“This was my first time using rover and I will certainly go back to John. Molly has had a great time, not sure she wanted to come home! I admit to being slightly apprehensive, but I had no need to be. She had good walks and lots of cuddles and I was regularly updated on her ‘holiday’. Thank you!”

“Caity is great! Fred seems to have enjoyed himself and Caity sent me daily updates. I felt Fred was very well looked after and very safe with Caity. I will definitely book Caity again!”

“Derek and Angela made Conall very welcome and our family very much at ease. They helped us out in an emergency and it was very reassuring to know Conall was in good hands when we went away on our holidays. I have no hesitation in recommending Derek and Angela and your dog will be in very good hands.”

“Mokey had a great stay with Kim, lots of great walks and cuddles! Kim sent us lots of updates with plenty of photos of their walks together. Kim made sure Mokey was at ease and spoiled her lots, and was a very tired dog when we picked her up. Would recommend Kim to anyone, she’s great with dogs and spends lots of time and energy making sure they’re happy!”

“We were nervous about boarding our reactive, senior dog for the first time and Allison did a great job taking care of all his needs and giving us regular updates. :)”

About: I am dedicated and reliable pet sitter with a passion for animals and over 13 years of experience providing exceptional care. Proven ability to create a safe, comfortable, and engaging environment for pets while ensuring their well-being and happiness. I’m currently not working, so I have plenty time to look after your pup. I am available on the weekdays as well as the weekends. I have a massive fenced back garden, and two friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your did if needed.

“Mike and Lorraine are excellent, our dog Baxter is so excited when we drop him off so we know they take great care of him. He also needs medication at set times and Mike always lets us know he’s had it so we don’t have to worry.”

About: Had pets since I was a kid. Love to go for walks on the beach with them and play for hours until we both are exhausted. I work from home so I am available at any time during the week and weekends. Any pet can stay for several days if needed. We live in a house with a fenced garden. Some days the neighbour's cat will come and spend some time in the house, but it can be kept away if your pet is not cat-friendly

About: I always had pets growing up, from hamsters, guinea pigs and rabbits, to two family dogs. Raising a family of my own now, I’d love for my children to experience a live-in dog; from cuddles to walks, poo-bags to slobber. My children are very affectionate but respectful, and would love the opportunity to learn some of the responsibilities attached to having a pet at home. We have a large garden, surrounded by large conifers, unfortunately it is not entirely fenced off and we are prone to wildlife such as foxes and hedgehogs frequenting, as well as neighbouring cats, so good recall would be required off-lead. However, we would work round this of course, and do plenty of walks also. I would intend to incorporate 3 x 30 minute walks during the day. I work within primary school hours, from home. So say, a 9am walk to/from school, and a 3pm walk for pick up, along side a lunch time or evening walk. Being at home all day, your pet would never be alone. They would have plenty of opportunities for cuddles, and then play when the kids come home. We can tailor the care of your pet to your individual needs. Some of our intended care plans have been described above, but happy to discuss in more detail on contact.

“Kristy send pictures every day of out sweet leia! Garden was great and the kids were really respectful of the dog but also playful! Really recommend would book again definitely.”

“Booked Siyi for another stay and now knowing Muffin (and her quirks), she was able to prepare for her visit by cooking up some tasty treats to make sure she had enough to eat. Muffin was taken on a wonderful adventure during her stay and once again, Siyi looked after her so so well. Thank you so much 🥰”

“Jo is an absolutely wonderful host, helping us out last-minute. And Nala (Jo’s dog) is the perfect friend for Ashlyn (our dog) to make on her “stay-cation”. Super awesome, highly recommend.”

“Waffle’s first overnight stay and he loved it! He was treated like family and his routine adhered too. He has an issue with lumps on his paw at the moment and his medication was given as directed and paw wrapped up well. Came back a very happy doggy!”

“I cannot rate Lucas and olive high enough… my lab had such a wonderful time staying there that I think she was a bit depressed to come home! She was looked after wonderfully and had the most amazing walks.”

“Sam was a fantastic host. He kept us up to date with daily messages, photographs and even short video messages. Delia settled in very quickly with Sam and his Labrador, Phoebe and had a wonderful few days. She is already booked in again with Sam. Thank you Sam.”

“Our second stay with Kathy and she was as brilliant as always. Teddy ran straight into her house when we arrived and it was so clear that he was really happy to be there straight away! Kathy gave lovely updates of what they were up to and it was great to see how much he was being cared for. We will absolutely book Kathy again and would definitely recommend her to others.”

About: I have owned 3 boxer dogs and even bred them in the past. Rearing 10 pups with the mother only having 8 teets was hard but rewarding work. I wanted to keep them all. I have always volunteered to sit for friends and families dogs, I quickly form strong bonds with their dogs and love seeing their excitement when I walk down the garden path. I love being outdoors however being accompanied by a furry friend on a walk makes it even more enjoyable. I'm currently available full-time for pet sitting, walks and care. I can provide overnight services in my home or daily walks as required. I have no children so it will be just you're pet and I during the day. I have a fenced garden with mixture of lawn and gravel. I have a large park directly across the street from my home and walking access to Dalkeith Country Park without crossing any busy roads.

“FANTASTIC! Agata was exceptional, I was completely relaxed and I knew that my Zara was in good hands. She went above and beyond (Zara was getting treats, long walks and even training sessions). I recommend Agata and I will be certainly booking her again!”

“Jessica looked after our working cocker Peggy for the weekend while we were celebrating our son’s 21st birthday. Peggy clearly recognised Jessica’s house and couldn’t wait to get inside (a good sign!). She enjoyed walks, playing in the garden and relaxing in the house. Jessica let us know how Peggy was getting on so we were able to relax. Thank you Jessica!”

Eliza S.
“Eliza was fantastic! She looked after our two French bulldogs, along with her bulldog Kobe who is also an amazing and friendly dog, while we were away and we came home to two very happy dogs. Our smallest dog Taz, who is usually shy, was really comfortable with her from the start. Eliza sent regular updates and photos, and you could tell both dogs loved spending time there when we returned. She even offered to take them for an extra day for free if we were to jet lagged to pick them up straight away. I highly recommend Eliza and would definitely book her again!"”

Marco Antonio F.
“Marco is a friendly and trustworthy guy who has the biggest heart and a massive animal lover! Marco has looked after my cat many times whilst I have been away abroad and has always put my mind at ease, with photo updates and the occasional video! My cat Ozzy is on daily medication and can be a very fussy eater however this has always been taken care of with no issues. Marco really takes the time and effort to get to know your pet, Ozzy loves when Marco stays and is always a bit sad when I return from my holiday's and his friend has to leave!”
