About: I have previously worked with many doggy companions and would love to share my experience and build a long (treat-bribing) relationship with your furry pal! I currently work as a part-time ESL teacher, with classes taking part in the evening. This frees up my daytime to run around with pooches. I am happy to follow all the doggy house rules you may have! My promise is to treat your pet with the utmost love and care.

About: I’m a keen hiker and know all the walks around here so your dog can have a different walk every day. And if it’s too hot, the river is a hop and a jump away for a nice cool off. I love walking and being outside whatever the weather. An early morning walk, and a good afternoon walk is always my weekend routine - with a dog or without! With a cat who will be friendly or make himself scarce, we have a small enclosed back garden with a small lawn, and the great Dales countryside on our immediate doorstep.

About: Since I was 18, I have walked, cared for and pampered my family and friends' dogs, treating them as I do my own, with love! I have lots of time to focus purely on my doggy daycare business, so can offer a 1-1 service to fit your dog's varying needs. I have a walled garden/yard area, 2 dogs of my own, so yours can play with friends! I've a large crate for safe spaces too!

“Ellie is a lovely person. I was very nervous about leaving my puppy with someone else for the first time but she put me at ease straight away. Her own little dog is so adorable and gentle. Would highly recommend and will certainly use again in the future 🐾”

“Jordan, her partner and her three gorgeous dogs are absolutely perfect sitters! Jordan made sure she really got to know our dog before he stayed with her, and as a result we felt so comfortable leaving him with them. Communication was amazing, and we received lots of photos of our dog during his stay. He was so sad to leave! We will definitely be using Jordan's services again :) thank you!”

“Gracie did a great job of looking after our West Highland Terrier; Buster, he had a great stay, great communication, and we would definitely recommend. Louise & Tim Bentley”

About: I have a 5yo bully mix called Lennie who is my best friend. Having Lennie has allowed me to explore the world of dogs and their needs. Lennie is very experienced in having other dogs in our home regularly, and excels particularly well with puppies as he is very patient, tolerant and likes to play gently. We have raised a little of 5 cocker spaniels and also have a 3 month old lurcher puppy who will reside in kennels as a working dog. Lennie has been pivotal in these pups becoming confident around large breeds, and all 5 of our puppies new owners have commended us on our rearing of them and how confident and well rounded they now are at 6 months old. I have poured a lot of time and money into researching how to keep my dog well stimulated, both physically and mentally and find great pleasure in learning how to keep him happy and healthy. I have joined Rover to look for dog friends that would enjoy our daily countryside walks with us, whilst enabling us to support those who may not always have to time to provide such exercise! I know many amazing walks around my area, you can rest assured that your dog will be well exercised and mentally stimulated when they return to you. I am also available for overnight boarding, you can be safe in the knowledge that your dog is in a loving home away from home environment with lots of cuddles, mental stimulation, and around other dogs for company. I work from home 3 days a week so am able to provide regular interaction and exercise with the dogs. Getting out on a walk is the perfect way for me to break up my day at home. I can provide 1:1 walks if necessary in instances where your dog is reactive, I have expedience with this so you can be confident that I your pup will be well managed. However, if your dog is comfortable with other dogs I would also bring my own along too. Dogs in my care can expect lots of attention and love, whilst also prioritising their own needs and wants. I appreciate all dogs have completely different personalities and would tailor my care to each individual. Dogs are allowed on the furniture and wherever they please in the house. Both my front and back gardens are completely secure and away from public access with good space to roam around, play and relax if the weather permits.

“Looked after my doggie Alfie, sent pictures and update to reasure me, lovely lady, great with my dog who is very anxious and needed a home from home environment.”

“Oreo had a really good time with Jamie, good with updates, plenty of pictures of walks and play dates. Jamie was fantastic, I was really worried about leaving her as it’s our first time apart, Jamie put that to rest easily on the first night with pictures of Oreo having made herself at home.”

“Winnie, our Border Terrier, had a wonderful stay with Marjorie (Marnie) whist we were on holiday in France. She enjoyed lots of interesting walks with Marnie and her family which she clearly enjoyed. I know this because Marnie shared lots of wonderful pictures and videos of their adventures - which we enjoyed hugely and reassured us that Winnie was in very good hands. I can recommend Marnie unreservedly and will certainly use her again in the future.”

“Leah and her partner are absolutely lovely, welcoming people. They took the time to find out about my dog and his likes/dislikes and did everything in their power to accommodate him. I feel really comfortable knowing he is in safe hands. Highly recommend!”

“Thanks to Gordon & Angela for looking after Angus again, this time whilst we had an extended break away from home. Regular communication through his stay, meant that we were able to relax knowing he was in safe hands.”

“Firstly a million thank you's to Sian & ( resident spaniel) Minnie for looking after Bernie and treating him like your own. When I did my meet and greet I felt instantly welcomed into Sians lovely home. We had a long talk about what bernie is like and that I needed a sercure garden with high boundaries so Sian's property is perfect for this. My Bernie is a handful but this didn't phase Sian. On drop off day I was reassured more than once that Bernie would be more than fine, (im an anxious dog mum) Bernie was a little reluctant at first for me to leave, but went to play ball and that was that, I managed to sneak away knowing he was a happy boy. Sian updated me on Bernie's progress, cuddles we're in progress and their day-to-day adventures included lots of fun and affection, he has been treated like a king. (He is shattered too). Wearing out a active spaniel is not easy. ☺️ I can 100% highly recommend Sian, she is kind, caring & most certainly an animal lover. I will be booking again once I have another trip.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have years of hands-on experience caring for pups of all sizes and personalities. I’m confident handling dogs with medical needs, and I have a calm, patient approach that helps anxious or energetic dogs feel safe and relaxed. I work from home full-time, which means I can give your dog plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and boarding most weekdays and weekends. I live in a clean, pet-friendly flat and have access to safe and scenic local walking routes nearby. Your dog will get regular outdoor time and plenty of stimulation. I create a calm, secure space indoors, and I’m happy to follow your pup’s routine. You’ll also get regular updates and photos while you’re away.

“Diane is a great doggie sitter, has lots of experience and makes your pet her number 1 priority, sends regular update to but your mind a rest, would definitely recommend and book again.”

“Daphne has now stayed with Mark and Phoebe a few times and she just loves her time there - especially getting to run around with her bestie Dug. She's a very attached little dog, but barely even glances back at me once we're at their house! We couldn't ask for better care for Daff, and it gives real peace of mind knowing that we have the best sitters near by.”

“Well what can I say about Paula. Absolutely brilliant. Great meet and great with Paula and her dog Radley who's just a budle of joy. Left our dog who's a cockapoo aged 7 never stopped at anyones home other than family members houses. But Paula and her husband made our dog feel very welcomed, got some lovely messages when we was away to keep us in the loop on hows he's been and what they have been up to. Great service and would highly recommend. Thanks again Arnie loved his stay.”

“Thank you so much for looking after Tessa. She had a lovely time and was very well cared for. Kerrie sent me updates throughout Tessa's stay and it was clear that Tessa was happy and had a great time. Thank you 😊”

“Emma was absolutely amazing with Elvis. She sent photo updates of her cuddling him and he settled really well with her and her dog Nash whom Elvis loved to snuggle up to. Emma also helped us out in a really tricky situation as I had accidently booked the wrong dates but this was not an issue for her and she kept him an extra day with extra cost for night which is understandable. We really don't know what we would have done without this extra service as we was still abroad at the time. I can't thank Emma enough and would not hesitate to book her for Elvis in the future. He came back so happy, and she is a really lovely and friendly person. 😊”

About: Having worked in veterinary nursing and most recently for a pet rehoming charity, I have a strong passion both professionally and personally for pet welfare from both an emotional and physical viewpoint. I have had a variety of dog breeds my entire life within our family, ranging from Patterdale terriers to labradoodles. I have experience with a variety of breeds in my professional life working in a vets and pet rescue/rehoming from Bulldogs to ex-racing greyhounds. I enjoy having the peace of mind that a pet is in a home environment versus a kennels whilst the owners are away enjoying themselves. * please note that if you wish for your pet to be boarded with me, they must be dog social and confident as they will be in the company of my own two dogs a Jack Russell terrier and Labradoodle. I will always ensure your dog has met my dogs prior to the boarding date to ensure they are happy in each other's company.* My life revolves around my pets, for boarding at weekends I would tend to do first walks and breakfast around 7 am. Your dog would then join me (and my dogs if wanted) for the day either out running errands / going for a long walk, or, coming to the Farm with us (on lead) and spending their day outside having fun with my dogs walked in fields. Equally, when your pet is in my care, if you do not wish for them to be taken to our farm this is ok and Ill tailor my day around what you wish for your dogs exercise needs. Snack / enrichment around 3-4pm Tea and Last walk around 6pm Evening toilet break tends to be 10pm I have a fenced garden my kitchen window looks out on to with a secure gate I have two social Dogs who would be in the House with your Dog. Your Dog would be asleep in the kitchen seperated from my two dogs who are kept in different rooms, so your dog has their downtime and sleep needs met.

“Honestly cannot recommend enough! It’s clear Vicky loves dogs and she knows how to make them feel loved too!! I was sent constant updates, photos and videos during my week abroad. Parker my pug was treated like an absolute prince. She has 2 dogs herself and they also made my dog feel safe and welcome. From the videos he didn’t seem to miss me in the slightest, he was very happy and settled running about doing zoomies! I’ve owned dogs for 15 years and I feel like I’ve found the holy grail! Vicky is the best dog sitter or dog care you’ll ever find!”
