dog walking and pop-in visits for dogs, cats and small animals. I have also experience with farm animals such as chickens, ducks, sheep and pigs, so don't hesitate to ask me if you need pop-in visits on other animals! Since my own dog passed away at nearly 16 years old this year, I can now also offer boarding in my own home for dogs and cats. I'm happy to walk dogs with additional needs such as reactive dogs, senior dogs, puppies, recovering dogs etc. I prefer to walk them in a harness for their own safety and comfort, and I will do my best to make the walk as interesting and enriching as possible! Most of all I want their time with me to be pleasant and stress free! I will need to know if your pets have any special requirements such as dietary needs, allergies, medication etc. I'm working Monday to Wednesdays in my day job (working from home), so on those days I'm unavailable for daytime walks and visits. I may be available for evening cat feeds and visits, so please just sent me a message to find out! Thursdays to Sundays I'm available in the daytime as well as for evening visits. Don't hesitate to get in touch with any questions :) It can be daunting to have a stranger come into your home and look after your pets while you're out, but I can assure you I will treat your home with the utmost respect and follow any instructions given by you. I can give updates during/after the visit if required to give you peace of mind. I also have an enhanced DBS certificate.

“So grateful for Cassy to have looked after our cat. It was very short notice and Cassy was super helpful, kind, responsive and attentive. Mr B. usually takes a bit of time to get comfortable with people, but he instantly felt at ease with Cassy. This was my first Rover experience and Cassy has certainly made it a very positive and amazing one!! If you are looking for someone to take care of your furry loved ones, look no further! Thank you 😻”

About: I grew up with a rescue dog and I'm lucky enough to now have one of my own 🐶 (she lives in the house). I have experience with dogs of all ages and temperaments and have the patience and understanding to look after puppies, nervous, reactive and elderly dogs. I work full time but mostly from home. If I have to work outside of the house I'll let you know at point of booking. Max time I'll leave the dogs is for 3 hours at a time. I'm up early most days and know the importance of routine with dogs and adapting to fit into their way of life. I walk my dog twice a day and give her access to the garden most of the time so would aim to do the same with your dog but keep them under supervision. My partner also works from home a lot too, so likely there's someone always around. I have a fenced garden and a very dog proof house (have dog sat puppies here) alongside my lovely dog who's a Romanian rescue. I live with my partner who also mostly works remotely too, so extra hands on deck. We're both very chilled people and understand the different needs of dogs and want to make them feel as comfortable in our house as possible. There are not really any no go areas in our house and dogs are allowed on the sofas and bed (if you allow that too!). We also live really close to a big park in Bristol so have easy access to give your pup a good walk.

“Gill came to meet us on a pre visit, that was helpful for us all. Gill is so lovely and wanted to know all about the cats routine and their little idiosyncrasies. She sent photos and videos and both the cats were very relaxed and happy. One of my cat’s is always a little distant and nervous, but Gill quickly won him over and he behaved just like Gill was his owner!! Cleo had loads of cuddles and love too. I came home and they were relaxed, had eaten and slept in the bed with her as they do with me! Gill respected my home and loved my cats while I was away. Highly recommend Gill. Calm, kind and an absolute animal lover. Thank you Gill. 😻😻”

About: I’ve cared for animals my entire life, looking after everything from pigs and goats to countless dogs and cats. For decades, friends, family, and neighbours have trusted me to care for their pets, whether that’s daily visits, longer stays, or simply making sure they feel safe and loved while their owners are away. I have experience with rescue, nervous, and anxious dogs, and I take the time to build trust, offering calm reassurance and a gentle approach. I’m confident caring for pets of all ages, from lively puppies (I’ve done plenty of puppy training and will soon be welcoming my own) to older pets who need a slower pace, I also have experience with dogs who have special needs. I’m comfortable giving pills and drops, handling special diets, and providing basic grooming like brushing and paw wiping. I also drive and have a crate, meaning I can safely handle vet trips or emergencies if needed. I have a warm, loving environment and I am confident with dogs of all shapes, sizes and age. My key concern is that you are confident that when I look after your pet, it will be happy, safe and well looked after. I look forward to meeting with you and your pet! I work part time and from home during some of this. There are days I am not working where we can take day trips or spend a relaxed day at home in the large garden. I am able to have long walks and fit in smaller breaks during the day if it is a day I am working from home. Your pet will have a good balance of plenty of attention and exercise as well as much needed rest and calm. Please feel free to ask me more questions about this as we live a very flexible and the animals in our life are a priority. I have an enhanced DBS status (updated through my work with vulnerable adult and children). My home has one older teenager (studying animal management) and my husband. They will not be responsible for the care of your pet, however, as I have often had lots of different animals to look after they are comfortable with having them around. I have a large garden which is fenced all sides. If you like I have a large crate I can use to offer your pet its own calm space. I also have lots of enrichment items so your beloved pet will get physical and mental exercise as well as lots of care and attention including some agility equipment. Currently no other pets although we will be adding to my family soon. I am a firm believer in ensuring our beautiful pets need lots of love, care, exercise with a decent balance of calm and rest and that the humans in their life are key to facilitating this offering calm and balanced leadership, positive reinforcement and patience.

“If you are looking for kindness, professionalism, emotional intelligence, security, and a genuine openness for your pet then look no further. Frida is a fantastic sitter by virtue of her understanding of animals, the people who care for them, and the importance of being a trusted sitter.”

About: I have always loved animals. My grandparents used to have a farm so I have experience with lots of animals. I used to keep many pets as a child. We have a four year old dog-friendly Pomeranian girl called Stella so I can ONLY help look after small or medium-sized dog breeds either female or neutered male who are friendlly with toy breeds. I work part-time in a nursery 3 days a week and have weekends, Mondays and Fridays off so I could give the dog my full attention then. My husband works from home so he can take care of the dogs when I am at work. We own a 4 bedroom detached house with a good size garden near a large park. I have two teenaged children and they love animals and long walks. I look forward to hearing from you soon. Kind regards, Marketa My husband works from home on the days that I work, so my dog and your dog would never be left alone for more than few hours at a time when my husband needs to go shopping for example. We have a fenced, good sized garden and 4 bedroom detached spacious home and a teenage children who adore animals and help with dog walking.

About: Hello, I’m Emma and I live in Staple Hill with my partner and cat, Summer. I’ve had cats all my life & often look after friends’ and family’s fur babies! I know how important it is as a cat owner to be reassured that they are in good hands and as relaxed as possible, so that you can fully enjoy your time away. I love how unique each cat is and like getting to know their quirks. It’s amazing how even the grumpy or more timid ones manage to wrap you around their little paw in no time! Now I’m working from home I have free-time in the mornings and evenings (somtimes lunchbreaks too) that would’ve been spent commuting … and I thought, what better way to spend that time than keeping cats company and checking they’re well looked after while you’re away. Also, just for info I have an enhanced DBS certificate I can visit your cat once or twice daily ( before and after work) to give them food, fresh water, empty the litter tray and check in on them. I will also spend time with them -keeping them company, playing with them, giving them cuddles, grooming them (if they’ll let me!) or just hanging out. I’m more than happy to send you updates and photos to give you peace of mind. Also happy to water house plants if needed. Areas covered - Staple Hill, Downend, Mangotsfield, Frenchay, Fishponds I will treat your house with care and respect. If you would like me to do any additional tasks in the house such as watering plants or putting out recycling please just let me know, and I’d be happy to help.

Katie W.
“Our dog, Willow, has been to stay with Katie a number of times and is always very excited to see her (and her dog, Summer)... In fact, whenever we go to collect her I get the feeling that she would rather stay and play with Summer than come home!! Katie sends regular photo's of Willow relaxed and clearly at home playing with Summer, pout walking, or simply having cuddles with Katie or her partner. All in all, I do not think we could wish for a better person to look after Willow when we are unable to do so.”
