“Isla Rose has been a dream to petsit our two greys. She responded super quick to our request, we had a brief video chat and her calm, professional approach was readily apparent. Her family has a retired grey too so she knows firsthand exactly how to look after them. Isla Rose arrived promptly, we did a quick handover and we left completely assured the sit would be trouble-free. And that’s how it turned out to be; she sent us regular updates with pics and asked anything she wasn’t sure of, very respectful of our home. We returned to a calm home and two very chilled hounds! Simply, we can’t recommend Isla Rose highly enough. Thank you!”

“Susan was great with our 18 month lab Chester! We had daily updates on their walks and adventures I would highly recommend for anyone looking for any dog sitting services! Thanks again Susan!!!!”

“Volodymyr stayed at our house with our 2 dogs for 10 days and we were so impressed! From the very beginning, he was very communicative, gave regular updates, and wasn’t afraid to ask questions. One of our dogs has reactivity issues and Volodymyr handled him with ease. When we got home, our home was spotless and in pristine condition, and our dogs were very happy and well taken care of! We are very thankful for Volodymyr and we look forward to working with him again in the future! Highly recommend!”

“Emmanuel took amazing care of our puppy Eda. She is a bit wary of strangers, but he won her over and forged a great bond with her. He came to the house and met her before stating, and that was great because we felt totally comfortable leaving her with him. I would highly recommend Emmanuel and I'm sure we will be booking him again soon”

“Zak did an amazing job taking care of my three dogs whilst we were away! My dogs were happy and my home spotless! I’ll certainly be booking Zak again 🤩”

“Sarah was excellent. Very friendly and showed exactly as we agreed, she was excellent company for my old man and would definitely use her again!”

About: Together, my partner Chris & I have over 20+ years of looking after dogs. We have trained 3 dogs since puppies between us, so can manage and enjoy any aged dog. We have looked after dogs of all temperaments and have experience with rescue dogs. Both of our cockapoos love doggy friends, so your dog will need to be ok with other dogs company. Narla is very playful & Bonnie is quite reserved but so loving. We both work full time, so would only be able to pet sit over the weekend from Friday to Sunday and bank holidays. Our weekends are dedicated to taking our dogs on satisfying, interesting walks (for all of us!). We have an enclosed garden with a 6 foot fence, so your dog will be secure. We also have a crate if your dog needs this over night. We can also sleep the dogs in separate rooms if needed.

“Veronica did a last minute house sit for our two dogs while we were on holiday. Our dogs can be quite hyper active and bounce off each other's energy a lot, which can be overwhelming for some people, but Veronica was amazing with them throughout the whole stay. She took them on lots of walks, gave them lots of fuss and play, and it's obvious they really enjoyed her company. We got videos and photos throughout the stay which eased my mind as we hadn't left them both together with anyone before, so we weren't sure how they'd behave or react. She made sure the house was super clean and tidy when we came back, which was great as we got back very late and it was one less thing to worry about doing! Overall an amazing experience and we'd be more than happy for her to look after our dogs again any time. ☺️”

“Betty stayed in our house and looked after our dog & cat for almost a month . We received pics & videos daily and came back to happy pets and a spotless house. Happy to recommend her to anyone .”

“Hope was amazing looking after 4 legged gang, they were so happy and calm when we arrived back. Hope stayed in our home to care for them and kept us up to date with pictures and messages whilst we were away. I can’t recommend her enough, it’s so reassuring to know they are in good hands.”

About: I have experience with many different dog breeds each with their own walking needs and dietary requirements! I have a level 2 in animal science, care and welfare, I am able to do group walks or individual walks! I also keep a log of all preferences made by owners of their dogs! I have always loved dogs, every since I was little and nothing makes me happier than seeing a happy dog enjoying a walk, I think it is so therapeutic and when people work a lot it’s good to have that reassurance that your dog has been on a fantastic adventure and will be so pleased to see you, Their water bowl will be full all day and cleaned and refilled every day, the food bowls will be cleaned every day to ensure the highest quality of cleanliness and to prevent bacteria, after muddy walks I clean the paws before we go into the house I make sure all walking equipment is secure before we leave, and with your permission I will use treats as a reward during the walks with lots of play time and time to chill out.

“We had a great experience with Katherine. She was prompt, took excellent care if Gus and kept us informed throughout the sitting. I would recommend her to others and if we are back in Oakham I would book her again!”

“Total peace of mind having Clare looking after Charlie, for a weekend :-) Clare stayed in contact with regular messages and photos and it was great to see how our (usually nervous) border collie settled with her! Would highly recommend :-) xx”

About: I may be new to Rover, but I’ve already got hands-on experience walking dogs back in Ukraine for friends, neighbours and family. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and always make sure they feel safe and happy. I’m calm, patient, and careful — especially with shy or energetic dogs. I’m also quick to notice their needs or changes in behaviour. I’m not just doing this for work — I do it because I love it. That’s what sets me apart. Pet care fits into my routine perfectly. I have a flexible schedule, so I can easily make time for regular dog walks or visits. I enjoy being outdoors, and spending time with animals is one of the best parts of my day. Whether it’s a quick walk or a longer session, I always make sure the pet feels comfortable, safe and cared for. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully to make sure the pet stays happy and relaxed in their familiar environment. I give them plenty of attention, keep to their usual routine, and always make sure they have fresh water, are fed on time, and get the right amount of exercise.

About: I have just completed my undergraduate degree in social work. I have grown up with dogs and cats all my life and looking after them is now just second nature to me. Back at home I have three dogs, Two Jack Russells and Border Collie cross; a very busy household! I have has caring responsibilities all my life growing up with these animals as we've never been without a dog in the house. I also have a cat, and so am familiar with looking after feline friends too! I am currently working a part time job in a social care sector. I am currently working a part time job, in a social care sector Wednesday to Friday. So am available Saturday to Tuesday to help look after your furry friends. I am honest and reliable, with great experience walking and keeping dogs entertained. I am looking forward to meeting your pets and getting to know their wonderful personalities.

“Maria was outstanding. I came home to happy, clean, healthy dogs and a clean house. She kept in touch with updates and photographs and asked questions that showed she cared and got things right for my furry family. I can't recommend her highly enough.”

About: Hi I’m Maddy, I’m located in Melton Mowbray but happy to travel to surrounding villages. I have many years of pet experience. I have 4 dogs and have looked after several of my friend’s dogs over the years. I look forward to hearing from you and your pet! I have 4 dogs at home so have lots of experience in looking after different dogs. I am happy to maintain your pets routine to the best of my ability.

About: I have recently opened a dog walking/ sitting business- check out my website (The Dog Walk Crew). I also have all social media’s for reference. I’m fully insured, dog first aid & CPR trained. I have my own cocker spaniel, Nelly, who is 3 years old and just the best! Pet care is my main job. Throughout the week, I do multiple group walks, home visits and solo walks throughout the day. Pet care is a constant routine in my life, looking after dogs all day everyday. I love spending my time with dogs and in the outdoors being active! I only offer boarding at the pet owners home. I have adequate transport, with crates or dog seatbelts in my car. I can suit your dogs needs- for as many or as little walks your dog may need. Play time and lots of cuddles will never be forgotten!

About: I have grown up on the farm surrounded with cats, dogs, chicken, goose and other farm animals since I was little. Cats and other pets are best companions. I have got two cats Luna and Sansa. I work during day time so could drop in to feed cats before or after work. If preferred, can do both- in the morning and evening. I would prefer to look after the pets at owner's house as not sure how my cats react if it would be at my place. DBS (previously known as CRB) checked. I could make visits before or after my work or both if required. I am off work weekends. If not sure, welcome to ask any questions. As there are two cats in my own house and unsure of their reaction on new pets in the house, would prefer to look after in cats owners house.
