About: We are long-time dog lovers and approved foster parents with the local SPCA! Jayne has experience caring for and training a reactive, traumatized dog, and the two of us have fostered puppies, medical fosters, and adopted our own 2 friendly dogs. We only offer availability on days where your dog will be well cared for. Rowan is a grad student and Jayne works a 15 min walk away. Your dogs will receive lots of love and attention! We have 2 rescue dogs who love to meet and play with new friends! Our home has a fenced in backyard and lots of toys. We can provide positive reinforcement for your pups, are comfortable with bathing them (if you would like!) and have toys all around!

I really trust her to keep an eye on my crazy puppy - and it's such a huge bonus that her dog, Leo, is such a wonderful companion for Otis (and I'm sure all other dogs in her care!). She has a great and safe fenced in yard with plenty of shade and lots of space to run, and she takes great long dog walks on the Rivanna River Trail. She's dropped in on Otis a few times in our home, and is super respectful and trustworthy of our space and is always great about sending photos of Otis having fun and letting me know when everything is all safe and locked up again. I would recommend her in a heartbeat - she's THE BEST.”

About: Loving family with little kids interested in loving your doggie! As a family we have many years of experience with having dogs in our home and helping to care for others dogs. We have 5 beautiful, un-fenced, acres where your pup will be free to roam. If necessary we have an outdoor dog run for those needing more structure. While we do not allow dogs in our beds, nor on furniture, we do allow them in our hearts. Our family loves dogs, walking, running, throwing the ball/frisbee, cuddling, and caring for dogs. We would love to be as flexible and accommodating as possible to make the transition/care as comfortable as possible. Do not hesitate to ask about any specific needs. We understand! About: A grew up in the family that treated dogs as extended family. I have dog sat many times through Rover but I am just now getting back into it after I adopted my 20 lb dachshund/min pin/pug mix named Buffy. She loves other dogs just like me, especially ones her size! But it is always good to meet beforehand because you never know how two dogs will vibe. Feel free to reach out and set something up! Every day I take my dog for walks and to the park sometimes. I’m am a recent graduate, job hunting so there’s lots of flexibility. I take Buffy out morning, noon, afternoon, and night. There’s several parks very close! No yard but I make up for it in long walks and lots of play. Dogs in my home are welcome on the furniture and encouraged to cuddle.
