About: I treat every dog as if they were my own, focusing on creating a stress-free, loving environment. Additionally, I’m detail-oriented when it comes to following owner instructions and schedules, ensuring your pet gets the care they need exactly as you prefer. Pet care is an integral part of my daily routine, both as a dog owner and a caregiver. I structure my schedule to ensure dogs in my care receive consistent attention, exercise, and affection. I have flexibility during weekdays and weekends, allowing me to accommodate a variety of needs, from daily drop-ins and walks to extended stays. My weekly routine already includes caring for my one-year-old pug, so I’m experienced in managing feeding schedules, potty breaks, playtime, and rest periods. For longer stays or visits, I ensure pets are given plenty of one-on-one attention and maintain their usual routines to keep them happy and stress-free. Whether it’s a quick check-in, a walk, or all-day care, I prioritize making every moment enjoyable and enriching for your furry friend! When caring for pets in my home or my client’s home, their safety and comfort are my top priorities. I ensure all spaces are pet-proofed, free of hazards, and well-suited to their needs, from cozy resting spots to safe play areas. In my home, I maintain a clean, secure environment where pets can relax, play, and feel at ease. I supervise them closely during activities to prevent accidents and ensure they are always safe. If your pet stays with me, I’ll maintain their routine as much as possible, including feeding, potty breaks, and playtime. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize building trust with your furry friend and keeping them calm and comfortable in their familiar space. I follow your instructions precisely and provide updates to give you peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is to create a loving, stress-free experience for your pet, whether they’re staying with me or being cared for in your home!
15. Rebecca P.
“Rebecca was amazing! She met with me before watching my dogs and she was very loving and attentive to both of them. She kept me informed about how they did while I was gone and kept the report card up-to-date. She left my house very clean and she was very respectful. I would definitely use her again!”
16. Roy T.
“Roy is EXCELLENT!!! He is kind and treated my dogs like his own. I have a small terrier mix who gets nervous easily. Roy had my Kaiden excited to see him, no problem! If he could get Kaiden to like him, Roy is certainly a dog whisperer!! Lol! Definitely recommend him and will be utilizing his services in the future,”
17. Emil F.
“So simple and pleasant. Emil took care of our dog while we were in town for a football game. She seemed happy and content when we picked her up. Emil has a calming demeanor.”
18. Gwyneth M.

19. Brooke L.
About: Hi my name is Brooke, I’m a 3rd year at UVA studying business in the McIntire school of commerce, and I love animals. I have a lot of experience with being a caregiver for pets. My uncle previously was a breeder and he would have my sister and I take care of the puppies during his work days. I also have experience with caring for others pets and have completed many services through Wag. It’s currently the summer so I have a lot of time to spend with animals throughout the day. But during the year I will be in school and have availability during the evenings and weekends. Depending on any service, I usually read the owners notes to care for the pet during the time asked to do so. I’ve previously used Wag and when I complete the services I communicate a lot with the pet parents throughout the time letting them know what I’ve done, etc.
20. Gala M.
About: I am a senior at Radford University that enjoys dog sitting when I am home in Charlottesville. Over the years I have had many animals including, dogs, cats, fish, a bunny, and hamsters. I love being around animals and making them happy and their owners happy too. I have always had a passion for animals and what they bring to a family. Getting animals throughout my life has brought a lot of joy into my family, especially during hard times with Covid. Having a special furry friend to play with and have around the house is truly something special. I am a very active person and love to be outside. I definitely would love any animal that I walk or pet sit! I also work part time at the boys and girls club in the mornings so I have plenty of time during the day to be as present as needed with an animal. I love going on walks and I have a dog park right up the road from my house which is always good for the dogs who like to socialize
