About: I have had pets all throughout my life growing up. I have owned dogs for over 19 years and am used to looking after pets - mainly dogs, but also chickens, horses and cats. I currently work part-time and in a role where I can be mainly based at home. I live in an old house surrounded by lovely gardens and three acres of fields. I am close to many country walks and St Mary’s Bay beach is only 10 minutes drive from me. All dogs, like us humans, are different. Some prefer to be left in peace and quiet and others like company, some are very energetic and others are less so. How I care for your dog is entirely dependent on their preferences. And I have enough space in my home for them to roam quite freely and the great outdoors with fenced fields are merely seconds from our back door. I have enough space in my home to have 3 extra dogs with their own room.

About: I’ve been a cat person for as long as I can remember and grew up with cats in my family home. When I left for university at 18, I really missed having cats around and would have loved to have my own, but I’ve always lived somewhere that hasn’t allowed pets. Instead, I’ve taken every opportunity to look after cats for friends and family. I’ve cared for my mum’s cats while she’s been away on several holidays over the past few years, as well as looking after friends’ cats while they’ve been away. I’ve cared for my mum’s dog, Charlie, and her two cats, Milo and Casper, for over two weeks at a time on several separate occasions. During these stays, I was responsible for Charlie’s daily routine, including taking him for at least two walks each day, keeping him company and making sure he was happy and entertained with plenty of playtime, toys and treats. Charlie can be quite a picky eater, so I also made sure he was eating properly by patiently encouraging him at mealtimes and rewarding him afterwards. I also looked after Milo and Casper, making sure they were well fed, comfortable and cared for while their mum was away. I’ve also looked after my friend’s cat, Molly, over a weekend while she was away, making sure she was a happy kitty and got all the attention and affection she deserved. About: Iv owned dogs for over 30 years and have had the honour to work with them for the past 16, I have experience with most breeds being a dog groomer and owned many myself over the years. I have fostered over 100 rescues in the past 4 years also and am experienced in nervous, elderly, young and dogs needed extra care. I can administer medication including injections if needed. I have worked in boarding kennels before and have been boarding dogs myself for the past 10 years in my own home, where all dogs are welcomed into my family and treated as one of my own. I own two grooming salons where any boarding dogs can come with me, where they can meet other dogs, be in my company all day and will only be left if I need to pop to the shops, dogs are my life! And I spend all day everyday caring for my own and everyone else’s! I have two fully fenced gardens with over 100ft to run around in, I have 6 small rescue dogs myself that your dog can meet and play with. The gardens are accessible all day every day during the summer and at regular intervals in the winter depending on the weather. They are all brilliant with other dogs and are used to different dogs staying in our home. All dogs are allowed on my furniture! I always say to visitors “find a spot the dogs arnt sitting on” I also have indoor gates used as extra safety to avoid any escapees!

About: I am exactly who I would want to leave my dog with or have my dog walked by as I put dogs in front of humans 😂 My small Munsterlander is 4 now and I’ve had her since a pup, we’ve recently moved back to the UK from Spain and I’m out with her on big ball playing walks 4/5 times per day as she is super active and I need the outside time too so I thought this would be perfect for me to get a bit of pocket money and be around my favourite animals at the same time. I have trained my girl since a pup and understand all aspects of dog training and how they operate in general so I’m happy to have dogs off the lead although at the same time happy to walk them on a long lead :) Walking wise I’ll have mine with me and she’s off the lead running chasing the ball in the local fields etc so any dog can join in and we’ll have a great time if you want me to have your dog overnight I’ll make it so they don’t even want to come back to you which is exactly what I would expect and hope for if I was to leave my baby! How will I do that? 🤔 I’ll make sure they have the best walks ever so we’re all chilled for cozy cuddle time and I’ll cook up something meaty for them super nutritional and make sure they sleep right next to me by the bed :) I actually do nothing all day everyday apart from look after my best mate (Maddie in my photo) since I’ve moved back here to the UK I find myself out 4/5 times per day with my dog so would be the exact same to look after another doggy :) There is no escape as we’re in a flat so no safety concerns in that sense this also encourages me even more to make sure once my doggy has chilled for a couple hours we’re back outside playing again as there isn’t a garden.

About: For many years I couldn't have a dog of my own and would jump at any chance I could to spend time with and care for those of friends and family. I finally got my own dog, a Staffordshire bull terrier called Leon, whilst living in Australia - my best friend for many years and a truly special soul. I now have another young staffy, Mars, who is keeping me on my toes! We've worked really hard on his training and have both learnt a lot. I have a lot of experience caring for dogs - from walking and day-care to long-term stays in my and other's homes. However, I am currently only able to provide walking and check-ins. The initial testimonials are all genuine from friends, family and neighbours whose dogs I have previously cared for. I am currently studying from home and dog-walking provides the perfect, flexible option for me to fit work around studies. Around walking my own dog, I am usually available most days and times. During these stays, I was responsible for Charlie’s daily routine, including taking him for at least two walks each day, keeping him company and making sure he was happy and entertained with plenty of playtime, toys and treats. Charlie can be quite a picky eater, so I also made sure he was eating properly by patiently encouraging him at mealtimes and rewarding him afterwards. I also looked after Milo and Casper, making sure they were well fed, comfortable and cared for while their mum was away. I’ve also looked after my friend’s cat, Molly, over a weekend while she was away, making sure she was a happy kitty and got all the attention and affection she deserved. I understand how important it is to give pets a safe, calm and familiar environment, while following their individual routines and giving them plenty of attention and affection.

About: I’ve always looked after dogs whether they were my own, a family members or a friends. I also did a little work experience while I was in school looking after dogs at a daycare as well as going to they homes to feed and walk. About: I have been taking care of dogs professionally for the past 2 years, provide boarding, doggy day care and house visits. We have 2 dogs at home - one is older and sleeps all day and the other loves the extra company and someone to play with! I work from home so always around Monday-Sunday! “Finding Flora has made such a difference to future holidays! I’ve never let Winnie stay with anyone other than her one usual family sitter. After a short notice cancellation I thought I would have to cancel my holiday. Boarding kennels was not an option and by chance we found Rover. I was sceptical at first and didn’t think it was going to work for us especially as it was for 5 days. I contacted Flora and immediately liked her clear communication and general questions that already made me feel Winnie would have the proper care she needed.
