About: I grew up in a house full of dogs in Nigeria, more than 20 over the years, and helped raise and train them from the day they were born. I taught basic commands, cared for newborn puppies, and handled everything from playful escape artists to protective mamas. Dogs have been part of my daily life for as long as I can remember. Now I’m a fourth-year at UVA, and since my apartment doesn’t allow pets, Rover lets me keep dogs in my life while giving owners reliable, attentive care. I treat every dog like one of my own because for most of my life, they were. I’m a fourth-year student at UVA with a flexible schedule. I’m available most early evenings, and weekends, and I keep my calendar updated weekly. If there’s a time you need but it’s blocked out, feel free to request anyway; I’m often able to accommodate. I live near Grounds, so I can easily do midday drop-ins and walks. Your home, your rules! I follow your existing routines and safety instructions exactly, keep doors and gates secured, always leash up for walks, and send photo updates every visit so you have total peace of mind

About: I’m a long-time pet sitter who took care of my neighbors’ dogs, cats, hermit crabs, birds, and fish growing up. As a child, I took attentive care of my hamster, betta fish, and snail and loved growing up with cats. In 2020, I fostered and then adopted my cat, Cruz, from the SPCA. We lived with two humans, two dogs, and three rats. Cruz and I now live with my partner and her cat, Moo Moo, in Belmont. About: I’ve always had animals in my younger life from cats to dogs, and even though I only have a cat I continue to love dogs. My current housing situation allows me to share dog sitting and caring of his clients dogs (ages 9 months to 14 years) for the last ten years. Since then I have asked my neighbors for tending to the needs of their dogs be it from a 5 mile walk on and off leash to a 100 yard potty break in addition to giving medications. I’m currently working part time three days a week and an occasional Saturday, so I have the time to care and interact for your furry friend. I live in a neighborhood with easy access to the Rivanna trails and a road trip access to a farm with woods in Earlysville for running in fields. I also have a very tolerant cat who actually enjoys dogs staying with me because she’s learned that visiting dogs often get a treat she’s earned one too. My house has hardwood floors on the first floor throughout access to the carpeted lower level is through a door. The dog would have free range of the house while we were at home and unless he/she is accustomed to be crated.

About: We both grew up taking care of neighbors’ and family members’ pets. I have done dog and cat care for several years and I love every minute of it. I’m currently working 4 days a week. I am looking for more furry friends in my life and would love to take care of your pet in my free time! About: I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life. I’ve had big and small dogs. I currently have two small Morkies, Pickle and Penny. Pickle requires a special diet and pills to be given daily. Penny loves to be close and cuddle. My parents dogs is a black lab who over the past few years I’ve helped take care of. She has Addison disease and requires medication daily. She also needs a special routine to help keep her from getting overwhelmed. I’ve also had cats throughout my whole life and frequently had to give medications to my last cat Tilly. I really am looking forward to an opportunity to help be involved in your pets life. Whether it’s for a short walk, a play in the park, or just cuddles. I can’t have cats or other dogs because my wife is allergic to them. I’ve recently moved away from my family and looking to be able to still be able help other animals. That’s why I know getting on Rover is a great choice for me!! A little about me is I have been a nurse for ten years, and currently am a charge nurse. I love caring and helping people but I also love caring for animals. My schedule is different every week but I am able to visit anytime I am off. I have two dogs of my own at home. We have a dog park in the neighborhood that is fenced. I am able to be flexible with your animal needs. I can walk and play or just hang out with them. I can crate them before I leave, or give medications. I am overall very flexible and willing to meet your animals needs!

About: I have been taking care of neighbors' dogs since I was nine years old! I have watched many senior dogs and dogs with special routines. I'm currently working on my Master's in Public Health at UVA, so I have plenty of flexibility to keep your dogs company! I am available most weekday evenings and weekends!
