About: I’ve had animals in my household since the day I was born and grew up on a small surrounded by dogs, cats & rabbits, etc. Animals are family to me, and I treat every pet in my care with love, patience, and compassion—just as I would my own. Whether it’s puppy playtime, gentle care for seniors, or simply offering a warm lap and plenty of cuddles, I make sure each pet feels safe, happy, and at home. Your furry friend will enjoy a true “home-from-home” stay with lots of attention & affection. I work from home most of the week and will only offer boarding on the days I’m at home. This means your dog will enjoy at least two daily walks, and on weekends we often head further afield for beach, woodland, or canal adventures. Since I’m home, dogs can also enjoy free access to the garden whenever they like, giving them plenty of space to play, explore, and relax. I have a fenced garden and two excitable one year old dogs who will definitely keep your dog entertained. Pets are allowed on the furniture and can be taken in the car for some walk adventures.

About: For the past three years, I've had the joy of caring for two wonderful dogs, which has given me extensive experience in pet care and understanding their needs. From daily walks and playtime to grooming and training, I've developed a strong bond with them and learned how to ensure they are happy and healthy. Recently, I've welcomed a new puppy into my home, and over the past month, I've been focused on socializing and training him, using the skills I've gained from my previous experience. This combination of caring for both adult dogs and a playful puppy has deepened my love for animals and my commitment to providing the best care possible. I work Wednesday-Friday 8am-5pm and these hours I will be out the house, other than that, I can be home as needed. We do have a dog walker for our puppy so can always enquire about adding an extra if we are caring for your pup however this cannot be guaranteed. My partner ensures to walk our dog early in the morning before work and we would make sure an evening walk was included too if needed. I also have our puppy at home so need to fulfil his needs so always make sure he is left in a safe environment with lots of toys to keep him busy. During the evenings we spend lots of time training and playing with our pup and going on walks if he hasn’t been out with the dog walker. Once he is tired out we make sure he gets lots of cuddles and treats before bedtime. Having our pup for 7 months now has given us a routine like this which we would include your fur baby into aswell and give them the best care possible. I have a fenced garden with a grass area, enough space for your dog to run around and use the toilet. We currently don’t allow our puppy upstairs but we have a stair gate so they can’t get through. Our house is already puppy proofed for our fur baby which makes it safe for all other dogs too!

“Kimberley is the most caring and patient person I have met. Very patient with our whippet, who is a diva and quite nervous. Took time to get to know her and never pushed anything, all in the dog’s time. I am confident Bella will settle better once she gets to know Kimberley better. This was an urgent booking to cover work and Kimberley was very accommodating, and took time to meet us before hand, with our dog. Very professional and polite and would definitely recommend. Thank you Kimberley.”

About: Between us both we’ve had over two years experience owning our own dog, which has included training our Cockapoo from the age of 8 weeks old. We’ve both cared for friends and families dog in the past over many years, and both of us have been previous cat owners. We’re both massive animal lovers, your pet would be treated with love and care, plus they’d have our Cockapoo Ziggy in the home as a friend. Both of us completed a dog first aid course in September 2023. We both work full time and our own dog goes to doggy daycare if we both need to be in the office on the same day. We can consider weekday boarding but would need good notice so we can make arrangements for at least one of us to be working from home. We’re most likely available on the weekends for boarding. We get out and about for walks on the weekends in the Quantocks or local beaches, sometimes we day trip to Devon or Dorset. We have a spacious house and good sized garden for your dog to relax or play in. We’d follow any instruction on feeding regime etc.

“My moody/fussy 10 year old Border cross Archie has just come home after a week staying with Jane, and I don't think he was overly pleased in having to leave her. Jane was exceptional, very caring and attentive to his needs and fussy little routines, he was made to feel right at home. We received regular updates and photos which really puts your mind at rest. We will certainly use Jane's service again and would highly recommend her to everyone. Steve”
