“Courtney did a drop-in for us. She came to meet us beforehand and sent lots of pics showing a very happy Alfie while she was here. Would definitely ask Courtney if she is available on future occasions.”

“Lesley was great! We booked her help last minute and she took our pup to hers for the day. He had a fantastic time and was returned to us happy (and completely knackered) from a day of playing.”

About: Hi, we are Sam & Gia! A couple based in Bath who love dogs and being outdoors. We offer a cozy, friendly space for pups while their humans are away. We can promise long walks, belly rubs, and plenty of playtime :) We’ve both grown up around dogs, including our family's golden retrievers, poodles, and a cocker spaniel, so caring for them feels second nature. We've helped train them, handled all the day-to-day stuff, and regularly dog-sit for family. We frequently spend our weekdays working from home, so would love to have a dog to care for around the house. For overnight stays: During the week, one (if not both) of us work from home for 3 days (typically Monday, Wednesday, and Friday). We can take care of a dog throughout the day. Please note that our schedules can be fairly flexible so if you see a date that doesn’t line up with your needs, you can still ask. For walks/check-ins: Fridays and weekends are best for day time walks or check-ins. We can offer post-work walks during weekdays. If at someone else’s home, we can check in on dogs keep them company after a walk. We can also bathe dogs following walks and drop them back washed and dry. If dogs are staying with us, they are allowed both upstairs and downstairs. We also allow dogs on our furniture and will give lots of cuddles. However, we are happy to stay consistent with your house rules.

About: I’ve grown up with two lovely dogs with different personalities Woolly (Shih Tzu) and Salem (Golden Retriever) gaining experience with both playful pups and gentle seniors. I’m currently on a summer break and don’t have any other work commitments, so I’m very available for walks, drop ins, house sitting and quality time with your pets! I can accommodate short notice bookings too. I create a warm & calm environment where pets feel safe and cared for. Whether they’re shy or energetic — your pets safety, comfort and happiness are my top priorities.

About: I have been around cats since I was very young, probably around 8-9 years old. I grew up with three of them in Italy and stayed with them as they became senior grumpy cats until they naturally passed away. As I became older, I started taking on more responsibilities (e.g., feeding, cleaning litter, taking them to the vet etc.), but most of all enjoyed playing with them and taking very long naps together, so much that I became a pro at sleeping in the most uncomfortable positions so that they could keep resting well. Since moving to the UK, I have mainly interacted with neighbours' cats as I have been living in rental properties (and you might know how difficult it is to find a place that accepts pets!) and I often take care of my sister's pets when she goes on holiday or is away for work. I always try to understand a cat's personality as I interact with them and respect boundaries, especially at the beginning when I am getting to know them or if a cat doesn't like to be petted - cats' butler mode on. I think I tend to be more of a cat person, but I do enjoy the company of dogs as well, and I often join friends who own dogs for a nice walk. I work 4 days a week 9-5, but I have some flexibility with start/end time and I sometimes also work from home, so I can accommodate visits in the morning and late afternoon/evening Mondays to Thursdays. The rest of the days, Fridays to Sundays, I am pretty flexible since I am often home studying, but in general, as long as I know my schedule, I can pretty much work around commitments. Will follow any instructions left by the pet's owner and will promptly reach out if anything is unclear/uncertain. For drop-ins, please rest assured that I will be very professional and respectful of your space, and will keep things clean and tidy as I would do at my own place.

About: I grew up with large and small dogs and was responsible for walking, feeding and grooming. More recently I have shared responsibility for two different rescue dogs (one from a puppy). I am also an enthusiastic walker having just completed the French section of the Camino de Santiago de Compostella long distance route. I am available Monday to Sunday (almost) whenever is convenient. I can start early and be available through the day as is needed for your & your pet's schedule Whether out for a walk or in your home, I will make sure to follow your particular preferences (on/off lead, in/out doors) to make sure that you & your dog feel as safe & comfortable as possible

About: Hi, I’m Kenna, I really love spending time with dogs and have some experience in taking care of them. I have a 3 year old male border collie who is the sweetest boy! I haven’t got any kids around so no need to worry if your dog isn’t great with children. I’ve got a garden that borrowed dogs can use. I’m open to walking dogs over the summer and the petting sitting for longer durations either in my home or the dog’s usual home. I’m available on weekdays in the daytime and evening, at weekends and for holidays. Im currently on a career break so can be very flexible and can devote a lot of care to pets! This means I can be around for your dog so they are not left alone and can take them on lots of walks and play! I have a fenced garden that they can play in. Additionally, I have lots of experience walking dogs and they will not be left at home alone as I will always be around

About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life, especially Swiss Shepherds, and have developed a deep understanding of their needs, personalities, and care routines. I’ve been actively involved in the full journey of raising and training our family dogs—from energetic puppies to graceful seniors. One of our Shepherds is now 10 years old, and I’ve adapted her care to meet her changing needs—this includes gentler walks, joint support, and more attentive daily routines to keep her comfortable and happy. My experience extends beyond my own pets as I’ve also provided walking and sitting services for a range of breeds in my local area, from small Dachshunds to strong, active Huskies. Every dog is unique, and I will always offer calm, reliable, and compassionate care tailored to each pet’s personality, age, and routine. I work as a therapist within the NHS and primarily work from home, with only one day a week required in the office. My partner also works hybrid-remote, so between us, there’s always someone at home throughout the week to keep your pet company and cared for. My work schedule is flexible, and I’m able to plan my calls around your pet’s needs—whether that means fitting in regular walks, sticking to a feeding routine. I’m happy to adapt to each pet’s energy level, routine, and any specific care they might need. We live in a ground floor flat with a secure, private fenced garden—perfect for safe outdoor time and fresh air. Our home is calm, pet-friendly, and free from hazards or overwhelming noise. We don’t have any pets of our own, so your pet will get our full attention and care without any competition or stress from other animals. Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or yours, I always prioritise their safety and comfort. I take time to get to know each animal’s routine and personality, follow any instructions carefully, and provide updates so you feel confident and reassured while you’re away.

“We met Sonia on Rover and she has been helping us with our greyhound Thom for the past 2 weeks and has been phenomenal. She has been doing midday check ins. We received detailed updates and photos. We had to make some last minute schedule changes and Sonia had no problem and was very kind and responsive. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for kind and reliable service:)”

About: I have 5 granddogs, 2 grandcats, 2 goddogs and numerous canine and cat nephews and nieces ( not blood of course, they are the furry kids of my friends). They’re family 😁 I work remotely as a geeky historical writer, so can be pretty much anywhere and what can be better than doing that whilst making new furry friends. I treat them as family, except when the sharing of food is the question. I don’t share food, just like my English goddog, Percy, doesn’t share his bone. With regard to communication - the number listed is now obsolete - my new number is Colombian because I live in Colombia for six months each year - Unfortunately Rover does not have a Colombia option. So best to email me or communicate through Rover.

About: I’ve had dogs in my life for as long as I can remember, especially rescues. I have a special place in my heart for pups who need a little extra patience, love, and understanding. Whether it’s helping a shy dog come out of their shell, giving seniors the slow-paced care they deserve, or working on basic training with energetic puppies, I’ve truly done it all. I’m reliable, calm, and deeply attuned to dogs’ individual personalities. I’m happy to handle feeding, walks, playtime, medications, crate routines, or just hanging out and making sure your pup feels safe and secure while you’re away. Every dog I meet gets treated like family, because they are. 🐾 I’m a flexitime Business Development Manager who works from home, which means my schedule is super open and adaptable. I’m happy to pop in for walks, check-ins, or playtime throughout the day, whatever works best for you and your pet’s routine. I go on three walks a day myself, so I’m always up for some extra paws joining me! Whether your dog needs a quick potty break or a longer stroll, I’m happy to make it happen. I also have a car, so getting to you, even last-minute, is no problem. I’m easygoing, communicative, and truly love spending time with animals. Your pet’s comfort and happiness are always my top priority. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in yours, I always prioritise their comfort, routine, and individual needs. I know how important consistency is, especially for animals who may be anxious when their humans are away. When I’m looking after pets in their own space, I aim to keep everything as familiar and stress-free as possible. I follow feeding, walking, and playtime routines exactly as you describe, give lots of love and attention, and make sure your home is treated with the utmost respect. I’m happy to send updates, pics, and anything else that helps you feel connected while you’re away.

About: I looked after a 3 month old puppy in my own home for several weeks while her family were abroad, this included beach trips, train rides etc. Have also had several house sitting jobs while studying at Uni, looking after people’s dogs. As a recent graduate I have tons of free time while I find a long term career. Job searching is a mostly online process so can do this from home while keeping your pet company. I’m also a very active person who loves long walks so your dog would get lots of exercise! When in your home I tend to spend all of my time with your pet, playing with them as much as they’ll let me! And on walks I will rarely take a dog off the lead- only if it’s been made very clear by owners that they have amazing recall with anyone. I also won’t let your dog into the garden without constant supervision.

“Renata was wonderful with our cat - we found a happy little one at home after returning from a day of travelling. Renata is reliable and very responsive - we would absolutely recommend her!”
