Emily looked after the cats and the house even washing the bowls before we got home and helping us to keep our routine with the cats by shutting the curtains and tidying away the toys each night. About: I have had a cat and my previous German shepherd. No longer have either and more so appreciate the love and care needed and to be part of a family. I have become ever so touched and drawn to animals and that i want to share that love with other pets. I have had a german shepherd in the past and present so have experiences with big and small dogs. I am easy going and can adapt to any needs. I have two girls and they both love cats and dogs and enjoy the love they have to share. I love being in the outdoors and this helps me get up and go with ease. I work full time but from home, my girls are 19 and 15 and love animals too. I have a lot of time to go for long walks. I have a good size fenced garden with plenty of room for your family to run around, I live in a nice area where there are ample Places to walk your dog.

About: As someone who uses Rover for our own dogs, I completely understand how daunting it can feel to leave your dog with someone new. We truly get it and are here to make the experience as reassuring and positive as possible. I started looking after dogs because they bring a kind of purity and simplicity to life that is hard to find elsewhere. It's a kind of love that can be communicated without the exchange of words or fancy gifts. In their own quiet way, dogs give us everything - muddy paws on clean floors, unwavering loyalty, and a love that asks for no words at all. We share our life with our two gorgeous Beagles, Basil and Rufus, who are full of mischief, full of heart and never far from our side. They are Father & Son but also best friends (and partners in crime). When they meet your dog, they might howl when they first see them (classic Beagles) but once they sniff they are all good after a few minutes. They are unphased by new dogs coming into their home, and are more than happy to share beds and space. They are used to this and not territorial. Myself and my partner Cam have both grown up in homes with dogs (more specifically Spaniels), and caring for them has always been a natural part of our lives. As both of our dogs were rescues, we have worked through challenges with separation anxiety and nervousness with time, patience and consistency. Additionally, my sister has a reactive Frenchie, which has given us further insight into the needs of nervous or reactive dogs. Because of these experiences, we genuinely understand how to support anxious or reactive dogs, tailoring our approach to suit each individual’s unique personality. Schedule We both work from home full-time, so dogs are a core part of our daily routine. Our two are always by our side - whether we’re working, relaxing, or out in the garden. We are used to providing structure, enrichment and plenty of company throughout the day with lots of nice places close by to exercise. We occasionally pop out without them, but it’s rare and never for long (much to their delight) because they have separation anxiety. Safety, trust & enrichment We have a very "dog proof"/"Beagle proof" home as our two can be mischievous at times. When our own dogs go to a sitter, safety is always at the top of our minds. That’s exactly the same approach we take with every dog we look after. Our home has a fully fenced garden that’s safe for play and exploration, and we carefully supervise all interactions between dogs to keep things calm and stress-free.

About: I've grown up with dogs and currently own a 9 year old cockapoo. My cockapoo, Amber, has had 2 litters ( the youngest are now 6) and we are still in contact with/ look after a number of her puppies. My childhood dog was a Rottweiler cross German Shepherd and I understand the need for consistency in commands and training. I also help out in looking after my brothers 3 year old German Shepherd so have recent experience with a variety of dogs and ages. I am a shift worker so my pet care capabilities are on my days off so I will be able to spend all my time with your pet during the day. I live in a house with a newly fenced garden so the property is very secure. If you would like me to visit your home to care for your pet I will fully respect your home and your rules.

About: Hello. My name is Pavla and I am a huge dog, and other pets, lover! I work from home full time and enjoy having a fur friend with me as I just enjoy a dog's company, and it's a bonus that it helps the owners as well. As a previous dog owner myself, I appreciate the one-to-one approach as an alternative to kennels, as they are not suitable for all dogs. Your pup will have loads of fun, will be well taken care of, and more often than not, will be in danger of not being returned as I tend to fall in love with them all! I am available, as per my calendar, for house-sitting (as long as I can work at the same time - strong WiFi connection needed). Due to my work commitments and housing set up (I currently live in a shared house), I am unfortunately unable to offer boarding in my own home right now. I have moved to the area not long ago so excited to explore all the different places for the best walks, icluding driving further afield for a little adventure and a change of scenery. If you have any special requirements and needs, please do ask as I can be flexible and make ammendments to accommodate accordingly. I have grown up with dogs of different sizes, breeds and backgrounds. I am currently working towards gaining certification in dog training with IMDT and work with a local qualified dog trainer, helping in her puppy classes (Sat mornings and Tu evenings). I would love to meet you and your pet for a free, informal meet and greet as I believe every pet chooses their human and you don't know if a match is a good one until you see your dog and a person interacting in real life. Looking forward to meeting you soon 🙂 I work from home full time with an hour long lunch break and the flexibility to adapt to your pup's usual routine and your preferences in how they should be looked after. I do however work with a local dog trainer helping in their puppy classes so need the availability to attend these on Sat mornings and Tu evenings (they run for an hour). I always go through your routine, habits and safety measures at the Meet and Greet. I follow the owner's preferences and routine put in place as closely as possible. Including traveling in a car, on/ off leash walks etc.

My flexible schedule lets me give your pets the attention they deserve. I live in a clean, pet-friendly flat with secure access and no shared yard, so all walks and outdoor time are supervised. I keep a calm, quiet space indoors and follow each pet’s routine carefully. I can crate your dog if needed and always prioritise their safety and comfort.

About: I have looked after various animals, all different shapes and sizes. I have trained puppies and also cared for dogs that aren’t well. I can give medication to dogs that require it without any difficulties and also be caring at the same time. I have looked after quiet dogs and more energetic dogs and I am able to meet their needs. I am a stay at home mum to a 4 Year old so I am currently at home all of the time. Only needing to leave for an hour in the afternoon to do nursery pick up. We are at home most weekends as well, so any pet will fit right into our relaxed environment. I have an open grass area outside my home which dogs will be able to use, I also live close to large fields for walks and exploring. My home is a large size so will be able to accommodate dogs with crates. My daughter is very loving towards other animals and understands boundaries when dogs and cats don’t wish to be fussed.

About: I’ve looked after a dozen dogs and puppies from my close friends and relatives over the years, the main one being my boyfriends bulldog who I care for when he is away and at work, I can’t wait to potentially make this a daily occurrence and meet many new dog friends 🐾💓 I am currently on a gap year so only work on Sundays, however I am due to start studying with the Open University in October therefore pet care would fit perfectly into my weekly routine due to its flexibility . I can also get studying done on my laptop if boarding overnight and have spare time :) I will ensure that all your pet needs are met whilst maintaining cleanliness and respect within your home. She came to meet us and Lola our cat before we left and has gone the extra mile whilst we were away. She stayed longer than the booking making sure Lola wasn’t lonely. She even bought us a bag of Cat litter so I didn’t need to go shopping when I arrived home late. I’m sure my flat looked tidier than when I left too! About: I have owned dogs all my life. My first word was our dog’s name Filya. I’m 38 now, just moved to Bracknell with my husband. We can’t have a dog right now, but I still want to spend time with dogs, have a nice walk with fluffy buddy or give them good rubs and treats. I live just next to Birch Hill; here is a great park for doggies! 🐶 I can come to an owner’s home to feed or play with their dog(s). I don’t have a car, so can only visit nearby houses. About: I may be new to Rover, but I’ve looked after my family friend’s dog for the past couple years every Christmas whilst they were away. It became our special little tradition and I am forever grateful for those memories now that he’s sadly passed on. Caring for him made me realise how much love I have to give to dogs, and since I can’t have one of my own, It’d be my pleasure to give some to yours. This will only be a Summer job for me, as I study in London when I am at University. I am busy most weekends at work, so this only really be a weekday job. About: I have had dogs all my life, I have looked after Family pets and I have also walked and cared for friends Pets. My ideal job is working with all animals. I don’t work I’m home all day. Available at short notice . All dogs will be walked 3 /4 times daily as long has it is not too hot. Water will be taken on all outings with collapsible bowls for ease of drinking. I have a fenced garden where your dogs can have a bit of relaxation and they can go wherever they like in the bungalow 😊
