“After moving recently, we no longer had family nearby to check in on our cat regularly whilst we were away so this was my first time using Rover to book pet services and we were so lucky to find Nia, she was absolutely incredible. I couldn't fault anything during her time doing daily check in's for us. From the beginning her communication was clear and consistent and even did a house visit beforehand to double check everything and ask questions. The daily reports were helpful and reassuring to us that we had left her in the best hands and we returned home to a very happy cat which was everything we wanted especially as she can be nervous of new people. Wouldn't hesitate about contacting Nia in the future for any house visits, she was simply perfect for what we needed.”

About: We have 4 years experience volunteering in a dog rescue centre, 6 years experience raising and training our family dogs, aswell as 2 years experience caring for cats. I am currently working full time Monday to Friday, I am free on Friday evenings and most weekends. My partner Nathan works varied shifts and often has weekdays off. If you are interested, please give us a message and we will let you know if we are available. I care massively for animals and I believe they should be treated with love and lots of cuddles! I always aim to cater to a dogs needs with lots of 1-1 time and I will plan my day around a dogs needs e.g if they are anxious I will keep them busy and never leave them.

About: I am a student veterinary nurse, and I’m currently in my second year! I’ve worked at a two different veterinarian centres for a year and a half. I also worked in a cat shelter for 6 months and helped in dog walking for a year! I am currently at university so I am very flexible, my hours of learning aren’t long, so I can attend to your pets needs whenever it’s needed. I have no animals at my home, this ensures all pets who are frightened of other animals will be safe in my home. I also have a small back garden for them to be able to use the toilet!

About: I have experience of our own 7 rescue dogs, and have cared for and walked a variety of friends and families' dogs, from Pekinese to Lurchers, Dachshund to EBT and Staffies Self employed photographer, previously worked for a children's charity for c.12 years. I am a life long animal and nature lover and have a huge soft spot for rescue dogs. Particular experience with Staffies, Labrador and EBT. Being self employed I can be very adaptable with my time. I have good attention to detail so your dogs' needs will be catered for, whether it be to pop in and play fetch or to give hour-long belly rubs 🐾

About: Comfortable handling a variety of dogs, from malanois to pugs! I'd love to have my own dog and promise to treat yours like my own whilst looking after them :) I have my 'standard' availability set on my profile, but I will try to help with any request so please send a message if you have any questions/requests! :) I'm available for boarding and walks at the weekend, and potentially some week days too. Would be very happy to make early morning or later evening visits. I have a fenced garden (fences are approx 6ft), with some grass and some patio. I live close by to a park that is dog friendly. I have a small car, and could transport smaller pets that have a crate or car harness.

About: I have grown up around animals and have many qualifications and experience of working around different species of animals, particularly around dogs and small mammals I would like to use the time I have free to help owners who require dog walking services. At the moment, the only service I will be offering is dog walking and drop-in visits but in the future, I would like to expand my services to open more opportunities for owners to use my services. My availability is very flexible throughout the week: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 10 am-6 pm, and I do offer weekend services if required on Saturdays throughout the day and Sundays after 3 pm. At the moment I am unable to offer care for your pets in my own home but I can commute to collect your dogs and take them for walks in secure dog walking areas/fields as well as lead walks on pavements.

About: I’ve always had a dog in my home for as long as I can remember so have a true love of them, I have taken care of other dogs since the age of 15 including boarding and simple drop by. I am also training to be a vet at university and have other qualifications in animal care and welfare that I studied prior and during university I am currently at university however am looking for summer work mostly around July-August perfect for those going on holiday for the school summer holidays I used to take my dog out at least once a day if not twice, her feeding routine was twice a day and this has been similar to most dogs I have taken care of, some dogs need more exercise then others and that I will take into consideration. I often wake up early and let my animals out to the toilet at this time. Routine varied depending upon the household so I am more then happy to take into consideration the routine normally set by owners such as yourself :)

About: My university degree included training on animal husbandry and animal health, allowing me to give your pets the best treatment during home visits and walking. Whatever the needs of your pets, I can provide. This is especially true as I have my own elderly cat who requires constant care, from medicines to grooming, as she can no longer look after herself as well as she used to. I absolutely love animals and would love to spend more time with them! I am currently unemployed after finishing an undergraduate degree in animal science, where we were trained in animal handling, so I am free most times. With my degree, I am trained in animal handling to the highest standard of safety. I've been around animals all my life and have a good understanding of how to keep them safe and happy.

About: Ive taken care of all different type of dogs since I was young, but have been doing it as more of a job the past year. I have experience in taking care of different sizes and ages of pets, mainly dogs. I have had pets most of my life and taken care of them at home and taken them on solo walks as well as bathing and grooming them. I have also helped train family pets and my own pets throughout the years. I am currently a student in university and have a part-time job on the weekends, so I have a lot of free-time in the week. I am free all day wednesdays, tuesday nights, monday after midday and thursday morning and nights. I can easily put your pet into its crate, if they have one. I would make sure on walks they are safe and secure in their lead/harness and only walk them in public and safe areas. I would also make sure that while in the owners home the pet is well looked after and carefully watched to ensure their safety.
