We've raised our two dogs from puppyhood into the perfect companions. We're available all week and weekends to care for your dog! Although we both work full-time, one of us is always home, so your pup will never be without company. There’s room for crates if needed, but dogs are free to roam the house and are always welcome on the furniture for cuddles and relaxation!

About: When I was 3, my parents adopted a border collie cross puppy, and I instantly fell in love. From then on, my parents knew that wherever she was, they would find me too. I decided to study animals in school and college (Animal Behaviour BTEC), and when my parents got another border collie puppy when I was 16, I became the main trainer for her. With the support of an incredible dog trainer, we passed all levels of the Kennel Club Good Citizens Award first time, and I couldn't have been prouder of her. When college finished and I'd volunteered with the dog trainer, learning tips and tricks along the way, as well as worked in a kennels and cattery for work experience, I began university. I studied Animal Management and Behaviour and achieved an FDSC in this. I absolutely adored the course, especially because it also gave me experience with farm and tropical animals. After graduation, I moved in with my now-wife, and we began growing our little pet family. First, we adopted a stray cat, Kiara, who jumped in through the window and never left (much to our joy). Then, we became foster carers for Dog's Trust, handling medical cases, puppies, and more. And finally, they foolishly gave us an 8 week old golden retriever puppy who had been surrendered due to health issues. We proudly failed that foster, and I now have my heart dog. I worked extensively with a trainer to support her, and couldn't be happier. Due to a mix of formal education and fortune, I feel comfortable handling a variety of situations, including medication, day to day enrichment, walks, play, training, and more! I am a stay at home dog and cat mum, looking to support those who need some support with theirs. I don't drive, so often walk to houses so during the week I can only take 1 mile radius but on the weekend 7 mile radius when my doting wife can drop me off! With regards to doggy day care and boarding I can only accept friendly dogs with no behaviour problems as I don't want to put my dog at risk. I will require a meet and greet with any dogs before allowing them into my home to ensure everyone's safety. Also open to looking after farms and unusual/exotic pets so please get in touch to discuss I treat every animal as I'd want mine to be treated. I make sure my fenced garden is well maintained, my animals have regular health checks, the stair gates are in proper use, and there are toys and enrichment opportunities aplenty, to keep everyone entertained! I also frequently give my own animals medication, so know how to follow a schedule, just make sure this is discussed with me!

About: Firstly I am very fortunate to have had dogs for the past 16yrs a lively Jack Russell and now 4yr old Cavapoo and cockapoo who are bery energetic. I often take care of my friends reactive dog who is always on the lead and needs lots of love and reassurance and other friends who need to leave their dogs with me overnight or for the day are always happy as the dogs have a variety of walks and enrichment games and also a time to relax either in a room of their own or in with other dogs depending on their needs, mine are usually in the kitchen diner and on occasions slope off to the Cwtch for quiet time. For July Aug Sept I am available short notice and will endeavour to do everything to make sure your pet has all the love, belly rubs,walks and attention they need. I am able to administer medication orally or injection from experience. I have a happy disposition and I'd love to give you and your dog a relaxing break knowing they are in safe hands here at the Cwtch. I have a secure beautiful home and 5ms walk from the beach in Porthcawl. If they love going In the car the other walks can be in Bryngarw park, Park slip or even down to Penllergaer woods in Swansea, happy to vary their fun time to new sniffs and smells. Whatever your wishes are i will.do my best to accommodate. If your dog only understands Welsh then I am more than happy to communicate this way as it is my first language. I have a beautiful small fenced garden and have 2 small dogs, they are walked on and off lead depending on their safety needs. Happy to walk yourself as you prefer.

About: i’ve always had so much love for animals especially dogs! i have always grown up with pets and i treat any animal as if their my own. i’m currently out of work and looking for ways to keep fit whether it’s walking your dog or running around after them! i’ve always hoped to work with animals. my garden is off limits at this time,as i have just moved in and it wouldn’t be safe for an animal at this given moment .

About: I've grown up being around pets, from dogs to birds and rabbits. I currently have a 2 year old staffy called Kali who is such a loving girl. She was 5 months when I brought her home and we have completed many training sessions together to ensure she had the most positive start to her life with me. Through my time with Kali, I have learnt a lot about dog behaviour and how to manage certain situations to ensure the safety of Kali and other dogs we meet. I love walking and hiking and Kali and I are always out on new adventures. I offer dog walking with or without Kali joining us. Whatever your preference, I will do my best to meet. I currently work full time Monday to Friday on a flexible working pattern so I am open to discussing times and days that suit you, to see how I can accommodate. I can always offer weekends and early morning/ evening slots. I can care for your dog in the way that best suits you and your dog at home. If there is a routine in place, we can discuss this to ensure your dog feels comfortable and safe with me. I will also ensure we have lots of fun.

“10/10 amazing service. Alfie had never been to her before and Jodie was minding a Bernese/lab mix (cutest and sweetest dog ever) at the time. Due to Alfie's breed he was quite a bit smaller than the other dog so I was a bit nervous to leave him just in case they started to scrap. Jodie really put my mind at ease by laying out how she would handle different scenarios and making sure Alfie was safe and that I was comfortable leaving him. When I came back Alfie was all Tuckered out after being on two big walks with his new bestie! Tail wagging and he didn't even bark when I came back he was so tired! I would absolutely use Jodie again if I'm ever in the area.”
