“Rhiana is always great! This time our pup had some anxiety about us being gone and she went out of her way to make sure he ate and was okay. We sincerely appreciate her kindness and love for our pets!”

About: I'm no stranger to a dog that needs to be tuckered out. I was 12 when my parents decided to introduce a husky as our first family dog, and I've been running around with him ever since! I have been caring for the pets of friends and neighbors since early high school; I've looked after dogs of all ages and all sizes! I am perfectly capable of handling large dogs, even the ones that pull on the lead, and if your pet requires a little extra patience and understanding, I've got plenty of that too! Whether your dog requires a calm stroll or a more intensive adventure, I am here to keep their tail wagging! I am wrapping up my last semester at UVA this month and have free time before and after my classes to get out and enjoy the warming weather with your pup! I never have class before 11am and I'm typically done by 3pm most week days. My Fridays and weekends are kept pretty open! After graduation, I am staying in the Charlottesville area. I take pet care very seriously and honor all routines that your pets expect/are used to. I have experience in administering oral medication and crating. I'm no stranger to the shenanigans that pets sometimes get up to, so if you have any specific rules within the home, I do my absolute best to uphold them!
“Mitch did a great job with our cat! He sent regular photos and updates, which we really appreciated, and we came home to a very happy kitty. We've already booked him for future visits!”

“Kailyn was a lifesaver when I needed a last minute pet sitter. She was very responsive, sent detailed updates and pictures, and had no problem handling my cat's different foods and medications. I would definitely use her services again!”

“Yana did a fantastic job caring for my kitten with a last minute notice! She took great pics and videos along with thorough notes! Will definitely keep them in mind for future bookings!”

“Rachel was outstanding! Very polite and professional! She was on time and gave me thorough updates on my two elderly doxies while I was away. I will definitely rebook her!”
“Karlee is a great sitter! She’s super friendly and responsive to visits. She’s done a great job at doing house visits for my puppy to tire him out and keep him engaged when I’m busy. Would definitely recommend!”

“Megan has been amazing. My cats connected with her very well. Even my older cat who is standoffish with strangers sat on her lap. She came to my rescue when I needed her for another day and I appreciate her so much!”

“Danielle was fantastic with my shy older kitty! This was the first time I'd left her at home for more than one night, and I was nervous about how she'd react. Even though she usually hides from strangers, my cat was coming out and greeting Danielle at every visit, and she was perfectly happy when I got home. I would absolutely book with Danielle again!”

“Lauren was great with my puppy! She was communicative, flexible, and took great care of my pup! I would highly recommend her for your pet care needs!”

About: I’ve owned many dogs over my lifetime. From a Min Pin to Collies, Retrievers and Pointers. I have taken care of friends and relatives animals while they were out of town. I have done long time sits (several weeks) to daily drop ins. I’m retired so I have lots of time to care for your pets. I love taking walks and getting to know each animal whether it’s to come hang out and play, feed etc or take for long or short walks. I don’t have any dogs or cats living with me now due to my landlord not allowing pet ownership. They don’t mind if I bring a dog here for short periods.
About: Hello everyone! My name is Paige and I am currently a student at UVA and part of the Virginia Polo Club where I help take care of our ponies and play polo! At home, I help care for a Pitbull Mix and a large Australian Shepherd, both weighing around 75 lbs. I am confident in my ability to understand their body language and handle them effectively. Growing up with dogs, barn cats, and horses has equipped me with a diverse skill set when it comes to animal care! I have experience administering medicine, cleaning up accidents, managing reactive dogs, and caring for animals of all ages. For years, I have been doing drop-in visits and overnight stays caring for dogs, cats, and even goats! I’m organized, reliable, responsible, and adaptable to your pet’s specific needs. For the Spring 2026 semester, I am consistently busy Tuesdays and Thursdays from 11am-8pm, but am available in the mornings and every other day of the week. If you have any concerns, questions, or clarifications, please feel free to reach out -- I’m dedicated to ensuring the best care for you and your pet(s)! I’m currently a student at UVA but have a flexible schedule during the week and would love to help take care of your animals! I can do overnight stays every day of the week. Unfortunately, I can’t board any pets where I’m living but am more than happy to come to you! Back at home we have 2 medium-large dogs that weigh in at around 75 lbs that I can walk, crate, and otherwise manage. I’m able to notice changes in body language and what they mean. I also have experience feeding and giving medication to livestock and am comfortable dealing with larger animals.
“My dog had such a great time with Bertie while I was on vacation, she probably didn’t even notice I was gone. Seeing the pictures of their day together made me happy and I will rebook in the future!”

“Tracy was so great with meeting my pup! She spent so much time and careful questioning to make sure she had all of the necessary information to take care of him. I feel very, very confident in recommending her to others.”

“Amy was quick to respond and was available when I made my request at the last minute. This is the second time Amy has watched my cats and I will happily ask her to cat sit again.”

“Sam was amazing with our Chaos. She was so patient in getting to know him and sat for us for a week and now he loves her!!! Definitely will book again ❤️”

“Margaret was a pleasure to work with. This was her first time with Sugar. He is a very fearful cat and it takes him a while to trust new people. I believe by the end of the week he did let her touch him. I intend to use Margaret many more times and the relationship will grow”

“Ed did an amazing job watching my dog Jack for a Saturday and Sunday while me and my girlfriend were out of town. We started off with a Meet and Greet, where Ed was super attentive to Jack's schedule, taking note of his feeding and walking windows. Every visit Ed made sure to leave a nice little comment on how Jack was doing with pictures attached. Super easy booking, good communication, and a great job! I will definitely book with Ed again if I need a sitter. Highly recommend!”

“Josephine is excellent, very reliable and caring. She sent me detailed reports and photos every day, so I could relax knowing my dog and cat were in good hands while I was away.”

Mitch has cared for my dog multiple times and is always amazing. This time we were gone for a whole week. His communication was top notch as always, and he went above and beyond to ensure she was well cared for. I plan to continue booking with him moving forward.
