“Jeanette was absolutely FANTASTIC with my girls, I actually don't think they wanted us to come home after the week they had with her haha! She even made them their own little Sunday dinner with a yorkie, and they absolutely loved it. I got regular updates with photos on where they were going and how they'd been that day, which was incredibly reassuring, especially this was my first experience using a dog sitter I didn't personally know. I would love to use Jeanette again, and I'm certain Patchie and Lucy would too! To add to the already fantastic experience, Jeanette was kind enough to do the rest of our washing, which was genuinely such a massive help. Overall 12/10, fantastic lady! xx”

“We have 2 dogs, one is a Rhodesian Ridgeback who is a large dog that has seperation anxiety. Jamie looked after our dogs for 8 hours while we attended a wedding. Jamie is a natural with dogs. Jamie sent photos and reassured us that our dogs were okay. We highly recommend Jamie and will be using Jamie again in the future.”

“Amanda had great communication before the sit, she arrived early in order to chat about the dogs & their routine. Regular contact & messages during the sit. My dogs were obviously very settled with Amanda and I was happy with how she treated and managed the dogs and also her care & respect for my home. Would recommend and I look forward to seeing Amanda again.”

“Liam was a true lifesaver and managed to fit us in last minute, he took great care of my dog and 3 cats. He went above and beyond for us, even travelling 2 hours to sit in our home, I would recommend Liam to anyone”

“Lucy covered 3 x overnights with my two indoor cats. She was very prompt to respond and very kindly came to visit twice before her booking started. I noted that she had a very calm, gentle approach and both my cats took to her straight away. Lucy was consciousness when learning about the care required and coped well, despite having no previous experience, of administering medication to one of my cats that became unwell a few days before Lucy's Sit. Lucy left my home clean and tidy during her stay and she left written feedback on my return. I have left Lucy some practical advice and feedback for her future Sits.”

“Bruno loved his time with Kelsey and we cannot rate her highly enough. She is so attentive and treatvl our home with the utmost respect. We are hoping to continue walks from time to time and are hoping she can look after Bruno again for our next trip.”

“Sam was super friendly, and absolutely amazing with our dog, she did a meet and greet a few days prior and handled Bruno (who is rather energetic) really well Not much notice was given for the booking, which makes everything even better as she saved us a lot of bother Would highly recommend to anyone Thank you Sam, it's greatly appreciated”

“Megan was an amazing cat/house sitter. She was excellent to work with throughout the entire process. She came over twice before our trip to go over things around the house and to meet the cats. Megan is super sweet with the pets, you can tell she loves them! We left confident that our cats were in great hands. She was very communicative while we were away. We came home to happy cats :) I highly recommend Megan, we will definately be sure to book her on Rover again if needed.”

About: I worked in a kennels and cattery for 3 years. I have learnt how to properly handle dogs on lead. I can read a dogs body language really well and can bond with them quite easily. I can provide medication when needed. I can also notice when dogs are unwell or may need medical attentions I have just moved to the area and would like to get to know the area a bit more. I miss working with animals so much. I have alot of free time. I provide cuddles and feed them. I generally make sure they are feeling ok. My dogs get let out every 2 hours as they are old and sometimes forget they need the toilet

About: I have always had my own dogs and trained and cared for them from puppies. I am trusted to look after friends and families dogs often when they are on their holidays! If I can make a difference to your dogs like then that will make a difference to mine! I’m currently working at a security centre Monday- Friday 1pm-8pm so I can do mornings from 8am during the week up until 11am. And I can do evenings from 9pm. I am free all weekend to spend with your doggies and hopefully from next year I will be doing this full time! When I care for pets in a client’s home, my top priorities are safety, comfort, and trust. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely — from feeding schedules to favorite toys — to keep pets in their normal routine. I make sure doors and gates are secure, use leashes at all times during walks, and keep a close eye on pets both indoors and outdoors. I treat every pet like my own, giving them plenty of love, attention, and playtime while keeping their space clean and stress-free. Your pets’ happiness and safety come first, always.

“Thanks to Elise I was able to leave the house without any fuss from OB & Alice. This was the first time I’ve left them with a pet sitter and I was delighted to see that they had such a good time in my absence. We look forward to leaving them in the care of Elise again soon”

About: I have been surrounded by animals ever since I was born. I grew up with a cat and when I got older I got a dog. My love for animals was inspired by my sister who is a vet, she shared her passion with me through books, tricks and general knowledge of how to best look after animals. I even have experience working at a stable, looking after 22 horses and the stable dogs. As I moved away to pursue education, I had to leave my pets at home, so looking after your pets would fill my heart as I miss mine every day. I am currently in the middle of writing my master’s dissertation and I have a bit of time on my hands. My schedule is quite flexible. I alter the way I look after your pet depending on your pets needs, dietary, how many walks etc. I am good at making pets feel safe and at ease.

About: I have two hyper dog, and enjoy taking them out on long and adventure walking throughout Durham. I often have currently finished my A levels I have lots of free time to care for pets take care of friends and family pets who have gone away on holiday. I have currently finished my A levels. I have lots of free time to care for pets to be able to walk and to pet sit. I will insure that the pets are regularly walked, given plenty of water, that they are in a safe environment where they won’t run off where they can safely spend there day

About: I have been passionate about animals from a very young age, and I’ve been caring for dogs since I was just 8 years old, starting with helping to raise Newfoundland puppies. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of their needs and behaviours, especially in those early, formative months. I’ve also had the joy and responsibility of owning four cats since I was young, which has taught me a lot about patience, attention to detail, and the importance of daily care and affection. In addition to my personal experience, I’ve worked at an animal care college, where I gained valuable hands-on training in animal welfare and handling. Twice a week, I’ve also walked and cared for a variety of dogs, further strengthening my confidence and connection with animals of different breeds and temperaments. On top of this, I’ve volunteered at a cat shelter, providing comfort and support to cats in need. I take pride in being reliable, gentle, and genuinely dedicated to the wellbeing of every animal I look after, treating them with the same love and respect I give my own pets. I work part-time, which gives me a flexible schedule with mornings and afternoons free every day, allowing me plenty of time to care for pets. I also have certain days where I’m available all day, making it easy to accommodate longer pet-sitting or dog-walking needs. While my primary availability is during the day, I’m sometimes able to work evenings as well. Importantly, I’m available every morning, so you can always count on me to start the day looking after your pets with care and attention. When I’m looking after pets, whether in my home or theirs, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I stick to the owner’s instructions for feeding and make sure there’s always fresh water available. I’m happy to change litter trays or bedding regularly so everything stays clean and cozy. I also spend plenty of time playing and hanging out with the pets to keep them happy and relaxed while their owners are away. If a pet is a bit shy, I give them space and time to come to me when they’re ready — but even if they don’t, I’m perfectly comfortable just being nearby, quietly observing and making sure they’re comfortable and well looked after. I treat every pet like they’re my own, making sure they get lots of attention and care so they feel right at home.

Felicity W.
“Reliable dog walker. Dogs enjoy their outings and come back happy and well exercised. Is conscientious and caring for the dogs needs. She ensures they are kept safe and under control.”

Dakota H.
“Dakota attended college with me for 3 years studying animal care whilst living in a zoo. For 3 years our entire lives were caring for animals, from dogs, to bush dogs and tarantulas. Iv known here since I was 4. She’s never not owned and cared for other peoples pets even when she’s busy or struggling. She does everything for everybody but has always lived and breathed to help animals more vulnerable than us. I honestly don’t think there would be anyone who would love and care for your pets as much as Dakota. She’s one of a kind in all aspects.”

“Left my dog with Toni for the weekend. She was brilliant! She cared for her as if she was her own, she sent updates and pictures every day to let us know how she was doing, and was just overall fantastic! Toni is a lovely and caring person in general and has the care and compassion of a pet owner. I could never trust anyone else with my four legged friend. I cannot recommend Toni enough!!”
