Whether your pet needs energetic playtime, a 10 mile run, relaxing companionship, or attentive care and routine, I’m happy to provide a safe and comfortable experience while you’re away. I'm currently working part-time, so I have plenty of time to visit and play with your pets! I'm available at most times, 7 days a week. I care for pets by following their usual routines as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication, and any special instructions. In my home, I provide a safe, supervised environment that is clean and has plenty of open space. In a client’s home, I make sure pets feel comfortable in their familiar surroundings while keeping their space clean and secure. I’m happy to provide regular updates and photos so you can see that your pet is happy and well cared for!

When I'm not caring for your pet babies, I'm in the kitchen working as a private chef here in Central, VA! Because I'm self employed with a flexible schedule, your pet won't have to spend long hours alone. I focus on low-stress, individualized attention—no overcrowded group walks or forced interactions. About: I’m a long-time pet sitter who took care of my neighbors’ dogs, cats, hermit crabs, birds, and fish growing up. As a child, I took attentive care of my hamster, betta fish, and snail and loved growing up with cats. In 2020, I fostered and then adopted my cat, Cruz, from the SPCA. We lived with two humans, two dogs, and three rats. Cruz and I now live with my partner and her cat, Moo Moo, in Belmont. I regularly commute through Rio Road and can easily spend time with your pets on my way to and from my part-time job at the library. I live in Belmont and regularly commute through town and Rio Road. I work part-time, allowing me to spend time getting to know your pets during visits. I notice and respect the boundaries that nervous cats and dogs lay out. The patient and calm energy I bring minimizes stress to anxious animals.

About: I have been pet sitting for many years, typically with friends and family. I have been responsible for cats (domestic & feral), dogs, goats, sheep, chickens, turkeys, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, guinea fowls, fish, bearded dragons, geckos and even a millipede! I have also worked with animals in a professional setting for 14 years and I have some veterinary assistant experience. I’m happy to handle extra tasks such as retrieving mail, watering plants and even some light housekeeping. I work full time (4 days per week) but can provide morning and evening care most days. On days off, I can be flexible and as available as your pet requires. I will be as candid as possible about my schedule to ensure choosing me is the best option! In a clients home, I follow all instructions given in regard to their pets care. I ensure the pet is comfortable with me before any handling or petting. I love to send photos and updates to clients letting them see how their pet is doing.

About: We both grew up taking care of neighbors’ and family members’ pets. I have done dog and cat care for several years and I love every minute of it. I’m currently working 4 days a week. I am looking for more furry friends in my life and would love to take care of your pet in my free time! My partner Callie works part time and would be available for visits MWF during the day if that’s what you’re looking for! We would be happy to stay with your pet overnight if needed. We will always go out of our way to make sure your pet is happy and healthy!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I work remote so I can always be available for your little buddy! I’m a medical student, so I will have to be gone a few hours in the morning, but after that I can cater to any of your animals needs. I get up around 7 AM and head to get around 11:30. I always take frequent breaks throughout the day to stretch my legs and get some sun. Whatever you need, I’ll make sure your pet is well loved and appreciated! My house is always very clean and very spacious. I also live right next to a park and go for walks by myself regularly. Whenever I watch my friends animals, I bring my own food and activities and leave the place better than I found it.

About: I have taken care of dogs and cats and rabbits for years. I also have experience as a pet owner to a cat and grew up with dogs and cats and various rabbits and farm animals my entire life. My goal is to ease your pets anxiety when their person is not there! I will work to make sure your pet has what they need and the love they deserve! I work 3 days a week but am off by 5:00 and am super flexible. I am free on weekends and am happy to stay with the animals when I’m not at work! I also have the flexibility to leave during lunch during my work hours. I am very in tune with your pets needs and will make sure they always have fresh water and food at correct times. I’m happy to send as many updates as you need, and as many pictures! I am very flexible of what is required for you and your animals needs! I love to walk around the neighborhood and get them exercise as well as spending time in their safe environment. I’m happy to play fetch or sit with them and just give cuddles.
