About: I have been taking care of neighbors' dogs since I was nine years old! I have watched many senior dogs and dogs with special routines. I'm currently working on my Master's in Public Health at UVA, so I have plenty of flexibility to keep your dogs company! I am available most weekday evenings and weekends! About: I have taken care of multiple animals throughout my life, mainly elder neighbors who cannot fully take care of their animals because of scheduling conflicts. I prefer overnight visits and stays just to ensure no schedules are disrupted. I currently attend UVA full-time as a Master's Student, and work Saturday nights at a restaurant in Cville. But I always make time for the animals in my life! I have a fenced-in yard, I walk dogs either for short 15/20 minutes, or a longer (5 miles) depending on a breed's needs and requirements. Otherwise, we can lounge and play with toys together.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats and rabbits for years. I also have experience as a pet owner to a cat and grew up with dogs and cats and various rabbits and farm animals my entire life. My goal is to ease your pets anxiety when their person is not there! I will work to make sure your pet has what they need and the love they deserve! I work 3 days a week but am off by 5:00 and am super flexible. I am free on weekends and am happy to stay with the animals when I’m not at work! I also have the flexibility to leave during lunch during my work hours. I am very in tune with your pets needs and will make sure they always have fresh water and food at correct times. I’m happy to send as many updates as you need, and as many pictures! I am very flexible of what is required for you and your animals needs! I love to walk around the neighborhood and get them exercise as well as spending time in their safe environment. I’m happy to play fetch or sit with them and just give cuddles.

About: I have been pet sitting for many years, typically with friends and family. I have been responsible for cats (domestic & feral), dogs, goats, sheep, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, guinea fowls, fish, bearded dragons, geckos and even a millipede! I have also worked with animals in a professional setting for 14 years and I have some veterinary assistant experience. I’m happy to handle extra tasks such as retrieving mail, watering plants and even some light housekeeping. I work full time (4 days per week) but can provide morning and evening care most days. On days off, I can be flexible and as available as your pet requires. I will be as candid as possible about my schedule to ensure choosing me is the best option! In a clients home, I follow all instructions given in regard to their pets care. I ensure the pet is comfortable with me before any handling or petting. I love to send photos and updates to clients letting them see how their pet is doing.

About: I have always had dogs in my life. My parents chose our first dog, a blue healer, after their honeymoon. I was three. Skeeter and I would tromp through the woods often. We moved to the Middle East when I was 9, and we had to give her to another family, but when we returned, we were contacted by the family: they were moving and wondered if we would like her back. It was a very happy reunion. She passed away when I was 18. In my third year of college, I decided to get a dog of my own. It was a dumb idea because I didn't have the forethought to think about how being a dogowner would limit my housing options over the next 10 years. Baloo was a German shepherd mix. He was a rescue from a Native American reservation in AZ, what we call a "res dog". He and I had several adventures over the decade I could call him mine. He passed away a little over two years ago, and I still miss him now. These days, I am mom to Benedict and Tigerlily. Benny is a sweet old rescue from California. He is likely part pitbull, and part sharpei. He's a sweetheart, super chill with my kids, and loves to walk the trails behind my house. Tigerlily Is a baby baby. The two of them are inseparable. I work from home and have my kids 3-5 nights / week. We love all the dogs and love to take them on walks through the woods and to the park. I provide a chill space where dogs feel like they can relax and trust that someone will come along soon to scritch their ears. I have a great neighborhood for walking and a large unfenced backyard.

About: I have not used Rover before (have an older profile from when I originally looked into it but did end up using) but am an extremely experience pet sitter who is happy to share more recent evidence and testimonials. I love every animal and love pet sitting, because it is not just a side gig for me but a hobby. I work a part time job and usually sleep at the houses where I am pet sitting.
