About: I’ve grown up around animals my entire life, with 2 dogs and 2 cats since I was 3 years old. Caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life, and I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s personality and needs. I’m patient, attentive, and comfortable with animals of different ages and temperaments. I’ve even dreamed of owning an animal shelter one day! I’ll treat your pets with the same care, attention, and affection I would give my own. Starting in mid-May, I’ll have a very flexible schedule and will be available for pet care throughout the week. I’ll likely have another part-time job, but I’ll be able to work my schedule around pet-sitting and make sure I have plenty of time to give each pet the attention and care they need. I’m especially interested in regular or recurring pet-care opportunities and am happy to accommodate different schedules and routines. When house sitting, I treat both your pets and your home with the same care and respect I would want someone to give my own. I’ll follow your pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, medication if needed, and plenty of attention and playtime. I’m also very respectful of your space and will keep your home clean and secure while you’re away. My priority is making sure your pets feel comfortable, safe, and cared for in their own environment, so you can have peace of mind while you’re gone.

About: My family had labradors from the time I was an infant. All of ours were raised as puppies, well behaved and successfully potty trained. I also had a French bulldog raised from a puppy as an adult. In recent years I have learned love cats through my wife, and we now have 4 lovely adult indoor cats who we rescued all as kittens. I work from home 9-5 Monday through Friday. I can be flexible for mid-day visits, although mornings and afternoons/evenings are more reliable. I am generally available at all times of day on weekends. I have my own transportation and I’m happy to accommodate your needs. My own pets mean the world to me, I strive to be the person they see me as. I treat all animals the same way: with kindness, respect, and love, especially for rescues who may not have had the easiest lives. I have a white collar job where I’m expected to have high professionalism and customer service standards, and I bring that ethos to my work with animals as well.

About: I have always had dogs in my life. My parents chose our first dog, a blue healer, after their honeymoon. I was three. Skeeter and I would tromp through the woods often. We moved to the Middle East when I was 9, and we had to give her to another family, but when we returned, we were contacted by the family: they were moving and wondered if we would like her back. It was a very happy reunion. She passed away when I was 18. In my third year of college, I decided to get a dog of my own. It was a dumb idea because I didn't have the forethought to think about how being a dogowner would limit my housing options over the next 10 years. Baloo was a German shepherd mix. He was a rescue from a Native American reservation in AZ, what we call a "res dog". He and I had several adventures over the decade I could call him mine. He passed away a little over two years ago, and I still miss him now. These days, I am mom to Benedict and Tigerlily. Benny is a sweet old rescue from California. He is likely part pitbull, and part sharpei. He's a sweetheart, super chill with my kids, and loves to walk the trails behind my house. Tigerlily Is a baby baby. The two of them are inseparable. I work from home and have my kids 3-5 nights / week. We love all the dogs and love to take them on walks through the woods and to the park. I provide a chill space where dogs feel like they can relax and trust that someone will come along soon to scritch their ears. I have a great neighborhood for walking and a large unfenced backyard.

About: I have been pet sitting for many years, typically with friends and family. I have been responsible for cats (domestic & feral), dogs, goats, sheep, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, guinea fowls, fish, bearded dragons, geckos and even a millipede! I have also worked with animals in a professional setting for 14 years and I have some veterinary assistant experience. I’m happy to handle extra tasks such as retrieving mail, watering plants and even some light housekeeping. I work full time (4 days per week) but can provide morning and evening care most days. On days off, I can be flexible and as available as your pet requires. I will be as candid as possible about my schedule to ensure choosing me is the best option! In a clients home, I follow all instructions given in regard to their pets care. I ensure the pet is comfortable with me before any handling or petting. I love to send photos and updates to clients letting them see how their pet is doing.
