“Joan was amazing with Beau, provided regular updates and photos. So I could enjoy my holiday, without worrying about him. He was so happy and relaxed when I got home. I would recommend her to anyone”

About: Hello! My name is Maddie. I am 19 and have a genuine love for animals. I grew up surrounded by various animals, such as dogs, cats, hamsters, bunnies, guinea pigs and fish. I have grown up and trained my pup, who is a collie / springer and now have another dog who is a staffy / bulldog, and have always had an open heart to every animal. No job is too big or too small. I am always motivated for a challenge. I have taken care of my dogs since a young age. Taking them on walks, playing games of ball, feeding them well and of course never forgetting lots of cuddles. Currently I am studying a uni course at Weymouth college, whilst working. However, I would like to start dog sitting to get more experience with animals, to have a good opportunity to go into the army as a dog handler. I will make time for your pets, just like mine. If they are shy / nervous / excited / outgoing , they will all be treated with the same patience and love. I am currently at uni two days a week and working 35 hours a week 3/4 days, however I’m still left with around 2/3 days and 2 evenings free to spend with puppers. I have a fenced off, big garden and two dogs that love to play and would get on well with your dog. I can easily make room for crates if needed and live next to a beautiful field and cliffs which are great for walks!

About: I’ve been around dogs most of my life, including growing up with my own dog where I helped with daily care, walks, and basic training. More recently, I regularly look after and walk my nan’s dog, making sure she’s exercised and well cared for. I’ve also helped neighbours, friends, and family with dog sitting, walking, and general care, so I’m comfortable with different breeds and personalities. Whether it’s a relaxed walk or a more active one, I’m happy to adapt to what each dog needs. I’m reliable, easy to communicate with, and always make sure dogs feel safe, happy, and properly looked after. I work full-time in the fire service, so I’m reliable and used to responsibility, but I still have good availability for dog walking and pet care. I’m available most evenings during the week and more flexible on weekends. I’m happy to offer walks, drop-in visits, and boarding depending on availability. I provide a safe, calm, and caring environment for every dog in my care. I live in a first-floor flat, and any dogs staying with me will never be left alone, with full-time supervision and regular toilet breaks, attention, and a comfortable space to relax. Dogs in my care will get at least two walks a day, usually around an hour, with everything tailored to suit them. Whether they’re young or older, prefer shorter or longer walks, enjoy the beach or quieter routes, or need to be on or off the lead, I always adapt to their needs and your instructions. I’m happy to provide GPS tracking of walks where possible, along with regular photo updates, so you can see exactly where your dog has been and have full peace of mind while they’re with me.
“Nicky stayed in our home overnight to look after our pooch Maverick. From the outset Nicky was professional, polite and punctual. We booked her the day before our trip and she was able to help out at short notice which was super helpful ! She provided regular updates whilst we were away which was really reassuring. The house was left immaculately on our return. I couldn’t recommend Nicky enough, thank you so much and we would certainly like to use your services again in the future :)”

“Ro filled us with confidence from the moment we met him, he was calm around the dogs which was lovely to see. I had no concerns leaving them with him and they were happy and relaxed when we returned. I would wholeheartedly recommend Ro as a dog sitter.”

About: I’ve grown up around animals of all shapes and sizes (mainly dogs). I currently work for a local animal charity as an Animal Rescue Carer. I currently work from Sunday to Wednesday so would ideally be looking to provide dog walks on either a Thursday, Friday or Saturday for you. Due to always having dogs and now working with dogs, I know lots of lovely local dog walks that I can take your pooch too.
“Alice was kind and calm when she met my young dog Ivor. He had fun on a walk with her when she pet sat him for several hours. He was happy and settled when I returned from my work shift and his pictures show he had a good time.”

About: I have always grown up with various different pets, ranging from energetic dogs to guinea pigs, as well as cats, hamsters and turtles so would be very happy to take care of any animals you may have or more than one of different types. I have taken care of family and friend’s dogs and pets regularly and am very comfortable with administering medicine as well as cleaning litter trays and sticking to any routines or rules there may be. I look forward to meeting your family additions! I currently work flexibly and have plenty of time to give attention to your animals; ensuring they are well cared for and their routine is adhered to. I will be happy to stick to any routines you may have and doing regular or long walks per day as well as play time and ensuring dogs or cats are let outside or litter trays regularly changed.

About: I've had many breeds of dogs tiny to large, cat, fish & chickens. Playing and cuddles are essential as are exciting walks for dogs. I will take care of your home too I have been retired for a number of years physically fit and drive. My time is my own so happy to devote my time to caring gor your pets I have been MD s of companies owned a hotel and treat your home like mine with honesty trust and reliability making it an adventure for your pet

About: Let me take care of your beloved animals while you cant. I've retired from my role in the police and civil service and am now starting my new career in petcare. Enhanced DBS checked and canine first aid trained. Animals are an essential part of my life and I couldn't see myself with out them for long. From an early age I have owned my own pets and worked in petcare. I've looked after birds, tropical fish, cats and dogs to ferrets, rats, mice, spiders and scorpions! My first paid jobs were in an Aquarium shop and then a Pet shop. I've cared for animals throughout all stage of their life. I've hand reared birds and raised both puppies and kittens and even cared for my dog through pregnancy and having her litter of puppies. I have been there holding them as they make their journey out of this world and into the next. I feel it is an honour to be part of the lives of the animals I care for and I take the responsibility of pet care very seriously. I've had experience with rescue dogs, mixed breed and pure breed dogs and understand that each animal comes with its own unique personality and care requirements. I currently own Hungarian Vizsla's and have a strong understanding of these high energy breeds. My previous Cavalier King Charles spaniels suffered with a heart condition and I'm experienced in delivering medications as required. Our previous rescue dog required significant behavioural training and protective equipment. I've had experience in using a variety of petcare equipment including muzzles, harnesses, crates, booties, comfort jackets, post surgical collars and more. Although it has been a while since I owned my own cats, I raised my two from kittens that were no larger than the palm of my hand. I currently have a tropical Aquarium and gold fish pond and understand the requirements for the care of these animals. If you believe I would be a good fit to look after your pet, please dont hesitate to get in touch. You can be reassured that I am doing this as my full time role, so when I am looking after your pets and home I will be able to give it my full attention and your pets will not have to compete with other priorities. A night sit is equivalent to 24 hours, for example 12pm on the first day till 12pm on the following. If you require earlier starts or later finishes, a day charge would be payable addition to the overnight rate. Day sits or drop in's may be available in the local area (Wareham, Sandford, Swanage, Studland, Corfe Castle), but overnight and longer sits will take precedence. Day sits will be charged at an hourly rate and if driving to the location is required a fuel surchage will also be payable. For further information please see the rates section of the profile or dont hesitate to get in contact. How your pets are cared for will be based on the information you provide and being set in their own homes means you can stick to their normal routines and activities. A typical day would involve a walk, play, socialisation if your pet likes that and exploring the local area. For puppies and young dogs I can provide some basic training, I have only completed basic training in this field, but have alot of experience having raised 5 dogs from puppies. I want to ensure your dog is safe at all times, so I would be lead walking in public or using a long line for a little extra freedom. The more information you can give me about your pets the better I will be able to look after them exactly how you'd like, so we would discuss this in greater depth if you choose me to look after your pets. I will happily provide photos and updates regularly to your preferred contact method. The more I get to know your pet the more activities we will be able to do together, for example I have taken a pet I was looking after away in the motorhome to the new forest with our own dogs and friends as well. They had a wonderful time on their first camping trip. We could go for a drive on a day trip out, pub outings or walks in the Country parks etc. All activities would be agreed with you prior to undertaking. I would look after your home with the utmost respect and follow all the rules of the house regarding pet sleeping arrangements, security and alarm procedures, keeping keys and codes safe and secure and respectful behaviour for your neighbours. I would clean up after myself and poo pick the garden as necessary, but please note I do not provide a house or garden cleaning service. I would require a clean bedroom to sleep in, a bathroom to use, access to cooking and food preparation areas. I would bring my own food, but would require the basic staple foods like tea coffee oils pantry items to be available for use. For longer sits I would require wifi access as well.

“I highly recommend Edita, she looked after our puppy for us this weekend and has done a fantastic job. She has been kind, loving and taken her out for some lovely walks. It means a lot to trust someone with your dog, but Edita made us feel comfortable about leaving our puppy with her and it was clear to us that she’s a dog person and spent lots of time doing nice things with her. Thank you so much ❤️”

About: I have had pets for as long as I can remember. While we are mostly been a cat family, we have had an array of pets, from fish to guinea pigs. I always seem to attract the cats however, nicknamed the cat queen in our house. Over the years, I have looked after many family friends dogs; Jack Russell’s, Springer Spaniels, Pomeranians, Labradors, Border Collies. I’ve always loved hiking and walking, and now get to do this as my job, but would love a furry friend to accompany me, so I can play pretend until I own one of my own! I’ve also recently done my first house sit on TrustedHousesitters for two lovely mother and daughter lab pair. It was one of my highlights so far of the year and would love to continue to help other families. I am a very tidy and clean person, and have no problem watering your plants or cleaning out a litter tray! I also have no problem with any energy level of dog, I’d walk for hours and play fetch for days… or just a quick wrap around the roads for cute oldies. I am currently an Outdoor Instructor working with the school holidays. I finish each day at 16:00, so able to drop in or walk to see your furry friends after work. I also have school holidays and weekends off, meaning I’m able to be flexible and spend lots of time playing and walking. I can also house sit during these holidays for whenever you and your loved ones are jetting off. ✈️ I love updating owners and sending lots of pictures of your friends! It is the service that I would like as I know how precious these pets are to us. I can easily follow any particular requirements or where your pet likes to sleep at night, to make sure they’re not unsettled by a new friend.
About: My family had a boxer dog called Charlie before I was born until I was 6. My grandparents also had a dog until two years ago, who I walked and played with. My neighbour also would being their cocker-spaniel Poppy to our house a few weekends a year, for us to look after, including taking on regular walks, out to the toilet, etc. I would like to petsit a few weekends a year, probably once a month, and am happy to travel to a variety of places for this. I will ensure the safety of your pet at all times, ensuring I follow the instructions you provide to fulfil the individual needs of your pet. I have high attention to detail, and have worked in environments where responsibility and caring for others is of extreme importance (I worked in a nursery for 3 months over the summer 2021).
“Maria was outstanding. I came home to happy, clean, healthy dogs and a clean house. She kept in touch with updates and photographs and asked questions that showed she cared and got things right for my furry family. I can't recommend her highly enough.”

“Lisa-Ann took wonderful care of our Red Labrador, Rex, taking the time to get to know him and us beforehand. Our doggie enjoyed wonderful walks and fun whilst we were away for the week and was very relaxed in her company. Her experience and love of dogs is excellent, alongside her communication to us throughout. Highly recommend Lisa-Ann, who gave over and above. We hope another opportunity arises in the future for Rex to hang out with Lisa-Ann and her family again, thank you!”
