“Paula provided just what we needed for our Chihuahua—a safe place to stay while we were in town for lunch. Our venue was not dog friendly, but knowing that our pup was being well cared for put our minds at ease.”

“Bree was so great! She was super flexible with my long work hours and Oakley had the absolute best time with her! We will definitely be using her again!”

“Svitlana did great with Otto's nervous mom (me). She sent plenty of photos, updates, and reassurance. Otto felt comfortable at the house during his doggie daycare stay. He was relaxed enough to eat, sleep, and play. I rarely have anyone watch Otto, but we'll return if Svitlana is available when needed in the future.”

“Milan was very responsible and even with a last minute booking was able to communicate with me! Would recommend to any dog owner!”

“This has been the first time Izzy has come home tired!! How wonderful! She got to play all day long with Carolyn’s sweet dogs and another dog that was over. She had a blast!! Carolyn is knowledgeable and I trust her if anything were to happen. She cares about dogs and sends videos and pictures (pretty fantastic photographer ;). I’m hoping she will watch Izzy again!! Thank you so much Carolyn!”

“Rebecca was amazing! She met with me before watching my dogs and she was very loving and attentive to both of them. She kept me informed about how they did while I was gone and kept the report card up-to-date. She left my house very clean and she was very respectful. I would definitely use her again!”

“Jessica and James have both been great daycare hosts! They’re efficient communicators and home most of the day so my dog gets a lot of time outside the crate. They’re great at being flexible as well and we definitely recommend and will continue to use regularly. This was my first rover experience and it was great!”

“Julia was great! Our pup, Granby, has a lot of energy and she was wonderful with him. She allowed him to run around and really get his energy out. She also continually kept me updated with photos as well, which was really appreciated!”

About: I am a social person. I’ll work hard and take good care of your dog. I have a dog back home. I love dogs a lot. I’m free all day Friday-Sunday. I’m a former football player so I know that I’ll be dedicated to giving your dog the best care. I truly love dogs. We have a playground for the dog here at my apartment. They have treats everywhere for pets and I believe this is a great space for a dog to be.

About: I am a new grad physician assistant currently awaiting credentialing for my new job in pediatrics and spending my time off walking dogs! I am a huge dog lover and a very active person. I used to dog and cat sit as a side hustle prior to PA school and now that I have some free time I would love to walk dogs in the community until I start a new medical career in June. I always had dogs growing up and have background caring for many pets in cville as well as a medical background. I currently have a very flexible schedule and I am around to walk dogs most days. Im not yet back to working in medicine so I am home most days Happy to walk dogs any distance/amount of time/ route. Also happy to jog with dogs if clients prefer and if the dog is used to jogging (I am a runner). Also willing to take dogs to client preferred parks or trails.

“Luna loves her visits with Vanessa and her family! She always comes back tired and contented. Very thankful to have them in our lives for the past few months! It’s a relief that she’s loved on when I’m sleeping for work. Also they go above and beyond! Thank you both so much!”

“Emil provided a nice experience for our two Cavachon's. This was our first experience using Rover as we began a long trip south. I admit I was a bit anxious with first time leaving dogs with someone they never met but Emil had good reviews. We used Emil's services for a half day as we visited Monticello. On our way we had car trouble and our trip was delayed and Emil was flexible moving the morning sitting to the afternoon. Our dogs seemed content when we returned.”

“Ashley took great care of Tobi today. We were so glad she could watch him for us. From the pictures he looked very comfortable with Ashley. 😊”

“Gwynee is a very professional, responsive, and caring, she gives Zoe the love and attention she needs while I'm at work. I highly recommend her as your furbaby care taker and will continue using her to watch Zoe.”

About: I have taken care of dogs sense I can remember. Walking and grooming them. Playing with them and just cuddling them. I think of dogs as my all time favorite stress reliever and simply enjoy their company. My dog Newton accompanies me to work as well and makes a great therapy dog with his laid back attitude and lovable heart. I’m currently working part time but I am available on Sundays, Fridays, and half days on Mondays. Also walking in the evenings most any day after 5 pm.0 and near by lake for walks, also my little 20 lb dog who thinks everyone is his friend. He has a very gentle spirit and is more of a passive dog than a alpha leader.

“Jani & Paul were able to graciously accommodate my puppy for daycare on very short notice. He thoroughly enjoyed his stay and will most definitely be booking again. The best!!!”
