About: I've been taking care of both cats and dogs since I was 7! I have experience with dogs of all sizes, including dogs as large as 100+ pounds. I also have experience with pets of all ages, including puppies and kittens up to senior animals. I love animals and promise that I will make sure your furry family member is happy, well cared for, and loved when they are with me! I'm currently on a break between graduating law school and my full time job starting, so I have plenty of time to spend with your furry family member! I live an apartment that is up 2 flights of stairs with my partner. We are a non-smoking home. While we don't currently have pets of our own, our home is ready for your pet to stay over! We have room for up to a medium sized crate in our home. Right outside our door we have an outdoor pet relief area and easy access to nearby parks for lots of enriching walks. I will send a photo with every visit and happy to communicate more frequent updates for longer visits or stays, whatever your preference is.

About: I’ve taken care of my family dogs over the course of my life from when they were 8 weeks old to 15.5 years old when they needed extra assistance at home. I work full time at home with flexibility to make my own schedule. I love going for walks before work and during the day to get outside! I currently have no dogs of my own or foster dogs in my home. I can help with basic training needs like practicing sit, stay, down, and also leash training.

About: Hi my name is Brooke, I’m a 3rd year at UVA studying business in the McIntire school of commerce, and I love animals. I have a lot of experience with being a caregiver for pets. My uncle previously was a breeder and he would have my sister and I take care of the puppies during his work days. I also have experience with caring for others pets and have completed many services through Wag. It’s currently the summer so I have a lot of time to spend with animals throughout the day. But during the year I will be in school and have availability during the evenings and weekends. Depending on any service, I usually read the owners notes to care for the pet during the time asked to do so. I’ve previously used Wag and when I complete the services I communicate a lot with the pet parents throughout the time letting them know what I’ve done, etc.

“Lorinda has been a friend of mine for 17 years, and over that time she has become the sister I never had. She is kind, adventurous, intelligent, responsible, and cares a lot about people and animals. She has a lot of love stored up in her heart, and a big piece of that is for little fury creatures. She has a dog of her own that was rescued and I have seen him treated as a treasured little member of her family. He goes on lots of walks, is talked to often, is included in life, and is treated patiently in the things he carried with him from his rough past. Lorinda is a fabulous person for anyone to trust their dog with.”
