“I am so glad I found Gemma to look after my pets, whilst I was on holiday. She was very friendly yet professional and made sure she knew all of my requirements before I went away- even though I only booked with her days before I went away! I really appreciated the photo updates and good communication. Highly recommended.”

“Emma was absolutely fantastic with my cat Puma, and she dropped in once a day at our place. I got lots of gorgeous pictures sent through over the four days, and Emma also came for a meet and greet beforehand. You can tell she just has a way with animals as Puma absolutely loved her straight away! 100% would recommend Emma :)”

About: Hi! We’re Lily and Joe, a couple based in Halifax. We both work flexibly from home (spacious and comfortable) so can offer lots of attention to your dog. Lots of green space around my village for walks. We have vast experience dog sitting for friends/family as well as having my own family dogs for 20+ years. Myself and Joe live an active lifestyle and love going for walks. We look forward to caring for your lovely dogs! I work flexibly from home so can be there to care for your dogs every need and let them out for toilet / walk as often as needed. The back of my house is fenced off and secure, and my house doors are always locked for security. My house is open plan and spacious so very comfortable for your pets.

About: I bring a deep understanding and genuine love for animals to every pet I look after, whether big or small, fluffy or scaly! I have extensive experience in animal care, including pet sitting, walking, and training. I have volunteered at various animal rescues, including local cat rescues, and even a ferret rescue. As well as at college taking care of all kinds, from reptiles to farm animals. This has given me valuable hands-on experience with different kinds of pets and their unique needs. At college I studied Level 3 in animal management and welfare, ensuring I’m well-equipped to provide professional and compassionate care. I have experience with caring for dogs who may require extra care or patience such as elderly dogs and those with arthritis, as well as little puppies full of energy who are still learning. Having had cats and dogs myself, I know how important stability and comfort are, especially when pets face changes in their routine. I have two rescue cats at home, and this personal experience inspires me to offer as much reassurance and familiarity as possible during your pets time with me. When I'm away house sitting, my partner is at home with our cats. I’m truly passionate about keeping pets happy, active, and loved while you’re away. Currently I am available when needed. I'm on a zero hour contract with no work available for the next few months. Therefore I am very flexible. When looking after your pet in your home, I ask everything I need to know on the initial meeting to ensure safety. This includes any preferences or routine. Such as, some dogs I have cared for could only walk on soft ground due to their sensitive paws. Ultimately, treating and caring for your home and pet as if they were my own and with the same care and respect I would expect from anyone looking after mine.

About: I am a dog owner of a 3 year old Jug and 3 guinea pigs. I know how hard it can be when life gets in the way and you need support for pet care. I have an attention to detail and put owner's wishes at the forefront, to ensure the highest quality of service. I am currently in between jobs in schools at the moment and I am looking forward to flexible working and meeting owner needs for their pet. I have an eye for detail and will fulfil all instructions in your home and on walks. I make decisions with the best interests of your pet in mind.

About: I’ve cared for dogs and cats my whole life, from playful pups to gentle seniors. I’m reliable, flexible, and treat every pet like my own - making sure they feel safe, loved, and never lonely. ------ I've been caring for pets professionally for the past couple of years often in tandem with my girlfriend, Florence (who is also on Rover). Whether old or young, timid or bold, I focus on making every animal feel safe and comfortable. I treat every pet as if they were my own: giving them the right balance of playtime, walks, rest, and attention. I’m reliable, punctual, and flexible, happy to work around your pet’s routine and your schedule. From energetic park walks to quiet companionship at home, I adapt to each animal’s needs. I’m also experienced with feeding, administering basic medication, and caring for pets that need a little extra support, including those who can’t manage stairs. My goal is simple: to make sure your pet feels happy, cared for, and never lonely while you’re away. Right now I have plenty of time in my schedule, so I’m available for pet care most days and times. I usually do sittings and walks with my girlfriend, Florence (who also has a Rover profile), so your pet often gets the benefit of two friendly faces instead of one. We’re flexible, reliable, and happy to work around your pet’s usual routine. In my home, pets are welcome to make themselves completely comfortable: sofas, beds, and cosy corners included. We have plenty of space, with parks and countryside just outside for energetic dogs who love long walks, and a peaceful, comfy environment for pets who prefer to relax. Cats are kept safe indoors with plenty of spots to explore or curl up in. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I’m respectful of your space and your rules. I follow your pet’s routine closely, keep their environment safe, and make sure they always feel secure and cared for. Whether it’s a big adventure outside or a quiet day at home, I adapt to each pet’s needs.

“Florence did a great job looking after our two cats. One new, one old. Mr Happy needed attention and love, Hendrix needed food and letting indoors! Very pleased with the service and would definitely recommend Florence to be taking care.”

About: I have grown up in a house that could’ve been considered a zoo as we always had at least two dogs and three cats at one time if not more with chickens, ferrets and fish too. This gave me a strong love towards animals and I love caring and looking after a pet and the joy they can bring. Now I have moved away and into my own home I am looking to help out with other peoples pets. I would prefer to look after small - medium dog breeds and cats as this is what I am used to and feel I could provide the best care for. Dog breeds we had whilst growing up were a Westie, working cocker spaniel and chihuahua x papillon so I’d be more than happy to look after a dog if a similar size. I work a full time job 9-5.30 Monday-Friday but I can do after or before work visits depending on the request. At the weekends I have full availability if my weekend is free however if I have any prior commitments before confirming your booking I can always try to work around it and let you know to see if it could be a good fit or not. Once you state out the care needs and characteristics of your pet I am more than happy to cater to their needs whether they’re a playful cuddler or a chill out I need my personal space type I am more than happy to adapt to what they need to make them as happy as possible and for you to feel comfortable and confident that I am giving them the care they require.

“Caysey was perfectly professional and provided excellent care during her drop-ins for our cat. We loved seeing the photos she sent for peace of mind, and she was consistent in her timings. Definitely recommend Caysey!”

Kay C.
“Kay is very personal when she first visited the house to do a meet and greet with my two dogs she asked if they had any reaction to treats as she brought her own treats. I’ve had different dog walkers over the year but then I got recommended Kay and wouldn’t look at someone else for walking my dogs. She used to do recall and training with my dog and did some one to one work with him when out on the walk.”
