About: I'm no stranger to a dog that needs to be tuckered out. I was 12 when my parents decided to introduce a husky as our first family dog, and I've been running around with him ever since! I have been caring for the pets of friends and neighbors since early high school; I've looked after dogs of all ages and all sizes! I am perfectly capable of handling large dogs, even the ones that pull on the lead, and if your pet requires a little extra patience and understanding, I've got plenty of that too! Whether your dog requires a calm stroll or a more intensive adventure, I am here to keep their tail wagging! I am wrapping up my last semester at UVA this month and have free time before and after my classes to get out and enjoy the warming weather with your pup! I never have class before 11am and I'm typically done by 3pm most week days. My Fridays and weekends are kept pretty open! After graduation, I am staying in the Charlottesville area. I take pet care very seriously and honor all routines that your pets expect/are used to. I have experience in administering oral medication and crating. I'm no stranger to the shenanigans that pets sometimes get up to, so if you have any specific rules within the home, I do my absolute best to uphold them!
“Margaret was great with our dog Ace! She made sure he had plenty of fun/ play time in addition to feeding/regular care for him while we were gone. She was open to schedule changes as needed. Would recommend!”

“Tracy was so great with meeting my pup! She spent so much time and careful questioning to make sure she had all of the necessary information to take care of him. I feel very, very confident in recommending her to others.”

“Sam was amazing with our Chaos. She was so patient in getting to know him and sat for us for a week and now he loves her!!! Definitely will book again ❤️”

“Rachel was outstanding! Very polite and professional! She was on time and gave me thorough updates on my two elderly doxies while I was away. I will definitely rebook her!”
“My dog had such a great time with Bertie while I was on vacation, she probably didn’t even notice I was gone. Seeing the pictures of their day together made me happy and I will rebook in the future!”

“Josephine is excellent, very reliable and caring. She sent me detailed reports and photos every day, so I could relax knowing my dog and cat were in good hands while I was away.”

“Caroline truly went above and beyond what we'd expected for a dog sitter. She came a few days beforehand to meet Rusty and get familiar with him so that when she arrived on the day, he was eager and excited to see her ( ie. get cuddles, playtime, food and a walk outside. She also graciously sent us pictures and regular updates on Rusty. Overall she was friendly, interesting -- be sure to ask about her connection to the movie Top Gun Maverick :), timely, thorough and clearly a dog lover. I think Rusty made a friend for life. We'll definitely be asking Caroline to watch over our pup again.”

About: Hello everyone! My name is Paige and I am currently a student at UVA and part of the Virginia Polo Club where I help take care of our ponies and play polo! At home, I help care for a Pitbull Mix and a large Australian Shepherd, both weighing around 75 lbs. I am confident in my ability to understand their body language and handle them effectively. Mitch has cared for my dog multiple times and is always amazing. This time we were gone for a whole week. His communication was top notch as always, and he went above and beyond to ensure she was well cared for. I plan to continue booking with him moving forward.
