“Paula did a great job keeping our senior doggie happy and healthy when I had a very long day away from home. She was also a quick communicator and incredibly organized around drop off and pick up.”

“Bertie was amazing! It was my first time using Rover as a pet owner, and I needed a sitter for the day while on vacation. My puppy is still fairly young and is very attached to me, but she appeared to settle in pretty quickly and have a great time with some other pups. Bertie stayed in touch while I was out, sending pics and updates, and even recommended some great local spots to check out. Super happy with this experience!”

“Many thanks to Hannah for watching our pup! Drop-off and pick-up was easy, Hannah herself was kind and personable; I could tell picking our dog up that she had a blast and was very comfortable at Hannah's home. Our dog got plenty of exercise over there! She curled up on the bed upon getting home :) Overall great experience!”

“rebecca & justin were kind, caring and attentive... my Augie felt secure and was very happy to stay in their home for playtime and then a restful sleepover... thank you rebecca & justin! xx lucy & Augie”

“Jenny watched my Lincoln today and was AMAZING. She was so responsive and easy to work with. She asked enough questions that it was obvious she really cared that my pup was comfortable and happy. She also sent me updates and pictures throughout the day including ones of him snuggled up on the couch so I know he was cozy. We would 100% recommend her.”
About: I have had a dog since 2012 when I finished my time in an operational Navy squadron. My family has rescued several dogs (we have six now!), and I have a 9-year-old Shepherd/Husky mix. I recently began fostering to help give shelter dogs a break, which led to me adopting my second pup, a year-old boxer mix. My dog is diabetic, meaning I am comfortable and able to administer injectable medication if needed, and can handle oral medication as well. I have taken care of everything from 2-month old puppies to 13-year-old senior dogs. I love them all. I work from home, so my hours are flexible. Generally will take my dog for a longer walk in the morning and after lunch, and several potty breaks throughout the day as she needs. I have a big front and side yard, but no fence. I am extremely careful with the dogs on the leash, plus always make sure that I'm aware of what our surroundings are.
“Lady had a fun day at Svitlana's, and got some socialization, playing with other dogs! I can relax knowing she is safe and happy when we are away for a day.”

“I was going through Charlottesville and desperately need someone to watch my dog for a few hours while I went to the doctor and took my car to be serviced. Aly was exactly who I was looking for, and more important, exactly who my dog needed.”

“So glad I recently found Carolyn for occasional doggie daycare support for my sometimes-anxious Doodle. She was so responsive and clearly cares deeply for dogs!”

“We were impressed with Jessica’s care for our border collie mix Boots for a very long day care day. Boots enjoyed the fenced-in yard and romping with another visiting dog. With a lovely, flexible, positive personality, Jess made us feel assured that Boots was being well taken care of. We would highly recommend her to others and will definitely seek her services again, when we return to town and need temporary dog care.”

“Mary and her family are awesome! Sage has some health issues and Mary was extremely attentive with him and took wonderful care of him. We are blessed to have found her and Sage will definitely return for daycare.”
“Kelly is very easy to communicate with and I appreciate her flexibility regarding rescheduling my first daycare appointment. Her family is very warm and it makes me happy that my puppy can have more of a home/backyard experience rather than a kennel scenario to reinforce house training. She sent nice photos throughout the day. I especially liked how friendly and spunky her two doodles are because my 5mo puppy was running around playing with them after only a few minutes. I definitely will be asking Kelly to watch my puppy in the future.”

“I felt really good about leaving our pup with Riley. She was always responsive, clearly has experience and knows how to respond to each individual pet's needs. We'll definitely book with Riley again!”

“Kirtly was very responsive, and gave a ton of feedbacks on the daycare session with our two dogs, one of which a 2 month old puppy. Will definitely book with Kirtly again.”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter for Bowie! Jayden was wonderful from start to finish. He kept us updated throughout our time away with regular messages and adorable photos of Bowie, which gave us peace of mind. It was clear that Bowie was well cared for and happy. Jayden’s communication was excellent - they were always responsive and proactive about letting us know how things were going. I came back to one very content puppy! I would absolutely book with Jayden again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring sitter.”
