About: I’ve always loved dogs and have plenty of experience with labradors and greyhounds, as well as cockapoos and Jack Russells. I have loads of patience for nervous pups and trained my gorgeous foster greyhound to walk upstairs and to learn to be in unfamiliar public spaces with other dogs, as well as aiding in his recovery from enduring injuries and stomach complications from before he was rescued. The comfort, safety, and health of your dog are my top priorities. I’ve looked after golden retrievers, cockapoos, and Jack Russells for days and weeks at a time. I also was inseparable from my golden Labrador Meggie from when I was 7 to when I was 20 and would love to look after your brilliant dog with the same warmth, dedication and care. I’m in the final stages of my PhD in English Literature and will be spending significant time working at home until teaching resumes in autumn. Having the company and energy of a dog to break up the day would be such a boost and I’d be ready and able to walk and play with your dog as much (or as little!) as they require. I work part-time on Tuesdays but I’m otherwise available and my partner Michael will also be on hand in the flat to take care of your furry friend when he can! I live with my partner, Michael (photo 6), who also loves dogs, in a spacious flat in the southside of Glasgow. I have a fenced backyard and close access to Queen’s Park and Linn Park, and can also drive to any parks your dog might feel more comfortable in. I’m very sensitive to the individual needs and spirit of all dogs and will do everything to ensure that they’re relaxed, happy, and cared for whenever they’re with me.

“I honestly don’t think a written review can do Justina justice. I was really nervous about leaving my 4-year-old Jack Russell, Lenny, for four days—he’s never stayed with anyone outside of family. But from the moment we met Justina, he was absolutely smitten, and she was incredible with him. While I was away, Justina sent regular updates and photos, and I could tell Lenny was having the best time. She’s the perfect mix of professional and warm-hearted—her love for animals is so obvious in how she cares for them and how she communicates with you. She was also an amazing house guest. I came home to a spotless house—probably cleaner than when I left! I wouldn’t hesitate to have Justina and her partner look after Lenny again, and I’d recommend them to absolutely anyone looking for trustworthy, caring, and responsible sitters.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs from a young age, starting with auntie and uncles dogs to most recently family dog after Covid. Although only a co-parent, always happy to house sit. I work full time from home! Able to take dogs out walks during breaks or can snooze on the couch while I type away! Can also play with and feed throughout the day as home office is in living room. I live in a top floor flat, so will dog always be indoors with no access out. Will only get out during walks or toilet breaks.

About: I’ve been a dog person since I was 11, when my first dog Lady came into my life unexpectedly and utterly changed it. She was re-homed with us when her family moved abroad and from the moment she arrived, she became my dog. That bond was instant, magical, and honestly addictive. Since then, I’ve owned, loved, boarded, walked, and cared for dogs of all shapes and sizes and my life is fuller for it. I believe dogs are basically permanently furry toddlers. They need love, routine, reassurance, stimulation, and above all someone who treats them with the same care you’d give your own child. That’s exactly the kind of care I provide. I offer a calm, safe, affectionate home environment with plenty of company, structured walks, and space to relax. I take time to get to know each dog’s personality and routine so they feel secure and at ease while you’re away. Whether they’re a nervous first timer or a seasoned house guest, I tailor care to suit them. I’m happy to stay overnight, keeping your dog comfy, safe, and spoiled in their own space. You can relax knowing your dog is safe, happy, and genuinely cared for like one of the family. My regular availability for boarding is Friday evening from 7pm to Monday evening at 7pm, ( I can collect) perfect for weekend getaways or short breaks. I also have extra time during the summer holidays and festive periods, so feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help if I can! If boarding with me your pet will have access to a secure, fenced garden for outdoor time and play. While I don’t have crates myself, I’m more than happy for your dog to bring their own bed, crate, blankets, or comfort items, whatever helps them relax and feel at ease.

“Had the most relaxing, stress free holiday we've had in years all down to how well our 2 dogs took to Ashlynn. They loved her straight away and it was obvious from the start she is an animal lover. One of our dogs is not very good with strangers and even some friends of ours he has been around for years. Never goes near them for attention but he was all over Ashlynn. Worried he might even mope a bit now shes gone. She was in touch every day we were away with updates and photos which was great for us. Ashlynn was also very respectful of our home and ensured it was the way we left it. Not having to be worried while on holiday was great. We would definitely ask Ashlynn back with out hesitation. About: Having always had dogs growing up from golden retriever, to border collies to German shepherds. I have a huge passion for dogs and creating a good healthy bond/trust with them to ensure they can feel safe and at ease around me. I have experience puppy sitting and am currently looking after a young German shepherd puppy for a family member. I can travel via cycle and live next to Kings Park which has lots of open spaces for dogs. Currently working as an activities/sports coach and am looking to fill spare time by keeping active and earning. Often, I pop into family nearby to check up on German Shepherds (Bella aged 5 + Freddy under 1 years old). I am flexible where possible with time and will always do what I can to facilitate your pets needs. Experienced with big dogs and big walks mostly and have looked after high energy pups too. Can work with crates and any specific requirements. Always have toys/treats on hand so you don't have to worry about losing their favourites!
