About: As a pets owner with 6 years of experience, I have two mini dachshund dogs and one cat myself. I also helped friends out to look after their pets when they are away, so I’m experienced as a pet sitter, and I love getting to know the personality of each pet I care for. I’m comfortable with all types of animals, whether they need lots of exercise, cuddles, or some extra patience. Let’s schedule a meet-and-greet or have a chat online so I can learn all about your pet’s needs and make sure we’re a great fit. I look forward to meeting your furry (or feathered, or scaly) family member soon! I work from home basically everyday and I don’t have too much workload, I’m sure I can give your pets enough attention and look after them well x I live in a house with fenced big garden. The neighbourhood I live is safe and very pets friendly too. I have two mini dachshunds, they are well trained and friendly. I’m sure your pets will get along with mine x

“Nigel was fantastic looking after our Rolo. He took him for a walk and looked after him very well, all being on very short notice from my end. He was also great with his communication. I will definitely be asking Nigel to look after Rolo again when needed ☺️”

About: My partner grew up with border terriers and, after very little convincing, we have been the loving owners of our own border for the last four years. We first considered dog boarding when we struggled to find care for our own dog, having never been in kennels and being used to a very loving and cosy environment, we knew it was essential to find him somewhere he could feel like he was part of the family. To be honest I'm not sure who was more nervous, me or him! We realised we couldn't be the first people to face this issue and, after speaking to close family (who it turns out were in exactly the same boat) we decided to open our home and start offering boarding for our favourite four legged friends. Our own dog is very social, he has a calm temperament and enjoys tennis balls, getting muddy and curling up on the sofa in the evening. We live in a house with a secure garden and easy access to lots of green space and streams for walks. Our own dog has quite strict dietary requirements so we are comfortable working with any needs your own dogs may have. We understand it can be a horrible feeling leaving your dog, whether it's the first time or the hundredth. We aim to reassure you that we will treat your pet with the same love, care and attention we would want for our own. We will be responsive to your unique requirements and rest assured you will receive many pupdates along the way! One of us works from home, meaning we can be flexible with pick up/drop off times. Whilst we usually only provide weekends, during the school holidays we have midweek availability. We have a house with a very secure garden. We use nearby fields for most of our walks and would follow your own instructions as per how often etc your dogs need exercising and what they like. There will be someone with your dog at all times whilst in our care. We offer a pre-meeting to ensure our own dog will be comfortable with yours (and vice versa) and are very happy to send updates and images of your dog's stay with us.

“George and Sophie! My dogs are both in love with them and cream crackered, which are both huge fur 2 high energy, difficult dogs, with both separation anxiety and reactivity! Thank you G&S xx”

About: I have had dogs, cats and horses all of my life and have always been a huge part of it. I had bearded collies for 35 years and now have a sprocker and bichon. Having beardies and now a sprocker has given me lots of experience with crazy, energetic dogs. I work part time from home and my husband is retired. We are at home 90% of the time apart from the usual popping out so our dogs are never left more than a couple of hours. We have a large fenced garden and live at the bottom of the beautiful Lickey Hills . Plenty of lovely walks for your fur baby. We will accommodate whatever exercise you tell us your dog needs. Our dogs are allowed in all rooms of our house and sleep in our bedroom. Again, we will accommodate whatever sleeping arrangements your dog has. We can provide a medium crate if that is what you dog is used to. We can only take dogs who are friendly.

About: I am an experienced dog carer who regularly looks after my sons Jack Russell and my daughters Labrador. I am newly retired and love dogs. I have reduced my rate as I am new to Rover. I would very much enjoy looking after your furry friends and taking them for lovely walks. I am responsible, reliable, and committed to following your pet's specific routine and requirements. I will ensure excellent communication with pet owners ensuring they are kept informed of daily activities. As an experienced and dedicated dog sitter, I will ensure that every dog in my care receives the attention, affection and specialised care they deserve. I am well-versed in canine care, from feeding to exercise and I prioritise creating a safe and nurturing environment for your beloved pet. I am flexible and adaptable, I tailor my care to meet the unique needs of each dog, ensuring a positive and stress-free experience for both the pet and the owner. Choose me as your dog sitter for peace of mind, knowing your furry friend is in loving and capable hands.

Alexandra K.
“Alexandra had both our somewhat lively springerpoo's for over a week, the house and setting is perfect and Max their border terrier is a chilled out delight who was brilliant with our two somewhat boisterous boys. When we picked them up they were happy to see us but secretly I think they wanted another week. Thank you so much for all that you did with them and we will see you the next time we go away....bit of a drive for us but so worth it to see them so happy and well cared for! The updates and photos were really appreciated and meant we could truly relax and enjoy our first holiday without them.”
