“Kyla has been great with our two dogs for walks during the week while we are at work. She is friendly and the dogs love her. She always gives notice if she has to change the schedule and has been understanding when we have a change.”

“Amanda helped me out when I needed a dog walker last minute. She was wonderful about communicating when she would arrive, etc. professional, punctual and I would definitely use her dog walking services again.”

About: I love dogs as family, I am patient and caring, peace of mind guaranteed. I’ve have experience with puppies as well as senior dogs who require extra care. My husband and I work from home. He tends to his landscaping business and I work at Walter Clark. Being home allows us to spend time with the dogs and to give them the attention and care that they require. I have a big yard with grass which is great for dogs to run and play, as well as a spare room with toys and air conditioner.

About: I grew up on a farm in England with working dogs, which gave me a love for animals and led me to a life working professionally with them. After 32 years of running my own pet care business in Los Angeles, I relocated to the Coachella Valley where I continue to walk, exercise, and socialize dogs, while also working as a dog trainer. I'm available Monday thru Friday from 7am until 5pm, so we can work out walks and visits depending on your schedule and your dog's needs. Your dog will always be walked on leash, with the exception of fenced dog parks. Dogs can be crated during transport, if that makes them more comfortable. With my many years of experience, I know exactly how to work with dogs with a focus on the safety, calm, and happiness of the animal.

“This was our first time using Rover, and therefore our first time having Jon walk our dog. We asked Jon to come by each day at 7, as it gets pretty hot here in the desert quite early in the morning. Sammi is used to hour long walks as well. We can say Jon did not disappoint! He was at our house every morning at 7 on the nose and gave our Sammi a full hour walk each day. They walked a mile plus on each journey and Sammi looked forward to seeing him every day. Could not have asked for a better experience!”

About: I grew up on a ranch with several mixed breed family dogs and a few barn cats. I volunteered at small and large veterinary clinics during college break, as well as volunteered at local animal shelters over the years. We have a senior rescue in our home, Walter, and a couple younger pups we also adopted with loads of energy. Depending on your pets needs, I can throw the ball as much as your pup wants to play fetch, I can take your pup hiking, to the dog park, or around the neighborhood. If your fur baby just wants love and cuddles and indoor playtime, it all works. You tell me what is best for them and I will 100% follow your direction. I am retired (finance career) and have time on my hands to devote to your special family member. I run on time, follow directions, and ready to keep your pet happy and healthy. As a very active person, I am not the type to sit on the couch or the bench at the dog park; I would be very interactive with them. We have rescue dogs and I assure you, your dog will be in safe and reliable hands with me. At this point I'm not ready to have pets in our home, but I don't mind traveling within the Rancho Mirage/Palm Desert area with some exceptions if I need to travel a bit farther for a client. Whatever instructions you give me (ie play and food preferences the pup has) I will certainly follow. I have left my own detailed list of items when we've been away, so don't worry, I won't take any shortcuts and I am also a good communicator, not just with the owner, but I love talking with the pets as well.

“Maggie is amazing! She is so great with communication with me and even more importantly, she is amazing with my hivh energy 1yr old bull terrier! I have nothing but praise and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a little extra love in their dogs lives.”

“Elyza walked my dog Maggie for ten days while I was away for the holiday. I reached out to Elyza last minute who got back to me immediately. We did a meet and greet with my dog; it was immediately clear to me that Elyza really adores animals and that she had a genuine interest in my dog. While I was away, she kept me updated with photos and answered any concerns I had. Elyza is reliable, compassionate, and trustworthy. I highly recommend her and plan to use her again:”

About: I’ve rescued senior pets for over a decade and have plenty of experience with puppies, cats, and pets with big personalities. I run my own business and mostly work from home, so your furry fam will get all the attention, love, and weird little chats they deserve. I’m all about keeping animals comfy, happy, and feeling like they’re right where they belong! Since I work from home and set my own hours, I can easily build my day around your pet’s routine. Whether it’s morning walks, midday play breaks, or cozy overnight hangs, I’m flexible—and fully present. Your pet gets consistent care, attention, and yes, a well-stocked snack stash. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or mine, their safety and comfort always come first. I maintain a clean, calm environment, stick closely to their routine, and pay attention to the little details—like favorite nap spots or treat preferences. I believe in clear communication, regular updates, and creating a space that feels safe, familiar, and full of love (plus the occasional squeaky toy).

About: Since I was 10, I have been walking and pet sitting all kinds of animals. I love animals and have plenty of experience. I have worked with pets of all ages from puppies and kittens to senior pets. Additionally, I have been a volunteer at a local animal shelter for 2+ years. I am currently only doing walks and drop in visits and I have open availability to walk your pet whenever you need me. I prefer to do walks around noon or in the afternoon. I have my own pets who I take great care of and you can trust me to care for your own pet as well. My open availability allows me to spend time with your pet whenever needed.

About: I know leaving your pet with someone new can feel stressful, so my focus is to make it easier for both you and your fur baby. I handle situations calmly, respond strategically, and communicate clearly. Every day, as both a student and a sitter, I learn and improve. I’m very observant and caring with pets. I have a lot of experience in senior care. My own dog, who passed in 2024, lived to 15 years old and was blind and diabetic. Because of him, I’m comfortable with special care needs. You can call me the “dog nurse.” I am a Registered Nursing student at College of the Desert and classes are currently in session (9/2/25-12/19/25) so my availability is open on weekends only. Unfortunately my home does not allow pets so I can only sit in the pets/your home! I am excited to meet your fur baby and give them all my love, care and attention! I like to send a lot of photos and videos because your comfort is my comfort (Unless you ask me not to!) One thing that really helps things go smoothly is a detailed schedule & notes (written or typed) for your pet if they have any. Please let me know if there’s anything else I can do to keep your pup safe and happy.

Samira T.

This passion only grew over the years and became more passionate about her pets. Samira always wanted more and more pets as time went on and because of it, she is now seriously considering becoming a vetrenerian. She cared for her dogs, guinea pigs, birds, turtules, rabbits and her aunt's cat. She lives horses and did horse back riding for years professionally and as pleasure. I would never hesitate having her care for any type of pets.”
