“Thanks so much Jamie, Ted had a great day with you and it was a massive relief for me. I was able to enjoy my nephew’s wedding without worrying 🙏❤️ We will see you again, I’m sure. You are highly recommended. Jane and Ted 🐶”

“Fantastic service by Emma, Chester and Nash got on like a house on fire very professional, also managed to get him to do lie down ( we’ve been trying for a while, he just ignores us 😂) could recommend enough definitely use again for days out with the kids”

“Thank you Sian and Minnie for welcoming and looking after Keano. It was great to have a ‘meet and greet’ before he came so that he had chance to say hello to Minnie and have an explore of your lovely home and garden. It was also great to see a previous recommendation from a greyhound owner as they are a very ‘unique’ breed!!! It’s the first time someone has looked after Keano for us and we were very nervous about the thought of it, mainly because he is so clingy, but you put us completely at ease. The ‘dog spam’ throughout the day was great, especially Keano meeting the local dogs in the park. 😃 We feel lucky to have found you and hope you will be happy to have Keano visit/stay again.”

“Vicky was the best doggy friend for our french bulldog, he had the best time ever, and Vicky was so flexible and we were late back to pick him up and Vicky very kindly was so kind. We would 100% recommend.”

About: I have a 5yo bully mix called Lennie who is my best friend. Having Lennie has allowed me to explore the world of dogs and their needs. Lennie is very experienced in having other dogs in our home regularly, and excels particularly well with puppies as he is very patient, tolerant and likes to play gently. We have raised a little of 5 cocker spaniels and also have a 3 month old lurcher puppy who will reside in kennels as a working dog. Lennie has been pivotal in these pups becoming confident around large breeds, and all 5 of our puppies new owners have commended us on our rearing of them and how confident and well rounded they now are at 6 months old. I have poured a lot of time and money into researching how to keep my dog well stimulated, both physically and mentally and find great pleasure in learning how to keep him happy and healthy. I have joined Rover to look for dog friends that would enjoy our daily countryside walks with us, whilst enabling us to support those who may not always have to time to provide such exercise! I know many amazing walks around my area, you can rest assured that your dog will be well exercised and mentally stimulated when they return to you. I am also available for overnight boarding, you can be safe in the knowledge that your dog is in a loving home away from home environment with lots of cuddles, mental stimulation, and around other dogs for company. I work from home 3 days a week so am able to provide regular interaction and exercise with the dogs. Getting out on a walk is the perfect way for me to break up my day at home. I can provide 1:1 walks if necessary in instances where your dog is reactive, I have expedience with this so you can be confident that I your pup will be well managed. However, if your dog is comfortable with other dogs I would also bring my own along too. Dogs in my care can expect lots of attention and love, whilst also prioritising their own needs and wants. I appreciate all dogs have completely different personalities and would tailor my care to each individual. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and wherever they please in the house. Both my front and back gardens are completely secure and away from public access with good space to roam around, play and relax if the weather permits.

About: I’ve been in love with animals since I was little, I’ve studied animal behaviour and biology for three+ years at university and did and animal management course in college. I myself have three kitties who are my life, now I moved to university I don’t get to see them as much so I’m wanting to fill that void and look after/walk other peoples babies. I’ve walked dogs throughout my childhood and into being an young adult due to so much work experience with college and university, I think my experience will keep your mind at ease because I have a log of experience with dogs. Right now I’m part time working, I have specific days off which are Tuesday and Wednesdays. When I am working I had 4-5 hour shifts so can fit around that. My shifts are done couple weeks in advance so I can schedule in advance if needs be If it is for a couple hours board I have space for a crate if needed, I do live in an apartment and would only be able to take on small dogs but I have near a lot of fields and walking paths I will be able to take the dog out as frequently as you would like. Walking wise I love walking myself so your pup will get the exercise it needs whilst you are away

“Gordon & Angela are a lovely couple and Macky enjoyed his stay for the day with Angela very much , I don’t think Macky actually wanted to come home at the end of the day. We had to arrange Mackys stay at very short notice and Gordon & Angela could not have been more helpful in sorting for us. We were left at total ease all day that our pooch was being well looked after by very experienced people and we know we can confidently say we will be calling on them to look after our grumpy ,fussy pooch again. Thank you so much. Cliff & Esther”

“Our senior staffiex Pepper had a lovely day with Bethany sunbathing in her flower beds and going for a nice stroll by the river. Bethany communicated really well with me beforehand, sent pictures and updates during peppers stay and was really warm and friendly. We felt really happy and reassured knowing that Pepper was having a nice stay. We would definitely ask Bethany to care for Pepper again in the future.”

“Merlin has been for overnights and day care with Amy now and the service is always amazing! He comes home happy and tired (despite snoozing his day away!) and obviously enjoys going to visit Skye - he bounds over to greet her from the car and is never in a rush to leave! Amy keeps us updated throughout the day which puts my mind at ease too”

“Samantha's partner Max looked after Bobby. It was a meet and greet for everyone so we could use Samantha and Max again, I felt happy leaving Bobby there and both dogs seemed to be happy with each other. I will definitely leave Bobby again.”

“Molly was absolutely brilliant with our 5-month-old cocker spaniel, Bailey! She took the booking last minute and made the whole process so easy and reassuring. From the start, she was friendly, responsive, and clearly loves and knows dogs. We got lovely updates and photos throughout the day, which really put our minds at ease. Bailey even got to spend the day with another dog, which was a fantastic chance for her to socialise, learn, and make a friend. We’re so grateful to Molly for looking after Bailey so well. Wouldn’t hesitate to book again.”

About: Hi! I’m Shannon, I’m from Virginia but moved over here 7 years ago. I have been a dog owner for the past 20 years and currently have a jack x dachshund named Norman who also loves to make friends, play and go on long walks. I am experienced in caring for all ages of dogs, administering medication, and adhering to specific dietary needs. In my house, dogs are family and can snuggle on the couch or play in the fenced in garden. Your dog would be in safe and happy hands with us :) I work from home so am always available for drop in visits and walks. Your dog will not be left alone, as there will always be someone here (me or my husband) to ensure your dog is cared for :) I have a cheeky jack x dachshund named Norman who is super friendly. We have a fenced in garden to play in. We want your dog to feel as comfortable as possible so we allow dogs on the bed and sofa for snuggles. We love to explore new areas and go on long walks. I am currently on maternity leave until September, which I will then be working from home so am able to take the dogs out for lunch time walkies and evening. I treat dogs as if they are my own, they become family! We have lots of snuggles and playing. We enjoy taking the dogs on walkies and exploring new places.

About: Since the age of one years old, we had a family dog, Daisy. Daisy and I were very close and I would walk, feed and give her constant love and attention, until we unfortunately lost her in 2018. Now, aswell as an earner, I would love to look after your beloved dogs as I know how much they mean to you! However, I would also love to have dogs in my life again as it hasn’t been the same ever since Daisy passed away. Dog sitting was my main job in the summer of 2018 which I loved with great passion. I met some amazing characters, went on some beautiful walks and had some lovely cuddles. In 2021, we adopted our now dog, Mo! He’s a gentle and beautiful boy who has required lots of patience and love. I am around friends and families dogs as much as I can and am always willing to help out! I work Monday to Friday but am happy to fit your pets routine and schedule around mine. I’m happy to work weekends or to find compromise to best suite your pets routine. I have a fenced garden which is perfect for your dogs to play in. I also have a dog safe home which we have tailored to our own dogs needs.

Leigh H.
“Highly recommend Leigh as a dog walker due to my awareness of how well she carries out her own role as a dog owner. Leigh is very aware of the responsibility attached to being a pet owner and ensures her dog’s needs are met to a high standard through daily physical and psychological activity.”

Jazmine G.
“Since I’ve known Jazmine, she has always been obsessed with animals. So obsessed that she has been studying for an animal behaviour degree at university for the last 3 plus years. Her passion for animals is highlighted by the fact that she has had a number of pets throughout her life. 3 cats and 3 hamsters which she has loved and looked after so dearly. I believe that Jazmine’s knowledge on animal behaviour coupled with her passion for animals and animal care would make her the perfect candidate for this role. In addition to that, she is dedicated to always providing high quality service and very reliable when called upon. Jazmine becoming a dog caregiver would be the perfect job role for her and I believe due to her personality and knowledge on animals she is tailor made for this type of role.”

“Jake is my 19 year old son. He has a kind, caring, loving and calm personality and our two pets that he grew up with benefited from his love. Sadly our dog was put to sleep following a long and happy life 18 months ago. Jake still misses him greatly so I am delighted to know that he is joining Rover. During his holidays from uni last summer Jake looked after Winston, a young and very vibrant dog. Jake loves dogs and his calm and sensible approach will make him s real asset to Rover.com”
