“Steve has looked after my dog twice now, would absolutely recommend him, updates throughout the day, plenty of walking and exercise for my dog who has a lot of energy, my dog has come home tierd and happy”

About: In my years, I have helped look after dogs (including helping my mum with our labrador's litters), cats (including my cat giving birth under my bed and raising the kittens until they were ready to go to their new homes), guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, gerbils, fish and even a snake! I love all animals and never feel a home is fully complete without at least one! I have a zero-hours contract job and a child for whom I share custody on a 50/50 basis. I have availability during school hours, evenings and alternate weekends. If you are happy for my son to be a part of the pet boarding/sitting process, then I would have more frequent availability. In whatever capacity I am entrusted to care for your pets, I will listen to, and follow, all of your instructions. I will give your animals the same level of care, attention and love that you give them and will work with you to ensure a successful service is provided.

About: I’ve taken care of a variety of dogs since i was young, being relied on by both family and friends to care, feed, walk and keep company of their pets. I am active so will happily accommodate to your dogs needs. I will treat your dog as-if they were my own! With plenty of photo updates throughout! I’m able to work from home and are currently in the look for a new job venture. I’m friendly and trusting and love to get out for long walks, hikes and adventures no matter the weather. I have a fenced back yard that’s connected to next doors (they’re joint with an opening) however the whole yard is enclosed from getting out on the street. Pets are allowed to roam around the house and happy for them to be on furniture - I will make your pet as comfortable as i can whilst they’re staying with me. Happy to work with the owner in caring for their pets the way they do to help keep up with routine.

“Danielle is amazing with Rolo, so loving & takes him on walks during the day which she tracks. Very good with dogs, you can tell she’s had years of experience. He loves going there. Would highly recommend 😊”

“Paula and John looked after my little dog Panzer at short notice. I felt very at ease as he was well welcomed into their home with cuddles and treats! They took excellent care of him and he came back happy and tired after a lovely long walk. I would happily recommend and wouldn't hesitate to bring him back for another visit!”

“Our rescue staffie Daisy had a great second visit to Sam's house for doggy day care, we received lots of lovely updates and Sam is so friendly. We have now booked Daisy in for a weekend stay as we know she'll be so well cared for!”

About: About Me Hi, I’m Gina, a lifelong dog lover based in Derby. I used to have a rescue lurcher who I adored, so I understand the love, care, and patience dogs need, especially those with a sensitive or unique background. Sadly, I lost my dog in October, and while I’m not ready for a new pup of my own just yet I’d love to offer a loving and reliable home to care for yours. My Home & Experience I have a pet-friendly home with a secure, good-sized, enclosed garden that’s perfect for playtime. I also have a large dog crate available for dogs who prefer the comfort and security of their own space. Whether your dog loves cuddles on the sofa or quiet naps in their own corner, I tailor my care to suit their routine and personality. What I Offer • Dog sitting (in my home) • Overnight boarding (in my home) • Flexible availability • Comfortable, calm environment with one-on-one attention I know how important it is to feel at ease when leaving your dog in someone else’s care, so I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay. Feel free to reach out with any questions or to arrange a meet & greet! I work from home Monday to Friday which means I’m around throughout the day to provide consistent care, supervision, and company for your dog. My routine is flexible, so I can easily accommodate morning, lunchtime or evening walks, feeding schedules, playtime and quiet rest periods tailored to your pet’s needs. Dogs are never left alone for long. In the week they may be occasions where they are left for no longer than 2 hours at a time and weekends no longer than 4 hours. During the day, I work from my home office upstairs where dogs are welcome to join me and relax by my side while I work. They will enjoy a calm, quiet environment with plenty of attention and reassurance. I have a good-sized, enclosed garden, perfect for supervised playtime and regular toilet breaks throughout the day. There’s also a large dog crate available for dogs who feel more secure having their own space but this is optional depending on your dog’s needs. In the evenings, we can unwind together downstairs. Pets are welcome on the sofa for cuddles and company. I tailor care to suit each dog’s routine and personality, whether they prefer playtime, peaceful naps, or lots of affection. Your pet will feel safe, settled and part of the home.

“Took care of my boy for a day, provided pictures and communicated well with pictures provided during the stay. Cara did an amazing job of settling Ein in and he was so sad to leave. Highly recommend.”

About: I've had two dogs in the last 14 years. Ringo and Sam. Couldn't face losing another. Making new friends and taking good care of them, that's the next best thing. I'm retired, so have plenty of time on my hands. I play golf at the weekends but finish around 10am. The rest of the weekend is normally free. I live in a secure gated area with gardens to the front. No other pets in the community at present. No pet issues with neighbours.

About: As a animal lover and zoology graduate, I am very passionate about animals. My range of experience from working at an RSPCA rescue centre to Chester zoo have allowed me to be able to deal with a range of different animals and personalities, whether that’s timid or friendly. I’m currently working part time looking to get some more working and animal experience to help get a career with animals. I am available most days I will make sure to respect the pet owners home and keep things tidy and the way that I found it, being respectful of both the owner and pets needs.

“Helen is brilliant with Milo. She sent me some cute pics and updates through out the day. He’s having a good sleep on the sofa right now, tired after having lots of fun play time with Helen’s lovely dogs. Very very happy with the service and will be booking with Helen regularly.”

“Our dogs were so happy to be at Helen's, we had no worries about leaving them there as they went off playing with Helen's dog straight away. I got photos of them on walks and relaxing at the home, during their stay - which was very reassuring. When we picked the dogs up, they were excited to see us but equally ran back to Helen for a cuddle when we were chatting, that tells me that there were no problems. We will definitely be using Helen again.”

“Freddie had a great time with Carla! She kept us up-to-date with photos and videos throughout their time together, and made us feel at ease. She and her partner were very kind and welcoming and we'd definitely come back!”

“Couldn't of been happier with Joe looking after Mylo while me and my girlfriend visited Alton Towers for the day. He's an 11 month old Staffy so is very excitable at first when meeting new people and being in new places and he handled it perfectly and kept me updated over the day. He was tired on the way home so was obvious he had been on good walks and well played with. Also Joe's a really nice guy and would definitely use him again when I next visit the area.”

Maisie L.
“Maisie took care of my cat, Luna, for a week while I was on holiday, and I couldn’t have asked for anyone better. As a work friend, I already knew she was warm, reliable, and great with animals—she has pets of her own and genuinely loves caring for them. Maisie kept me updated throughout the week with messages and adorable photos and videos of Luna, which really put my mind at ease. When I picked Luna up, it was clear she had been loved and well looked after. Lucy B.
“Lucy has been an animal lover all her life. Her naturally caring and inquisitive nature, coupled with her kindness and large capacity for empathy, has moulded Lucy into a wonderful young woman. Lucy was very attached to the cat she helped raise as a child. Always wanting a pet dog, Lucy unfortunately had to make do with cuddly toys each fluffy toy she named and adored as if they were real. Lucy continued her passion for animals into young adulthood, where she studied for three years for a degree in Zoology and of course she passed with flying colours . Lucy has just completed a summer placement in Chester zoo where she worked with various animals. Lucy became very attached and was very sad when her placement came to an end. She is hoping to visit again in the near future. Lucy’s love of all things furry has continued to grow and she hopes to secure a future working with and caring for the animals she hold so dear to her heart.”
