“Sophie is absolutely lovely. She kept me updated on how Biscuit was, which was so reassuring. She remembered everything I asked of her, even though we met a few weeks before I went away. Biscuit was her normal happy self when I got home, not out of sorts at all and clearly well looked after. Sophie even wash up the mug I had left in the sink and not a cat hair in sight, so she must have swept the floors too, which she didn’t have to do, but it was such a lovely touch to come home to. Will definitely call on Sophie to help me again in the future. She’s great!”

Growing up in a home where animals were always part of the family, I developed a deep sense of responsibility and empathy towards their needs. Over the years, I’ve looked after both cats and dogs of all ages and temperaments, and have built strong, trusting relationships with both the animals and their owners. Beyond private pet sitting, I’ve also volunteered at a local dog shelter, where I cared for dogs in difficult circumstances—many of them needing extra patience, understanding, and love. That experience taught me how to connect with animals on a deeper level and handle a variety of behaviours calmly and confidently. I understand how important it is to leave your pet in safe, caring hands. That’s why I take the time to get to know each animal's personality, routines, and preferences—whether it’s a slow walk for a senior dog, or a playful afternoon for a curious kitten. Reliability, compassion, and respect for your home and your pet’s wellbeing are at the core of everything I do. If you’re looking for someone who truly cares and who will treat your pet as if they were my own, I’d love to hear from you. As I’m currently renting, I’m unfortunately not able to host pets in my own home. However, I’m more than happy to care for them in their familiar environment or take them out for walks and playtime. Please let me know if your pet has any special needs or behaviours I need to be aware of. If they are scared of anything like cars, bikes, kids, other dogs etc. Also let me know please if the pet has any medical conditions that require special attention.

About: I've taken care of my own dog with my parents and frequently by myself since he came into our lives. I have a strong sense of empathy for dogs and will apply that to every animal in my care. My own experience in care extends to my past career working as a Host in Iris Court Care Home, Gosmore. My time there developed my care skills even further in a professional environment. I'm so excited give my energy to looking after your animal member of the family! I'm currently studying full time so weekends are my most likely available period, however I'm always available past 5pm on Weekdays after my work is complete for the day. My own home is very secure, I live with my parents, sister and girlfriend all of whom have experience caring for a dog. My own dog is very social and well tempered providing a homely environment for your dog

About: I grew up in a dog loving home where we treated dogs like members of the family. Over the years, friends and family relied on me to look after their dogs, knowing I would care for them and spend quality time engaging in fun and brain stimulating exercises. I have also been a "Borrow my Doggy" volunteer since 2023. I am a keen observer of dog behaviour, as they have an amazing ability to communicate their needs in their own language! I enjoy long walks in the countryside, especially when shared with four legged buddies taking in all the new scents and their tails wagging. And yoga, sometimes the pooches join me on the mat with a pose or two. It brings me great pleasure to be a part of this amazing dog loving community! I have a day job as an architect but I am available to dog sit on weekends and summer holidays coming up. Happy to discuss times that suit your schedule. I recommend a meeting prior to the first stay at your home to get to know each other and to discuss your dog's needs in terms of routine, feeding times, exercise and and personality quirks. I prefer to keep dogs on a lead when going for walks to ensure their safety at all times, in case recall is not guaranteed and to reduce chances of reactivity when over stimulated in the presence of other dogs and strangers.

I am a uni student with a long summer break, so I have a lot of free time to look after your pet. I am on holiday for a few weeks but I can work around that time. I am fundraising for a Kilimanjaro climb for Dig Deep, a charity helping provide clean water in Bomet County, Kenya - all proceeds go to this! About: We always had cats in my family when I was growing up, and I had my own adorable Lulu for 13 years. Over the past 10 years I've been trusted to take care of my brother's cocker spaniel Buster and by best friends four dogs!! I'm calm and caring and have a good knowledge of etiquette whilst out walking. I am self employed, work from home during the week with a lot of flexibility, work most Saturdays around the country but with quieter periods of the year. My flat is very secure and a very safe building. It's not massive but it's super cosy, I fostered cats for a couple of years and they all loved being here.

About: Lifelong dog lover with hands-on experience from puppyhood through senior years. Our spoiled 5 year old cockapoo currently runs our household. I'm comfortable with different energy levels and temperaments. Our garden gives dogs tonnes of space to explore, burn energy, and play. Your dog will get plenty of 1-on-1 attention and live their best life. You can expect lots of pictures from at home and on walks to let you know how they’re getting on. 🦮🐶 I work from home full time, so dogs get constant supervision and companionship. My day naturally includes regular walk breaks, and I can adapt to any schedule your dog is used to. Whether they're nappers or need frequent attention, I'm available throughout the day. I'm admittedly overprotective when it comes to dog safety, which I think most dog parents appreciate! Proper lead handling is essential, and your dog will have my full attention at all times. We have crates and pens available for dogs who like their own space or follow specific routines. Our 120ft garden lets dogs explore and run about on a long lead.

About: I have grown up with pets my whole life, from hamsters to cats, and more recently I grew up with two lovely black labradors - Charley and Flo. Flo is still bouncing around at the age of 12 and does come for a sleepover now and then, but I do miss having dogs around so am keen to share my love for animals with others. Whether its a walk around the block or staying over I would love to help out. I fit my schedule around what is best for your dog as I know many have their preferred routine. Whether that’s walking at certain times or eating at 3pm on the dot! Your dog will feel like it is at home. With toilet breaks around the clock and being played with to keep them entertained along with lovely long walks in the local green spaces, I will do my utmost best to make sure they are happy.

About: I have experience in looking after dog of all sizes and energy levels and can cater to their individual needs . My gallery includes just some of the wonderful dogs I have previously looked after :D I myself am the owner of a very excitable friendly pug. He is a wonderful sociable dog, and really thrives around other dogs. He is now very used to new friends coming to visit pretty much every week! We love to go for walks and will often go to park just outside our home. I do have a 7 year old child so please be honest about your dogs experience with children. I’m currently self employed working at home with very flexible hours, so I have plenty of time to play and tend to your dog. My pug ozzy would absolutely love a friend to play with! He is very playful but loves nothing more than a snooze on the sofa after the fun. If your dog is particularly active and needs multiple longer walks each day this is absolutely fine and I will make sure all their needs are meet. My home is on the smaller side but I do have two living spaces and a garden for your dogs to run around in. The garden is fully secure with a fence all around and a bolted gate. Your dogs are always welcome to snooze with me on the sofa and roam freely around the home.
