“Ijen was super understanding when I needed dog care very short notice, he made sure that our dogs got on well and I received regular updates throughout the day. My dog had an absolute blast and I’m sure he will be back to play with his new friends (both human and doggy!) soon ☺️”

“Fabulous! A warm welcome for our dogs (&us). We cannot thank Daisy & Dan enough for helping us out at short notice, so that we could attend our Grandson’s Christening. The dogs clearly had a great time and we will be recommending them to family & friends. We also really loved meeting Tramp - gorgeous.”

About: ⭐️ House Rule No 1. Every pup should have FUN! ⭐️ I love dogs. They are such great companions and each one is unique and has its own personality. I have grown up with dogs, done voluntary dog walking, and sometimes have friends' pets over and its always fun. ⭐️ I have a lovely enclosed garden and good walking green places close by. ⭐️ Training: Dog grooming certificate. Currently studying as a Canine Merisha Massage Practitioner ❗IMPORTANT❗ Make sure your dog is current on their vaccinations, flea and tick treatments. Proof required I work form home so I am flexible in care. There are nice parks around for walkies and lots to sniff. I can adjust to work around the dog's usual routine to make them feel relaxed and have a sense of continuation. I take small to medium sized dogs. If boarding, your dog would sleep in the downstairs area or in a crate if you have your own and prefer that. In the summer it can go out for a wonder in the garden freely and in the winter I have scheduled times

“This was our first experience of leaving Hettie for the day, but we needn't have worried. Linda was a wonderful sitter. Hettie seems to have thoroughly enjoyed her stay with Linda and made friends with the other dogs. Such a lovely setting with plenty of space for Hettie to have a good run. Not sure she really wanted to come hoime :-). We'll definitely take her back to Linda again. Thank you to Linda and to Rover for a really excellent experience.”

“Luciana looked after Cacahuete for a few hours while I attended an event in Ashford. Cacahuete enjoyed playing with their dog and their back garden too. The communication was very easy and I got photos and videos during the day. I'd 100% repeat with Luciana if I go Ashford again!”

“Had a great experience with Daniel this week. He was quick to respond and the booking process was easy. He looked after Thor very well who came home chilled and happy, and he kept me updated during the day on how he was doing. Would definitely use Daniel again, many thanks!”

About: I have always lived in a home with dogs, and currently have my own 5 year old female staffy, who loves the company of other dogs. For the past 5 years I have volunteered with The Cinnamon Trust, walking dogs for the elderly, and this has given me vast experience in handling unknown dogs and learning to care for different requirements. I regularly look after friends and families dogs, for example a Lhasa Apso and a Springador, and am used to the different needs of different breeds. I live in an end of terrace home with a lovely enclosed garden with plenty of grass for sniffing and relaxing. The walls and fencing are 6 foot tall the whole way around and in impeccable condition so no need to worry about your furry friend escaping. We have a bench with cushion in the sun which always ends up being the best spot in the house for dogs to sunbathe! I work remotely from home for a charity so it is rare that I need to leave the house during the work day. If I do, it is for no more than 5 hours as I always make sure I am home for my own dog's toilet breaks and walks. I do go out of an evening to exercise a few times a week so your dog would need to be happy being left for a few hours, in the company of my own dog. I live on an estate on the edge of countryside so your dog can expect lovely walks through fields and the opportunity to swim in a small lake if that takes their fancy (please note I will only walk your dog on the lead for their first stay, for their safety). If they are more of a couch potato this is not a problem, they can have a small walk around the estate instead! I usually walk my dog for 1 hour at lunch, sometimes with an additional short walk in the evening. In an ideal world your dog loves to spend time with other dogs, and doesn't mind travelling in the car for weekend adventures. We love to explore local woodlands and beaches when we get a chance and spend lots of time outdoors when the weather is good. Your dog is welcome to sleep in the lounge with my dog (dogs are allowed on the sofa), or we can accommodate an entirely separate space in the house if your dog likes privacy, however unfortunately no dogs in our bedroom overnight! Your dog can expect a relaxing and safe environment to enjoy their holiday in. It is of the upmost importance to me that your dog, and mine, are happy and comfortable. For this reason I request that a meet and greet takes place before bookings are made. This will involve a short walk and controlled introduction to my dog and home, so that we can make sure our dogs get on well, and that you are happy with the care your dog will be provided with. I am really interested in dog psychology, so it is very important to me that introductions are managed in a calm and controlled way to ensure our dogs make friends! My dog is very precious to me and I will treat yours with the same love and care, so you can expect at least 1 update per day (with photos), to be assured that your dog is having a lovely time! I work full time, remotely from home. I will block out on my calendar when I am not available, but generally I can look after dogs most days of the week with enough notice. My social schedule works around my dog (she comes everywhere she is allowed), so it would be lovely if your dog is also keen to get out and about with us. I have a fully enclosed garden and can provide your dog with a separate space to sleep at night if they require a quiet environment away from my dog. If your dog sleeps in a crate I am happy to accommodate this. Your dog must be house trained.

About: Hello. My partner and I work full time from home and have one friendly Romanian rescue dog called Jax, and a cat that likes to keep out the way! We have both had dogs and cats throughout our lives. We can be flexible on times and are available to look after your dog at ours or at your home. We have a small fenced garden which we would take the dog to for regular toilet breaks. At our home, our dog would always be around and it is not possible to keep them separate, so we would only be able to look after dogs that get on with other dogs - we are happy to do a meet and greet before hand. However, if we were coming to your home, our dog would stay home. If you have any questions, drop is a message! Thanks.

“This was the first time I'd used Doggy Day Care through Rover. I suppose it's a bit unnerving to leave your family pet with what is, speaking plainly, a stranger. If you're considering it, but are unsure, I'm here to tell you that it works; and you'll be fine if you make a booking with Caitlin. Caitlin looked after my eight month old (but rather large) Golden Retriever, Buddy for the day at her home. From the moment he arrived, Caitlin was confident in dealing with Buddy and he responded well to her straightforward commands. Buddy made himself at home and it was clear that he and Caitlin were going to get on very well. About two hours after I'd left, I received some photos showing me that Buddy had had a long morning walk and settled in without issue. When I picked him up, Caitlin gave a brief verbal break down of the day's events. Confirming that Buddy was fed his lunch, which he ate with gusto (again showing how comfortable he was) and later went for his afternoon walk. I'm told that he was so relaxed that when they weren't out walking he spent most of the day asleep on the sofa, on his back with his legs in the air! Once all is said and done, you get a report card. Which gives you a further break down of what happened throughout the day (feeding / drinks / bowel movements / etc.) - Caitlin also included some lovely photos of Buddy asleep on the sofa. All in all, it was a highly convenient and straightforward booking process and on the day it ran without any issues. So if you need Doggy Day Care in the Ashford area, I'd recommend Caitlin. I'll certainly be happy to book Buddy in with her again.”

About: **About me** I have had a beautiful Labrador, a Great Dane, and now we have a mixed cocker spaniel and whippet. We have a garden where the dogs can play and love being outdoors. We would love to spend some time with your family member who we will look after as our own. **About my home/services** I live in a spacious home in Ashford, UK. It has enough space for the pet to be conformable indoors and outdoors. I will be with your pet throughout the time selected and would be happy to work with any special recommendations you may have. Extra toys or crates that make the pet comfortable are welcome. **About my neighbourhood** The neighbourhood is a safe and quiet one, with minimal traffic. **What to expect** Lots of cuddles and long walks will be provided. About: I am 56 and work shifts on the railway. I have plenty of free time and days off. I moved from London to Ashford two years ago. I now live on my own in a 2 bed coach house with plenty of dog friendly communal gardens and open spaces. I have owned and cared for dogs all my life and still miss having a dog at home. Although it is not practical for me to own a dog whilst I am still working I love to care for and walk dogs around my work schedule. I work shifts but have plenty of free time. I know well in advance of my shift patterns/days off ect. so booking my time should not be a problem. Although its not easy to commit myself for more than one or two nights at a time, i do have sometimes have blocks of days off so may be available for longer. My son sometimes comes down and stays with our pug (Jeff) and although he does not need too much exercise these days I still love taking him out and generally having him around.

“I cannot recommend Juliette highly enough as a trusted dog/pet caregiver.. Having seen firsthand how much love and adoration she has for her own pup (Lia) and the wonderful life she's been able to provide to a dog, who came over as a rescue and was dealt a tricky start to her life. Seeing Lia now enjoy the healthy and fulfilling life that Juliette has made for her and the personality she has developed is infectious to be around. I would confidently say I'm certain the same maternal love would be given to any and all dogs big and small. If you're looking for dog care look no further!”
