Her family has a retired grey too so she knows firsthand exactly how to look after them. Isla Rose arrived promptly, we did a quick handover and we left completely assured the sit would be trouble-free. And that’s how it turned out to be; she sent us regular updates with pics and asked anything she wasn’t sure of, very respectful of our home. We returned to a calm home and two very chilled hounds! Simply, we can’t recommend Isla Rose highly enough. Thank you!”

About: Together, my partner Chris & I have over 20+ years of looking after dogs. We have trained 3 dogs since puppies between us, so can manage and enjoy any aged dog. We have looked after dogs of all temperaments and have experience with rescue dogs. Both of our cockapoos love doggy friends, so your dog will need to be ok with other dogs company. Narla is very playful & Bonnie is quite reserved but so loving. We both work full time, so would only be able to pet sit over the weekend from Friday to Sunday and bank holidays. Our weekends are dedicated to taking our dogs on satisfying, interesting walks (for all of us!). We have an enclosed garden with a 6 foot fence, so your dog will be secure. We also have a crate if your dog needs this over night. We can also sleep the dogs in separate rooms if needed.

“Veronica did a last minute house sit for our two dogs while we were on holiday. Our dogs can be quite hyper active and bounce off each other's energy a lot, which can be overwhelming for some people, but Veronica was amazing with them throughout the whole stay. She took them on lots of walks, gave them lots of fuss and play, and it's obvious they really enjoyed her company. We got videos and photos throughout the stay which eased my mind as we hadn't left them both together with anyone before, so we weren't sure how they'd behave or react. She made sure the house was super clean and tidy when we came back, which was great as we got back very late and it was one less thing to worry about doing! Overall an amazing experience and we'd be more than happy for her to look after our dogs again any time. ☺️”

About: I have experience with many different dog breeds each with their own walking needs and dietary requirements! I have a level 2 in animal science, care and welfare, I am able to do group walks or individual walks! I also keep a log of all preferences made by owners of their dogs! I have always loved dogs, every since I was little and nothing makes me happier than seeing a happy dog enjoying a walk, I think it is so therapeutic and when people work a lot it’s good to have that reassurance that your dog has been on a fantastic adventure and will be so pleased to see you, Their water bowl will be full all day and cleaned and refilled every day, the food bowls will be cleaned every day to ensure the highest quality of cleanliness and to prevent bacteria, after muddy walks I clean the paws before we go into the house I make sure all walking equipment is secure before we leave, and with your permission I will use treats as a reward during the walks with lots of play time and time to chill out.

About: I may be new to Rover, but I’ve already got hands-on experience walking dogs back in Ukraine for friends, neighbours and family. I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and always make sure they feel safe and happy. I’m calm, patient, and careful — especially with shy or energetic dogs. I’m also quick to notice their needs or changes in behaviour. I’m not just doing this for work — I do it because I love it. That’s what sets me apart. Pet care fits into my routine perfectly. I have a flexible schedule, so I can easily make time for regular dog walks or visits. I enjoy being outdoors, and spending time with animals is one of the best parts of my day. Whether it’s a quick walk or a longer session, I always make sure the pet feels comfortable, safe and cared for. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I always follow the owner’s instructions carefully to make sure the pet stays happy and relaxed in their familiar environment. I give them plenty of attention, keep to their usual routine, and always make sure they have fresh water, are fed on time, and get the right amount of exercise.

About: I have just completed my undergraduate degree in social work. I have grown up with dogs and cats all my life and looking after them is now just second nature to me. Back at home I have three dogs, Two Jack Russells and Border Collie cross; a very busy household! I have has caring responsibilities all my life growing up with these animals as we've never been without a dog in the house. I also have a cat, and so am familiar with looking after feline friends too! I am currently working a part time job in a social care sector. I am currently working a part time job, in a social care sector Wednesday to Friday. So am available Saturday to Tuesday to help look after your furry friends. About: I have grown up on the farm surrounded with cats, dogs, chicken, goose and other farm animals since I was little. Cats and other pets are best companions. I have got two cats Luna and Sansa. I work during day time so could drop in to feed cats before or after work. If preferred, can do both- in the morning and evening. I would prefer to look after the pets at owner's house as not sure how my cats react if it would be at my place. DBS (previously known as CRB) checked. I could make visits before or after my work or both if required. I am off work weekends. If not sure, welcome to ask any questions. As a vet nurse specialising in emergency and critical care, I am dedicated to catering to pets with extra or special needs. I understand the unique conditions and requirements that some pets may have, and I strive to provide the highest level of care to meet those needs. I’ve also had the pleasure of working with the Greyhound Trust, where I learned the importance of compassion and dedication in animal care. Additionally, my time at a boarding kennel has given me hands-on experience with a variety of pets, ensuring they receive the love and attention they deserve. I’m passionate about providing the best care for your furry friends and look forward to meeting them! My current schedule is 7 days on and 7 days off. So having every other week off means I spend a lot of time at home! During my 7 days on I work from 15:30 - 00:00. I can care for pets during my week when I am working too if this suits your pet’s needs. I have a 3 bedroom property with a garden that has a large fence around it. I myself have two friendly dogs. Introductions will be made to ensure compatibility with pets. While I am happy to accept raw-fed dogs, I am unable to feed them raw food during their stay with me for the safety and comfort of all pets in my care. I kindly request that raw food not be brought into my home. However, I am happy to cater to raw-fed pets in their own home to ensure their needs are met while under my care.
