About: March 2026: I’ve been a spaniel owner for 15 years - puppies through to seniors. I’ve had my working cocker, Frankie, since he was 8 weeks old and trained him myself. He’s now 5 and, like most spaniels, loves everyone! I have also looked after friend’s dogs over the last few years. Prior to Frankie, I rescued 2 male american cocker spaniels that had never been socialised. They certainly tested me but I learnt a lot from the experience. As a dog owner, when I’m looking for a sitter myself, I’m looking for someone who is capable, confident and calm. I need to feel a certain energy and know that my dog will be exercised safely and cared for with kindness. I can offer all of this. I can only consider dogs up to 18kg in weight. I work from home for my husband’s business and can manage my own time. My day always starts with walking Frankie, sometimes in Upton Country Park and sometimes Hamworthy park. I’m out for another walk mid afternoon and if weather permits Frankie will spend part of the day mooching around the garden. I’m fine with special requirements and I can accommodate short walks for seniors if required. I have a fully secure, large garden. Also, plenty of space indoors, a large kitchen diner and a utility room. I have a puppy pen and a large crate if required. Frankie has been sleeping in his bed in the corner of my bedroom but my preference would be for him to sleep downstairs if he has a companion.

About: I am missing my partner in crime. We just recently lost our boy, Kavik, only 8 days before his 15th birthday. He was a Northern Inuit, Czechoslovakian Wolfdog cross, he was entire and fed a raw diet. Over the years he has caused me to cry and laugh a lot, with some very challenging behaviour, but with consistent training he turned into a true gent. I only left him for 16 nights in his life, he came on holiday with us all over the UK and skiing in France 4 times. Knowing how difficult it can be to find someone willing to look after a challenging dog, I thought I would offer my experience and services, but also very happy to look after a laid back pooch/pet too. I have grown up and trained my pup, who is a collie / springer and now have another dog who is a staffy / bulldog, and have always had an open heart to every animal. No job is too big or too small. Currently I am studying a uni course at Weymouth college, whilst working. About: I have grown up around animals, having dogs for most of that time. I moved over from South Africa in 2020, bringing my wife, Savannah (who will occasionally join on the walks) and more importantly, two rescues with us. Our family has grown to include two Romanian rescues. One foster that ended up being an adoptee and the other is a fostered while he learns to be around people and adjusts to a new way of life before he moves onto his forever home (unless he just ends up staying forever). I understand the complexities of walking with dogs that don't come from traditional local backgrounds and require a different style of walk to make them feel safe and comfortable while out and about. I am always happy to adjust the walk to match the dog from a nice chilled walk around the block for the golden oldies to a brisk, enrichment-filled walk for the younger, more energetic hounds. Currently, I am taking an online dog first aid course and working my way through a Reactive Dog Training course, designed primarily for Romans but suitable for all dogs. With long-term plans on becoming a dog behaviourist to try help more people with anxious dogs. I currently work full-time with a 4-on-4 schedule for the ambulance service, so I will be marking my availability around those shifts. Some of those work days, I may have availability in the afternoons or late evenings in the summer. I have medical experience not only with the two-legged species but also with four-legged ones. Coming from a conservation background in South Africa has helped with this. I am a strong believer in force-free training and focus on rewarding good behaviour, which I find works amazingly with my four rescues who come with an unknown history and get very nervous around people. Out on walks, I try to utilise scent work and other forms of enrichment to make the walk more enjoyable and enriching for the dogs not only working the body but the brain.

About: My family had a boxer dog called Charlie before I was born until I was 6. My grandparents also had a dog until two years ago, who I walked and played with. My neighbour also would being their cocker-spaniel Poppy to our house a few weekends a year, for us to look after, including taking on regular walks, out to the toilet, etc. I would like to petsit a few weekends a year, probably once a month, and am happy to travel to a variety of places for this. I will ensure the safety of your pet at all times, ensuring I follow the instructions you provide to fulfil the individual needs of your pet. I have high attention to detail, and have worked in environments where responsibility and caring for others is of extreme importance (I worked in a nursery for 3 months over the summer 2021).
About: I LOVE animals! I have always been an animal lover from a very young age and have had dogs in my home! I love both cats and dogs and am a very respectful, responsible young lady who understands the stress when going away to find someone you feel comfortable and happy with in your home! I have a sprokerpoo called Ernie, and we’ve recently had this issue! I work from home with my own business in social media management, so I thought why not offer pet sitting and other services! I also have qualifications in teaching and elderly care so I am an overall compassionate and loving person! As I work from home (or anywhere with internet) I can virtually be free most of the time to pet sit! I drive and am happy to travel to you for petrol fees! If anyone has any questions you can always message! I am very eager to meet, play with and love your pets just as much as you do 🤍 I work for myself, so I choose my own hours! If you have internet in your home (if I’m house sitting) your pet friends will have a companion all day everyday for as long as you need! Working from home means I have availability to walk and drop in to see your little darlings too! In my home, I have a fully enclosed garden and have to make sure everything is put away! (Shoes are my puppy’s favourite!) I am very aware of my surroundings with my dog and what is safe for him to eat/not eat! I work full time for myself from home so this allows me a large amount of flexibility regarding my routine. This is a huge benefit to pet owners I help as I can work around your schedule/your pets schedule at ease! If I have any work calls whilst at your home I will let you know timings in advance, but this will not impact your pet sitting/daycare experience in any way! If your pet is coming to my home. He/she will be safe at all times. I won’t leave your pet if that’s what you require and make sure they are safe and well looked after at all times!

“Chani had a lovely day with Angelika and her dog Yanka. Chani is a bit senior and a bit nervous but Yanka was very respectful of her space and had a calming presence. I received several updates and lovely photos throughout the day. Chani was peacefully sleeping with Yanka and another doggy, each having plenty of space while also enjoying the presence of the others. Angelika is very reliable and takes great care of the different needs of every dog. Her house is safe, clean and welcoming. I think Chani would be very happy to go back and we would not hesitate booking again.”
