About: I have been around dogs since I was little. I am used to big dogs and small dogs, and have helped my mum with rover before! I am currently on a gap year, and have a few months where I am available! I feel that dog walking/sitting would fit into my schedule really well as I am used to walking my own dog when I have days off! I have a fenced front and back garden, and I have a loving chocolate labrador! I can follow your requests and update you throughout the sitting!

About: In the past I have had my own pets to take care of. Now though, I walk dogs for a married couple (they have 8 poodles and cockapoos) whom I met nearly 3 years ago. They sleep over at mine sometimes. I love them dearly. They get so excited when they see me to take them out and we have fun together. We play chase and hide and seek. Some of the doggies are in my profile pics. I've also looked after other dogs in their home and they too get very excited when they see me. Also I've looked after a golden very large labrador in my flat on two occasions. He also got very excitable when he saw me from a distance and charged over to me. Like I said I adore animals and ensure I look after their needs. I work full time Monday to Friday 0900 to 1700. I'd be available to stay over Friday and Saturday evenings as well as dog walks during the week in the evenings of lighter evenings. I am able to build trust by taking care of their needs and giving them the attention and love they need. I am able to keep them safe by putting them in a crate and when walking keep them on a lead until full trust is built.

“Chris has looked after Daisy twice, both times in our home. He was reliable, his communications were great and we had every confidence that Daisy was being well cared for. We would be very happy for him to come and sit again.”

“Chloe took great care of our spaniel on our wedding day - she really went above and beyond for us. Chloe met us before the day to make arrangements, thoroughly prepared to take care of our dog and her needs, and even brought her to the end of our ceremony so we could get a photo with her! We were blown away by Chloe's communication and care, and our dog had a super day by the looks of it. Will book again. Thank you so much, Chloe!”

“Jack has been and currently continues to be amazing snowy has really taken to him. He's walked her and kept us up to date with photos the whole time he's been with her. Will defo be booking again”

“Our experience with Shanice was fantastic: her communication prior to the sit was excellent, she arrived promptly and we felt completely relaxed leaving Daisy in her care. We would highly recommend her and would not hesitate to ask Shanice to sit for Daisy again.”

About: Since moving back to the UK in 2017. I have enjoyed dog walking and dog sitting for my friends and I have now decided that I want to do it more often as I have more free time. I have 8 years experience with many breeds of dogs of all ages. I'm currently working part time and can offer early morning walks, doggy day care, lunch time pop ins, afternoon/evening walks, dog sitting. Overnight stays at your doggy home. I am available to look after your dog at your home. I also have very well behaved tibetan terrier who is crate trained who can come with me and keep your dog company too.

About: Hi! I’m a long-time animal lover with over 8 years of pet care experience—and a soft spot for furry (and feathery!) friends. It all started by helping out with my siblings’ pets whenever they were busy with work. My responsibilities included feeding, walking, cuddling, and making sure they didn’t get into too much mischief! Then friends started asking me to care for their pets too, and I’ve been the go-to pet sitter ever since. I even spent a year working as a carer for the elderly, which taught me how to be extra patient and gentle, all things that help when looking after pets with their own unique personalities. I've always wanted a job where I get to hang out with animals and give them the love and attention they deserve. That’s why I became a professional pet sitter because tail wags, happy purrs, and pet snuggles are my idea of a perfect day! I’m currently available 5 days a week, so your pet will get plenty of attention and care whenever you need it! With flexible availability and lots of free time, I’m ready to be your pet’s new best friend—whether it’s for daily visits, playtime, or longer stays. How I care for pets in a pet owner’s home depends on each pet’s needs, but my main goal I follow the owner’s instructions carefully. Whether it’s feeding schedules, medication, walks, playtime, or special routines to ensure I keep everything consistent. I make sure pets get plenty of attention and exercise, lots of cuddles, and a calm environment where they can relax. If I’m doing overnight stays, I stay attentive through the night and keep a watchful eye to make sure they’re comfortable and stress-free. I also update the owners regularly with photos or messages so they know their furry friends are in good hands. Every pet is different, so I always take time to get to know their personality and preferences to provide the best possible care.

About: I have looked after dogs all my life as we’ve always had them in the family. From border collies, to huskies, to dachshunds, I have a good understanding of how to look after dogs and understand their behaviours. I promise I will give them lots of love and cuddles, making sure they like me as much as I like them! I work from home 5 days per week (Monday - Friday) and would be happy to care for your dog in my own home! I have a fenced garden and patio doors that lead straight out from the kitchen, so the garden is accessible anytime throughout the day. I always make sure the dog feels comfortable and happy with me in the home, using mental stimulation activities, plenty of exercise outside and lots of time for cuddles (if your dog likes that!)

About: I have looked after my own pets for as long as I can remember! When I was younger we had a wildlife pond, chickens, cats and always a dog by my side! I have studied Animal care and applied sciences at university so my passion doesn't just come from a well rooted personal life but also years of study and interest in providing the best possible care for our furry, scaly and feathered friends. I will update my schedule to show an accurate representation of when I am available for boarding, sitting or drop ins. My schedule fluctuates, but I will always put the needs of an animal first! When your pets stay in our home, they will find a warm and welcoming environment that is kept clear of any risks such as harsh chemicals or toxic plants. I will always ask to discuss the needs of you and your pets before we take them on and we will agree on the rules of your household to keep things consistent for your pet. This includes any command words, dietary or medical needs they may be used to.

“As soon as I met Elisabeth I knew straight away that I could 100% trust her with my puppy Dex - as he’s still young, he is cautious about being left with people when I’m not there, but he warmed to Elisabeth straight away. Thank you so much for looking after him while I went out for the evening, and hopefully see you again soon 🥰”

Ayla A.
“Ayla has had large choc labs in her life from an early age. As any labrador owner knows they are boisterous hooligans & don't mellow with age until they are 5 or 6 years old if you are lucky 😉 So Ayla is used to caring for & walking this type of excitable dog. I would have no hesitation in recommending Ayla to look after anyone's animal. I have personally been on Rover looking after dogs for over 4 years & Ayla has helped me look after small & large dogs on many occasions in our home. Ayla has completed her studies & has taken a year out to travel & do adhoc work & am pleased she is home for the summer hence able to offer her services on Rover.”

Samantha H.
“I'm absolutely delighted that Samantha has applied to further her pet sitting /walking . She's been a tremendous help with my dogs, and she's so reliable and trustworthy, my dogs absolutely love her and go mad when they see her . She's so mindful of how to handle and look after them . She's been an absolute gem to have around, she adores them . I have no hesitation to give her a wonderful reference, and she will be an asset to any one .”

Our dogs can be quite nervous and so it was lovely to see them bond with Gabe so quickly! Gabe has taken our dogs out for fun and safe walks, popped in to give toilet breaks, and offered top class pet sitting. We were able to go on holiday for a week with the comfort of knowing that our dogs were being cuddled, walked and comforted... not forgetting lots of cuddles and love for our cat! He sent regular pictures of our dogs looking very happy on their walks and all our pets looking relaxed at home. So lucky to have found such a responsible and loving pet caregiver. Ash is a very active person and would walk your dog for miles if that’s what they need. They have looked after our family dog many times and our girl has been thoroughly spoilt each time.”

Kayla T.
“Me and my partner used Kayla to cat sit my two babies for a week whilst on holiday. My cats aren’t very fond of new people and can be a little skittish but Kayla was very loving and patient with them and allowed them to get comfortable in their own time and were best buds by the end of the stay. Kayla was very professional and strictly followed the dietary requirements provided. Litter trays were constantly cleaned, babies were played and cuddled with… couldn’t have asked her for anything more. Also got updates on my kitties whilst away which was very reassuring as was worried to leave them with anyone. Would definitely recommend! 🥰”
