“This is the first time our dog has stayed overnight since losing her partner in crime to old age, so we were cautious about who we chose. We have visited a few other hopefuls, but our dog would shake with fear at the thought of even going into another house, no reflection on the supplier, just our timid dog. When we visited Rachel, we were expecting the same reaction. So when our dog literally bounded into the house and made herself at home, there was a mixture of surprise and relief! Don't know what it is, but our dog was completely at ease within seconds! We found Rachel to be personable, thoughtful and super considerate. We had the opportunity to then book our dog in for a few days before the longer stay planned later in the year, and I'm not sure our dog wanted to leave at the end of it!! We were sent daily photo's and updates, so knew our dog was happy. I can confidently state that Rachel has a way with dogs and would trust her with our dog at the drop of a hat!”

About: Hello! My name is Maddie. I am an 21 year old who has a genuine love for animals. I grew up surrounded by various animals, such as dogs, cats, hamsters, bunnies, guinea pigs and fish. I have grown up and trained my pup, who is a collie / springer and now I have another dog who is a staffy / bulldog. I have always had an open heart to every animal. No job is too big or too small. There are lots of great places locally for dog walks, including the local rec. I have no dogs or other animals of my own. I work part-time, from home. This allows me to be flexible to your dogs routine, such as toilet routines, exercise, play, feeding etc. I spend a lot of time at home so your dog will have plenty of company. I have a secure, fenced garden. I am also trained in dog first aid/CPR (September 2022) and have access to a dog first aid kit. I live near plenty of lovely places to walk your dog.

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and love animals (unless they are rodents!) Ive had experience from 5 week old pups all the way to caring for dogs in their senior years, giving medication, insulin injections etc. After losing our beloved 16 year old Patterdale last year, it’s left a big hole and as much as we don’t feel ready to bring another dog into our lives just yet, I’m certainly missing my dog fix. My dog came before everything - just ask my husband! 🤣 And I will treat yours no different. We are an early rising household so you can drop off as early as you like. We are an active house. I work from home so generally will be able to accommodate walks and feeding at their usual times so not to disrupt their routines. There will be times when I need to go out so a dog that is happy to be left for a couple of hours would fit in nicely but if this isn’t possible I can probably work around it with some notice. Daycare and overnight boarding is available and we are central Yeovil based and easy to find. We have a reasonable size garden with grass and patio, with a mix of sun and shade. The garden is fully secure. Within walking distance of the house there is a small field, a park and plenty of pavement walks. Ham Hill Country Park is only a short drive away so if you’d like them walked here your dog will need to be crate trained for the car journey. All walks will be done on a lead for all of our peace of mind! Inside the house it’s open plan living so your dog will have the run of the ground floor with the exception of my treatment room. The upstairs will remain out of bounds.

Friends and colleagues have also trusted me to look after their furry friends! We have a lovely home and a loving heart and are willing and open to lend a hand to those who need it. I work part time from home for Children’s Services so am around for all your dogs needs. Lots of time for us to play and for walks. We live in a lovely area with a good sized garden. We enjoy long walks and the beach so will keep your pup fully entertained and loved. Our evenings are usually quieter so lots of times for cuddles. I have a good sized fenced garden to keep your dog safe. We do have a cat but she often spends time outdoors and does not seem interested in other animals. We are able to offer long walks and I do have a bath which I can offer washes if needs be.

“Dawn sent loads of photo updates and kept us updated through out Bronson's stay making us feel at ease. Bronson and Obi had a great time together with loads of walks locally and sun bathing in the garden.”

“We had never left Matilda with non-family before so were worried but we had a lovely meet with Patri before our booking date and this really put our minds at rest and we knew that Matilda would be well looked after and we had nothing to worry about. Patri asked all the right questions to ensure she gave Tilda the best care. When we left her she was not at all bothered and Patri sent us photos to show she practically went straight to sleep :) Thank you Patri, we certainly enjoyed our event more not worrying about Tilda and knowing she was in good hands,”
“Christine cared for my 4 month old puppy Hamish ( a collie x standard poodle) over a period of four nights. She kept in contact with me whilst I was away with photos and comments. He enjoyed his stay alongside Christine’s two dogs. I would have no hesitation in sending Hamish back again and recommending Christine to other owners.”
“My wife and I were very pleased with the way that Tracy and Neil looked after Harvey. They clearly have lots of experience with dogs and we can't recommend them highly enough. Our dog, Harvey, a Bavarian Mountain Hound, needs plenty of exercise and attention, which he received. Tracy was also in daily contact letting us know how he was doing. Everything you might expect from top class dog sitters. We won't hesitate to use them again.”

“We used Charlotte for the first time for our dog, Carly, and the process was amazing from start to finish. Charlotte kept us up to date with pictures and comments about how Carly was settling in which was great. She had a lovely time running off lead and playing with Charlotte’s other two dogs in the woods and fields, all of which were secure. We can highly recommend her services and facilities and will be using her again in the future. Carly had a wonderful stay!”
