About: There’s always been dogs in my life whether it was my own or a friends. I had a flat coat retriever until I was 10 who I absolutely adored! More recently my parents got a setter doodle 5 years ago which has given me good puppy experience and I still look after her regularly. Also my partners mum is a dog walker in horsforth so I’ve helped her occasionally and met lots of different breeds. I love all sizes and breeds of dogs and happy to walk dogs on or off lead depending on owners request. Mid week I work in central Harrogate 5am-1pm and I work every other weekend Saturday 5am-1pm, Sunday 7am-3pm. So I’m still available in the afternoon and evenings as well as some weekends. I’m not able to board any dogs at our house as we’ve got a couple cats and not much space. But happy to come pet sit! I will take on any instructions given and make sure everything is exactly how I found it.

About: I take care of pets as if they were my own child, I play with them, walk with them and play with them as they are always full of energy Me and my son (20 years old) both have jobs but as we work on different times we can always work around the time to take care of each animal, as I work during mornings until afternoon and he works nights. I regularly play with them, make sure that they have enough water for themselves and I also regularly take them on walks for toilet breaks

We treat every dog like our own - with love, patience, and lots of tail wags. Our flexible work schedules allow us to adjust our days around your dog’s needs. Since our own pup, Everett, has a bit of separation anxiety, one of us is always home - so your dog will never be left alone for long. We’re typically available most days, and we keep our Rover calendar up to date to reflect any trips or time away. You can count on us to be present, attentive, and responsive to your pet’s routine. For daycare and boarding, we provide extra beds, toys, and games to help your dog feel comfortable and entertained. If needed, we can fully dog-proof the house by putting away slippers, clearing coffee tables, and closing curtains for dogs that are sensitive to outside distractions. Our Labradoodle, Everett, will be a friendly companion for your dog throughout their stay. During longer visits, and with your approval, we may take your dog on extended nature walks in the nearby green spaces to keep them active and engaged.

About: My first job as a teenager was walking and sitting neighborhood dogs and I’ve lived with cats, dogs and other animals my whole life. I now volunteer at a rescue and vet practice and study pet first aid too I usually work weekdays from 9-3 so all visits will be after 3. For overnights I will arrive around 3:30-4:30 and leave in the morning around 8:30. I am able to do multiple drop ins after work and depending on location I can do early morning visits too. Walks are always on afternoons unless it’s a weekend. I am a very laid back person who has a calm and approachable nature with animals. I am trained in safe handling of animals, pet first aid and have years of experience dealing with all types of pets. You can count on me to always be attentive, calm and in control.

About: Ive taken care of dogs and lived in and around dogs since I was born. My family have had up to 7 dogs all shapes and sizes including terriers and labs. Fizzy, my girlfriend of 6 years has always had a dogs at home as well and professionally cared for and walked dogs at university. We are missing our dogs and just looking to get some dog love and support you while you are out or away! I work full-time from home giving me flexibility to walk dogs at lunchtimes or other times as well as work from yours if I am required to pet/house-sit. I like to fit into your pets routines in your home and am very flexible with that. Unfortunately cant have dogs in my flat but happy to follow your rules. When walking I always keep them on the lead to ensure safety and control.

About: I've been sitting both dogs and cats on Rover since 2022. As an experienced Rover pet sitter, I always prefer a meet up beforehand as I understand having a new person look after your pets might feel odd at first, but rest assured I've never had a bad experience! During the sitting, I will send daily updates and I'm happy to make these as frequent as possible. If you have any specific concerns, please let me know as I am happy to pay extra attention to make your pet most comfortable whilst I look after he/she/them. As a person I am warm, friendly and very caring. I enjoy keeping fit and being creative. I work remotely Mon-Thurs so have the flexibility to easily care for pets and put them first during the majority of the week and over Friday and the weekend I'm completely free to give them my undivided attention, lot's of love and care. I prefer to home sit so that pets are familiar with their own environment. It can be disturbing when a pet owner leaves but I have plenty experience making sure it's as smooth as possible. Many dogs and cats I've looked after were pandemic pets and have increased anxiety.

About: Throughout my childhood into my adult years, my family has looked after dogs for neighbours, friends, collegues and more. It was a wonderful experience. Going into my teenage years the tasks of walking, feeding, bathing and playing were put onto me and my brothers. I have looked after a range of dogs in size and age, from puppies to seniors and from a Daschund to a Great Dane/Labrador mix. I also have experience giving medicine to those who need it. I adore being around animals, and would love to make sure that your dog has a fantastic, fun time filled with playing and cuddles. I love walking, and would enjoy long walks in interesting and enriching places. I’m currently a university student and I have just finished a year abroad in France and Argentina. I will be at home with my family for the summer so I have plenty of time to look after your dogs. I am available for walks after 11am every day. I have a securely fenced back garden. I am also able to crate your dog if necessary or if you would prefer me to do so. I am very focused on ensuring the safety of your pet, and I will have my attention on them at all times.

About: I have been around dogs since I was 4 years old , if you ever needed to find me just look for the dog 🤣 I love dogs , I have had 3 rescue dogs , brought up / trained 2 puppies and loved and care for those dogs until they passed away ( aged 19 and 18) . I currently have a rescue dog and a 6 month old puppy . I work Monday to Thursday 9-4 but I am currently taking time off so will be around for your pets at all times until I go back to work. I have a fully enclosed fenced garden , I have 2 dogs to keep your dog company , i also have baby gates up so i can keep dogs separated if needed , I have crates if that’s something that is needed . I am very happy to do whatever the owner requires and what the dog/puppy needs from me

About: I have grown up around dogs since the age of 10. With 2 family cocker spaniels I am used to the craziness that having a dog brings to a household. I no longer live with my family dogs and miss being around them. I have experience with elderly dogs, one of my family dogs died this year at the age of 14 and she needed full time cars for months. We had a litter of puppies when I was younger, so I am experienced with younger dogs as well. I graduated from university 2 years ago and now work from home almost full time (I tend to go into the office once a week, but this is flexible). I would care for your dogs in the same manner you would. Whatever they need I am able to provide. I understand all dogs are different. I love long walks and they can accompany me daily.

About: With a childhood spent on a lively dairy farm in New Zealand, my passion for pet care was cultivated from a young age. I was 8 years old when I got my first puppy Winky (a one-eyed Corgi/Cocker Spaniel, she was born with an ulcerated eye, we had an immediate bond and I wanted to care for her straight away) we grew up together and she was my ultimate BFF! Surrounded by the companionship of dogs and cats on the farm (plus a few chickens and pet calves which I showed annually at the school Calf Club Show!). I love animals, taking care of them, spending time and playing with them – I have a love for all creatures great and small. Today, I share a home with Shadow, our 14 yr old black cat who is a much-loved member of our family and can generally be found snoozing the day away!
