“My dog Barney is a rescue and has separation anxiety and doesn't take to people very quickly, but in Molly's case he took to her straight away. Molly arrived on time and did a marvelous job keeping Barney occupied and out of mischief. His SA wasn't noticeable when I arrived home as he obviously felt safe and secure with Molly, so instead of getting jumped on all over I got a normal welcome back from him. I most certainly recommend Molly and will be asking her again in the future. Thank you Molly. Regards Cliff”

About: I first started caring for other peoples' animals when I was 11 years old. I made my own (very bad) website, and filled my parents' garden with hutches and runs, looking after rabbits and guinea pigs primarily. When I started university in 2017, I began looking after cats and dogs through a different pet care site (Tailster). I've cared for breeds from chihuahuas to huskies, and adapt my style of care based on the stimulation and attention they require. I adore animals; I currently live on a boat but if I had more space I'd be tempted to adopt my own dog (or two, or three...). I have my own mischievous tuxedo cat called Jeeves, who is skilled in nighttime gymnastics and turning on taps. Consequently, I cannot offer overnight stays or day boarding on the boat. Your dog wouldn't come back the same. I'm new to the Rover platform, but looking forward to getting started and meeting your pet! At the moment I'm working freelance, so I am extremely flexible with my time. I can work around your animals' needs and schedules as needed. If you're interested in my services, I'll talk to you about what your pet needs, and come to meet you. I ensure that I work within a pets' boundaries, and build trust with both them and you!

About: My family have always had pets! I have been brought up with cats, dogs, hamsters, guinea pigs. Animal care is my passion! My close family have cats and dogs, so if they’re busy or at work I do tend to help them out by taking them on walks. I have one cat, and I’m currently in the process of convincing my partner to rescue a dog with me! We both love animals so this is certainly the first step! I do work full time in a school, so I get all of the holidays off the same time as the students. However on the days that work, early morning walks/check ins or evening walks/check ins would be no issue at all. And of course there’s weekends that I’m free as well. My cat is super super loving and calm, my garden is fairly big and there’s a fence all the way around so there would be no safety issues

“As always, Marta did a wonderful job with our slightly mad rescue dog! If Marta is available again we will definitely rebook. I thing our dog prefers Marta to us 🤣”

“Tia was great. It was lovely to be able to relax and enjoy our day out with family knowing our dog was hapy and being well looked after. She sent us regular picture /video updates during the day that were reassuring and made us smile! We will definitely book her again. Thank you”

About: I’ve always been passionate about pets since I was very young and I couldn’t wait until I got older so I could get a dog of my very own. Almost 7 years ago I got my sweet cockapoo Nala she has changed my life in the most amazing way. She is reactive and it has definitely been a journey working with her to help give us both a better quality of life. Through my journey with Nala I have learned a lot of patience, compassion and empathy I’ve also learnt how to be extremely alert. I have cared for many of my family’s pets and am passionate and ready to help the wider public with the knowledge and skills I have gained in almost 5 years. I have also recently completed and achieved extensive knowledge through a trusted pet sitting and dog walking course. I’m nearing the end of my dog trainer course through The Dog Training college a positive reinforcement company giving me extensive knowledge on dog behaviour. I’m happy to say I am available most days during working hours after I finish work at 12 so normally (12-7) with enough warning I’m quite flexible to help when needed for overnight stays and visits. I offered pet visits and pet care in your home and I will care for your pet like it’s my own I will ask for the pets routine and where the pet stays while you are away and I will follow those instructions to give you peace of mind while away from your pet. With my near qualifications as a dog trainer it helps me to assess and make sure your dog is as safe as possible.

About: I’ve taken care of mainly dogs and cats; but do have experience with small mammals, birds and fish. Have grown up with pets and have 2 cats of my own now. Who are over 10 yrs old. Have dog and cat sat for family and friends over the last 10 years I am available early morning and evenings daily, I am home Friday to Monday, but have a flexible lifestyle as a self employed gardener and looking to do more work with animals. I am the primary care giver to my cats; feeding, litter trays, claws, fleeing, vet appointments etc. as well as cuddling, and playing. So I am able to do all the above for anyone else’s pets that I care for.

“Hilary house sat for us with Luna at very short notice and we were very happy with everything. Excellent communication before the booking including a visit to meet Luna. We were then kept updated on a regular basis with pictures and videos. Luna clearly had a lovely time and visited some new places and met some new people which she clearly enjoyed. The house was spotless on our return. Thank you Hilary 😊”

About: I am a big animal lover and always have been surrounded by animals, I would always look after my sisters puppies and my aunties dog while they were out or away and I was always happy to help out I’m currently free all the time anytime so I’m available everyday, I can be available from 8am to any time in the evening and I’m available on weekends as well I have a big field at the back of my house so I take my dogs over there so that they can run I normally take them out for 40mins- 1 hour and then I feed the dogs dry food twice a day once in the morning and once in the evening

About: I work full time but my role is fully remote, meaning I can be with your fur baby 24/7 providing all the love and snuggles they deserve! With my role being remote, I thought I’d use it as an opportunity to spend time with some gorgeous little creatures and help out pet parents. I know first hand how stressful it can be trying to find care for your fur babies when you go away! I’ve got a lot of experience with dogs of all shapes and sizes having grown up with rescues all my life. I also have a lot of experience caring for others pets including cats, I always tend to be the one my friends and family go to when they need a pet sitter as they all know how animal mad I am and will always jump at the chance to care for any animal! This has lead to them recommending me to the wider public helping me build a sizeable portfolio of pet sitting. I work full time but my role is fully remote, so I can be there to provide constant love and fuss for your pets 24/7. I am a genuine animal lover and truly believe your pets are family. I do everything within my power to ensure pets are cared for exactly how their owners have requested. I honestly see it as a privilege and a treat to give an abundance of love and cuddles to any creature!

About: I have grown up with dogs around me, from Spaniels, Cockapoo's and Staffies and always love having a dog around for company. I have looked after many families and friends' dogs over the last few years, and would love to make it a more regular thing. You can trust that I will take the very best care of your dog day and night, and happy to share heaps of pictures and videos throughout the day, so you can relax knowing they are having a great time. I am a working professional currently working in the office maximum. 3 days per week, one of which is usually a Monday. I am also generally home on the weekends, so can be fully flexible to dog walk, sit or board. I live in a large two bedroom first floor apartment, in a gated complex with gardens and whilst I may not have private outdoor space, I am an active person with a goal to achieve 10,000 steps each day. Whether that is setting me up for the day with a coffee walk, a lunchtime walk to take a break from my desk or an evening walk to unwind... I like to get outdoors and in the fresh air as much as your dog does! Living in Sawbridgeworth, I am spoilt for choice with walks around Pishiobury Park, nearby fields or a stroll along the river, so your dog will not be far from a good run and play on the grass. I live in a secure apartment, with several of my neighbours having dogs so it is a dog friendly building. When I work from home your dog won't ever be left for an extended period and if I have plans, I will be sure to check in advance that you are comfortable for a couple of hours. I prefer to take only one dog at a time, unless they are from the same family, and happy for your dog to roam freely in the apartment so they feel comfortable.

About: I care for my family dog, as well and friends, family members, and neighbours often trusting me to look after all their pets. Very active so I’m willing to take the doggies whereever they need to go. I work in a school setting so I am currently available everyday until the 3rd September, and often will have long holiday periods off where I can remain just as flexible. I am aware every animal is different and all have different safety needs. But I am very observant and have experience in handling difficult and reactive dogs so will always try my best to make sure dogs and cats feel safe and comfortable.

About: I have had dogs in my family since the age of 13. We had a Briard, Teddy for many years who was an huge dog and was loved very much! My partner has also had dogs in his family since the age of 10 and his family currently have an adorable Shei Tzu called Cookie. We are both active people who go on a walk at least once a day so we would love to assist in taking pressure off of you to walk your dog. We also have already been helping to dog sit for our friends and family when they go on holiday. Your pet will be staying with myself and my boyfriend Charlie. We stay in most weekends (will just need notice). We both work from home in the week and one of us are always home every day of the week. As mentioned we are both active people and walk everyday so would fit in with our schedules. We have a fenced garden which can be used. We have lots of downstairs space with a living room, dining room and kitchen. We can use a crate if needed.

About: With years of hands-on experience as a devoted dog owner, I bring a deep understanding of canine behavior, needs, and communication that goes far beyond basic pet care. My bond with dogs is built on empathy, consistency, and respect—values that shape every aspect of how I nurture, train, and connect with them. What makes me unique is my intuitive approach to individual dog personalities. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all care. Whether it’s building trust with a rescue, managing high-energy breeds, or creating routines that support both mental stimulation and calm, I tailor my approach to each dog’s temperament, age, and background. From daily walks and training reinforcement to grooming, nutrition, and health monitoring, I treat every dog as if they were my own. Over the years, I’ve cared for puppies, seniors, and special needs dogs, gaining practical knowledge in everything from socialization to medication management. I’m not just experienced—I’m passionate. Dogs aren’t just pets; they’re companions, teachers, and family. That belief drives my commitment to giving them the best life possible. I am available morning noon and night I can also come and walk your dog whenever you need. I can also do long or short term boarding. I’m an active, animal-loving woman with a real passion for spending time with dogs. I have a secure, fenced garden that’s perfect for safe outdoor play, plus I’m lucky to live near beautiful open fields—ideal for long, enriching walks and plenty of sniffing adventures! I truly understand that dogs are sensitive, social animals who don’t enjoy being left alone. That’s why I’m committed to giving them plenty of attention, companionship, and care throughout the day. I love to play, cuddle, and simply be present with them, making sure they feel relaxed, happy, and loved at all times.

“Annie looked after my cat Simba while I was away, and I couldn’t have asked for a better caregiver. From the very beginning, she was warm, professional, and incredibly attentive to Simba’s needs. She made sure he stayed on his feeding schedule, gave him plenty of playtime and affection, and even kept me updated with photos and messages, which gave me real peace of mind. It was clear that Simba felt completely comfortable and cared for in her presence. Annie is not only responsible and dependable, but she genuinely loves animals and treats them like her own. I would absolutely trust her with Simba again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a loving and reliable pet caregiver.”
