“Kristen was absolutely brilliant with Bilbo She welcomed a meet and greet session and made sure Bilbo was comfortable with her pets. I instantly felt comfortable in leaving our four legged family member in her care. She kept me updated with pics and how he settled on the first night. I would strongly recommend Kristen and would be looking to re book in the future.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters? I only care for one family’s dogs at a time—no mixing, no stress. Your dog gets exclusive attention, a calm environment, and all the comforts of home. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or quiet companionship, they’ll be treated like part of the family in their own private retreat. A true home away from home. I can provide as many what’s-app updates and photos as you require. I work full-time, but from home, so your dog will have company throughout the day. I may need to pop into the office for a few hours once a week, so your dog should be comfortable being left for up to 3 hours. I provide two walks a day and plenty of cuddle time in between. I’m available for dog sitting Monday to Sunday, whether you need day care, a couple of days, or longer holiday cover. I only ever care for one family’s dogs at a time, so your pup gets my full attention in a calm, home-from-home environment. I ask that dogs are fully toilet trained, friendly, and love a snuggle as much as I do! I offer pet care in my own home, where I live with my long-term partner, Tom. We have a secure, fenced garden for safe outdoor time and plenty of space indoors for your dog to relax. I tailor care to your dog’s preferences, happy to crate them in the evenings if that’s what they’re used to, or let them snuggle up on the sofa if they prefer. I’ll admit, I’m often guilty of morning cuddles in bed, it’s a cosy way to start the day! Walks are part of our daily routine, and I’m happy to walk your dog on or off lead, depending on their recall. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, happy, and completely at home while they’re with me.

About: I’ve taken care of family dogs since I was 11. My husband and I have two french bulldogs of my own and have fostered other dogs. I’ve raised one of my dogs since he was a puppy and the other is rescues which came with his own needs and quirks! I have experience giving dogs medication as well as working with older dogs. Doggy day care and boarding in my home are very dependant on the situation. We would need a meet and greet (as per all services) and your pets would need to be happy to play and be around lively dogs. My day job means I can work from home so as long as you have wifi I can be with your pets during the day. For longer stays if I need to go into the office I have my husband who lends a hand. He also comes in useful if you have a whole pack of dogs that need walking! I am used to walking dogs and keeping them company. I have dog seat belts in my car if required for vet visits or further afield walks. I can tailor your service to how your dogs enjoy being. For more laid back dogs i’ve taken them out with me to meet friends at a cafe, for dogs that don’t enjoy this, cuddles on the sofa are also good!

“I am so grateful to Karen for looking after Millie for me for 2 days. Millie is only 17 months old and can be a little nervous. But Karen is an absolute natural with dogs. She is lively and bubbly and so clearly loves dogs. The moment I met her I knew Millie was in safe hands and would be very happy. I have no hesitation in recommending Karen to anyone looking for dog lodging in the Gloucester area”

About: Dogs have always been such a huge part of my life – I grew up with them in the family and can’t imagine life without a wagging tail around. Over the years I’ve looked after lots of different dogs, both through Rover and outside of it, and I always find it such a joy getting to know each one. I recently rescued my 2-year-old pup, Rue, and she’s the happiest little girly. She loves her walks and making new doggy friends, so we’d both love to have other dogs join us for adventures (or for cosy cuddles on the sofa afterwards!). I’m caring, reliable, and know how important it is to feel completely at ease when leaving your dog with someone else. Your pup will always be treated like part of the family with me and Rue. I am currently working within the NHS, and have lots of opportunity to work from home. Myself and my partner are usually home all day on a Monday, Tuesday and Friday. This leaves a good opportunity for frequent company and/or toilet breaks. I have a good-sized, fenced garden as well as a large playing field nearby where Rue and I love to walk in the evenings. The kitchen floor is nice and cool for warmer days, and there is always space on my bed for those that like to be nearby at night.

“Lauren has been absolutely amazing with our dog, Murphy! From the moment we dropped him off, it was clear he was in safe, loving hands. Her home truly is a home away from home — calm, welcoming, and perfect for one-on-one care. Murphy was exceptionally well looked after, with plenty of long walks, cuddles, and playtime. We loved getting regular updates and photos, which really put our minds at ease while we were away. Lauren is friendly, professional, and clearly very organised — her calendar system made booking and communication a breeze. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Murphy came home happy, relaxed, and thoroughly spoiled! Would 100% recommend Lauren to anyone looking for top-quality, personalised care for their dog. 🐾”

Katie W.
“I highly recommend Katie to look after your pets, she is an animal lover through and through, in fact I think she loves animals more than most humans to be honest 😀. We have had our rescue dog Molly for 2 years, on the first day we had her, she was out in the garden in the heavy rain refusing to come into the house. Katie spent about 2 hours outside in the rain trying to earn Molly’s trust and get her to come inside, she didn’t give up until Molly was safely back inside the house which we eventually managed to do, since that day Katie has looked after Molly several times - either overnight at Katie’s house, or pop in to our house to feed and take out for a walk. Katie is my ‘go to girl’ if I need someone to look after Molly.”

Sam H.

“Sam was great and Toby had a fab time. Will definitely use again, thank you!”
